I had an awful experience here tonight. I have gone to this location for the past 3 years and always found the management and the bike mechanics to be helpful and friendly. However, tonight was an exception. The older man who was running the place was condescending and rude, after I went in to get a new tire and tube he lectured me as if I was a little kid about how I should always bring a spare tube and pump on rides. As he was ringing me up, instead of the usual cashier etiquette (hello, thanks for your business, etc.) he lectures me about wearing a helmet. At the end of our transaction I said "thanks" but he just turned around and walked to the back. Also no one helped hold the door open for me (as I had my hands full carrying my bicycle, a tube, and a tire all at once) and instead they just stared as I awkwardly opened the door with my foot and shuffled out with my hands full. The kids doing the mechanical work are great, but the older guy running the store that night needs to work on his customer service. I will be taking my business to another bike shop from now on because this. I guess because my bike looks old (I purposely make it look old to deter theft) he thinks Im not a valuable customer but the truth is I spend at least $500 a year on bike gear and every 6 years or so I spend 1-2k on a new bike so thats money theyre not going to be getting now.

Always blown away by the service and friendliness of the staff. Having just moved from out of state I didnt know where to go to have my specialty wheels serviced after suffering some damage while riding. I walked N with my when and parts in hand. Without seeing the Booker there knew the route cause of the damage and had the wheel repaired and ready to ride in no time, which was a relief after being turned away by several other shops in the area. The shop is extremely knowledgeable and always attentive when Im in for parts, service or just in the area and stop in to see whats new. As long as Im living in the area Ill be returning to this shop.

Ive lived in East Cobb most of my life. Ive seen Free- Flite bicycles but never actually stopped there. I brought my sons bike into the shop because the brakes didnt work. I had thought about going to REI but they are a little more out of the way and I thought after all this time I should see what this shop is about. They gave me a fair price and finished the work same day. Everyone was friendly and courteous. (Even the other customers). I definitely plan on using them again.

I visited the store, yesterday, with my child, thinking Id need to purchase some training wheels. We had an EXCELLENT customer service experience and in-store lesson from Chuck! Hi enthusiasm was infectious. By the time we got home and my child practiced riding per Chucks recommendations, she was riding, on her own, within 20 minutes ... no training wheels necessary. Youre a game changer, Chuck!! Thanks for being the positive difference maker that you are!

Just had full service and upgrade/replacement of many parts on a 12yr old Gary Fisher mtn bike I thought Id have to replace. The service staff were excellent about going through all options and details with me. Just rode the bike and I honestly think its better than new. Mtn bikes arent cheap anywhere, and you get what you pay for (sometimes)-but FF done excellent work for me and Ill recommend them to anyone.

It is a BIKE shop not a CLOTHING shop. The staff is great here. Very knowledgeable about the products they carry and some that they dont. I really appreciated the fact that one (unnamed) employee talked me out of a more expensive piece of gear because they had had several problems with it. The $20 cheaper one has over 200 miles and is going strong.

Little to no selection on hand. People there did not want to get out of their chair to offer assistance. I came in with cash in my pocket ready for a new mountain bike and the girl (short hair with her hat backwards) could not care less!

The folks in this shop know their business, a lot more than I do. They overhauled my Pegasus as if they had sold it to me in the first place. The sound of it when I shift gears is so smooth. They said it would feel like new, and it does.

Took my bike here to replace a flat and got a lesson on how to do it myself with great recommendation on what I need to carry with me on a bike ride to ensure that I will not get stranded in the middle of nowhere.

Have bought my third bike in 6 years from the team at FF. Always very helpful and friendly staff. Very happy customer with their service team also. Theyve stayed late on several occasions to help me out.

The shop is great, BUT Aaron (mechanic) and Jason (salesman) are exceptional! Those two guys are all you need to get the business end of cycling taken care of, correctly. These guys need a raise!

I have taken in my kids bikes there for minor repairs and they have been quick, friendly, and very reasonable. I cant recommend them highly enough, even if you are not a "serious" biker.
