I go to this JoAnns very often! However this time I went my experience was AWFUL! I was looking for a big number "2" and ended up finding every number except a "2" and when I was looking for a worker to ask if there were any, I could not find anyone. So I ended up checking out with the items I had. As Im standing in line waiting, there was an older gentleman at the counter returning something, I heard the cashier tell him "this item is $1.50 you will be recieving .75 cents" the older man questioned " I paid the $1.50 so why am I not receiving the full amount" the cashier then stated "well you didnt bring a receipt and we have coupons all the time therefore you can take the .75 cents or you can keep your item" I get he didnt have a receipt but to be so rude about it was ridiculous AND as if the additional.75 cents wouldve broke them!! So then I make my way to this same cashier and I tell him I want to do separate transactions (I have three items) he says "why?" I told him because I wanted to use my coupon more than once, SOMETHING I HAVE DONE EVERY SINGLE TIME IVE MADE A PURCHASE FROM THIS STORE!! This guy tells me "no you cant do that" I try explaining to him that I do it all the time and he trys telling me Im lying!! After getting a little angry with him and about to just walk out without buying anything he says "let me finish...I can give you another coupon" great! Before I finished checking out I looked at his name tag and he was the manager!! Mario! I dont know how he got that position but I can promise that anytime I walk in this store and see him, I will walk right back out. Worst manager ever! Not to mention he looks gross!

I love this place, the one in Pompano on federal highway. The young lady named Jennifer is so sweet and helpful. Onever night I got off from work late and my son calls me and tells me he need some items for a project. I stop at 4 different stores and nothing, fI ally someone tells me about Joann fabrics. I only have 10 minutes to get there and I wwas in coral springs, I call the store and Jennifer tells me they close at 9pm. She helps me by pulling all the items I need and have them waiting in front of the store for me when I get there. I get there 3 minutes before closing. Without her help my son wouldnt been able to do his project. I aam so grateful for this young llady, she truly deserves a raise. She went over and beyond the call of customer service.

The young lady organizing the shelves stopped to not only explain what she thought would work for my artificial leg stocking project she took me to every aisle I needed to get my supplies & the cashier went above & beyond to help me get my coupons to help save me money. These two woman are the exact reason I go to Joannes & not that other store thats actually a lot closer for me but the people are nothing like Joannes staff! Thanks ladies.

I love all of the Jo-Ann locations. They have a huge selection of fabrics, crafts and decorative items, their sales are the best, and if you are a Rewards member, the discounts are out of this world. I always walk out having purchased way more than I intended to because so much great stuff can be bought for huge discounts.

I love coming to this store. Ive recently taken up embroidery and every time I go into the store nice employees help me up about what Im working on. Gives me wonderful ideas, places to find ideas and introduces me to different techniques and tools that would help me along in creating vision I have for various projects.

Very understaffed... you could walk the entire store and only run into the associate cutting fabric... They no longer accept their own discount card. Just all around frustrating to stand in line for long periods of time when everyone ahead of you only has 1 or 2 items in hand but there is only 1 cashier...

I can find a lot of the things I need here but they are a little pricy. This store have bargains but you have to know the regular price and the price of that item elsewhere if you can find it somewhere else. The coupons are the best when shopping here.

I spent an hour there yesterday grabbing things to inspire my new project. I got asked multiple times if I needed help and they put the fabric rolls back for me after they cut me some yards. Ive had to put it back myself in other craft stores.

The stuff is rude or non-existent! They actually get bothered if you ask them something. And they can "only serve one customer at the time" as the elderly lady told me when i simply asked an article after 10 min with same customer...
