This place is fantastic! I got a bike about a year and a half ago and it needed some work. I was trying to do it all myself and ordered parts online. I ordered a new wheel b/c the one I had was bent and then since my gears were rusted on, I ordered a cassette (gears) for the wheel too. When my cassette arrived I was puzzled as to why it wasnt working with my bike.. I watched a million youtube videos and still couldnt figure it out. My parents suggested Performance Bike and my first response was "Im a student , I dont have that kind of money" My first impression was these professionals were going to charge mega money, but to my surprise, I would have SAVEEEDDD more than half the money I spent on trying to do it myself. They are super friendly and professional. Every person in there greets you with a smile and is very helpful. After I was educated (he was very polite) I bought the wrong cassette , the gentleman even offered to swap out the one I bought for the correct one for my wheel!! Free of charge! I took my bike home still thinking I could put my chain on myself (LOL) and decided to bring it right back b/c once again, I ordered the wrong chain- haha Moral of the story- these guys know what they are doing.. they are VERY affordable, super friendly and fantastic. I brought my bike in for the chain install, and when I got it back- It looked like a BRAN NEW bike!! After a year and a half of collecting dust and pollen, then wiped it clean, made it shiny, swapped out my mistakes, and sent me on with a smile!! I HIGHLY recommend Performance Bike on Barrett PKWY! Terrible service. I went to Performance Bicycle to get an inner tube for my tire. I wanted some advice on an inner tube they might recommend, but no one ever approached me to ask if I needed any help. There was at least two employees on duty. So, I waited at the back of the store where they seemed to be assisting some other customers and waited, but no one seemed to care. I finally left and went to REI. As soon as I walked into REI, they immediately asked if I needed any help. They could not have been any nicer. I purchased an inner tube from REI, and I was happy with their service. For a place called Performance Bicycle, they had lousy performance. They make you feel like they do not want your business. Maybe that should be there tag line: Performance Bicycle: we make you feel like we do not want your business!

Went in today to pick up shoes for spin class and waited for someone to assist. No one was available so found a guy who was helping a client and once he was done, I asked him of he could assist but he was at a bike and stated that he had to finish repairing it and get it out but that he would come over. I waited and waited and then looked up and found him helping other clients who had walked in after me( thought you had to finish working on the bike). I will not spend money at any store in which my money is looked at as being less so I can honestly say that I will never step imto this store again. Bad Customer Service.

Great shop to buy bikes or accessories. They also service bikes not purchased through them. The staff is knowledgeable and super helpful every time. You may have to wait for a few minutes for service, but just know that they will spend just as much time with you. We have purchased a lot of cycling clothing and have no complaints about quality even for the lower priced items. We just purchased a bicycle on the website and are excited that we will have free lifetime adjustments. It is an investment but it will pay off. They have a satisfaction guarantee on any of their products. Highly recommend this store.

I went in to purchase a bike and found one that I liked. At the time, no one was in the store, but as I stood there with my hands on the bike other people entered the store. They seemed to get priority as I continued to look around for helpful staff. 25 minutes later, finally, a staff member left other customers to attend me. As he approached, I commented on how long I had been there, but seemed to get no acknowledgement of the situation. This is not the first time this has happened at this particular store. Need some refresher training on customer service!

I brought a 20 year old bike in and Austin was amazing! Super attentive! He immediately tweaked a few things and sold me a couple of tires to fit my daughters needs. He assisted me in finding the right seat and was super knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Rather than sell me a bike I didnt need, he took care of what I had. The other employees rounded up a couple of reflectors for me, and helped me load the bike into my SUV. The shop has a great selection of bikes and merchandise also. I wont hesitate to return!! Great service!!!!

I purchased my hybrid bike at the shop during the fall sale. The staff is well informed. They explained to me in detail about the differences in the bike models, their suitability based on frequency of riding and other stuff. The store itself hosts wide range of bicycles covering all price ranges and bike types, The do free gear tune ups and air filling. The service is very good and I am more than satisfied with my bike so far. :)

I have a Diamondback Edgewood bike with beer cans for rims. After an attempt to lightly cinch up a few loose spokes, the rim turned to spaghetti. I called on Performance bikes on the following day. The mechanic in the service department got me a new wheel off the rack, put a new suitable 7 speed gear cluster on it and got me ready to go within 3 minutes. Thanks to the guys working on 6/8/2017 that know how service works. !

Customer service is horrible tried to use my card and the manager says he cant manually punch it in you have to use another card and then proceeds to tell me my plus card has been expired for 2 years and I checked it wasnt poor place I will go to the one in Atlanta from now on this guy is no manager and I have had more than this bad review on him and they do nothing about it .

Ive been a customer of Performance Bike since they were only a mail order catalog, and this retail location for around 4 years. Ive bought bikes here, rebuilt some of my old bikes here, and just recently started taking part in their weekend group rides. I consider myself a decent mechanic, but when things get tricky, Austin is the guy I look to to make things right again.

Super good shop! Everyone there is very helpful and knowledgable. I have gotten one bike and had them order in a frameset for me in the past 6 months along with various other things. Austin, the mechanic helped me with my build and he knows what hes doing and should be able to fix any problem you have! Great shop and great employees!
