Overall, my experiences at Michaels are happy times. Even when they have a super sale, and the line is long, it moves fast. Their cashiers are knowledgeable of their stock and keep the lines moving. I must have been there 4 days a week right before Christmas. You couldnt beat those prices. My only complaint is when I asked a particular employee in the floral dept, who happened to be in another isle. When she looked at us, it was obvious she did not want to be bothered. Ok, everyone may have an off day. Unfortunately, a few weeks later I found myself having to ask that same person a question. I clearly began my conversation "I know you dont want to help me, but..." And true to her nature, she told me to go the frames dept for help. Between her expression and tone, I hope never to deal with her again. I did mention that to my cashier, who thanked me for telling her. Her reply was "We should be happy people-we sell glitter". We both just laughed. See the difference a pleasant person makes!

Nothing is where it is supposed to be. The sales people basically refused to help locate items. When they were asked where to locate things, they simply replied "I dont know" and continued what they were previously doing (texting or gaming on their cell phones) When checking out, I had picked many items from the 90% off holiday bins and they did not ring up properly and instead of checking, the clerk refused to believe me and insulted my intelligence, suggesting maybe I did not remember where I had picked them up. I ended up putting all the "sale" items back and only getting a small percentage of what I came there for. I will never shop at this location again. I hold nothing against the company, itself, and will frequent other Michaels locations, but this one will never receive my business again...or at least until they hire new staff

Misleading signs! The store had so many signs saying 60% off floral not specifying which ones. One might assume that all were on sale or at least the area where the signs posted. I got a bunch of different kinds. I had other things to do so I didnt have a chance to look at receipt until I got home. It turned out that I was charged full price for ALL of the florals I bought. This is outrageous! And when I called the store to clarify, the associate who answered me was not helpful, kind of rude. I dont mind paying full price but I feel misled on this purchase.

Going to Michaels is always fun. There is a wide range of crafts for everyone to enjoy. There are lots of silk and dried flowers, fabric painting and decorating supplies, and plenty of things like paints and canvases. We have found the canvases here to be significantly less than in other places, when you buy them in multi-packs. The store is well organized and the people are friendly. This is one of the first places we check when looking for crafty supplies.

Sadly, this Michaels has nowhere near as much selection as the shops I was used to in MD. Too much stuff for scrapbooking, too much in the floral department, no basics. Yarn selection low, bead election low, no stencil material, just pre cut, small selection. very little organization either. slow check out. The workers are friendly, but theres just not much here. Does anyone in southern Florida do any original crafting? there so little to work from!

This place is great. The staff is so nice. They helped me to put together a project that I was creating for my wife at the last minute. The way that they treated me took a lot of stress off of the fact that this was being done last minute. They even offered me 50% off one of my items. I can only be grateful for this place Kama as they contributed to my family having a Merry Christmas.

One of my "go to" craft stores, always well stocked and friendly employees. Just one problem, no matter what time it is, the place is most likely to be crowded.
