Bait and switch! I am creating a guest room in my home with 2 custom twin beds on wheels that can also be used outside on my deck. I already had a great 7" thick mattress and needed a 2nd of the same height. I received a flyer from American Freight that offered am extra firm support hotel-motel (everybody loves hotel beds right?) quality twin mattress for only $39 for each piece. Being that the bed is a platform bed I only needed the mattress but I could also use a new one for my Queen bed. I called yesterday and spoke to a sales rep, told him it was an 80 mile round trip for me and I didnt want to waste my time and gas. We spoke about the mattress, I asked specific questions, and he assured my that he had 7 different models at that price including 2 models of the 7" thick one that I needed. He also said it would be no problem to buy just the mattress at that price, "cmon down and pick one out". Today I was excited as I drove the 40 miles to get there and as John said I was greeted by a smiling salesperson within seconds of walking in the door. I explained my phone call as he led me to the mattress section. He pointed to these 3" thick things that looked kind of like the pillow top from a mattress and said that those are the $39 mattresses but they are only sold in sets. I knelt down on one and could feel the spring from the box spring underneath it right through the mattress. This thing was pure garbage and I wouldnt buy it for my dogs to sleep on! I asked the sales rep where the 7" thick mattresses that the rep had told me about on the phone were. His first response was the guy must have either been lying or they sold them all. I told him that the guy told me there were lots of them to choose from so he said the guy was just lying. Then he walked me along their line of mattresses and gave me the price for each. I knelt on each one and could feel the springs in all of them until we got to the $219 per piece set. He then left me to check them out and said hed be back to answer any questions. I was mad, really mad. Between contemplating burning the place to the ground or taking advantage of our over 2 million facebook followers and calling channel 9 news to do an expose (I work in the media) lack of jail time won out so here I am. On the way out the door I told all the sales reps loud enough so every customer in the store could hear me that I was not upset with them personally, but their misleading sales tactics were criminal. I wasted 4 gallons of gas and over an hour of my time when I could have purchased a great mattress less than a mile from my home for $80. I am a smart, well educated consumer that usually doesnt get caught up in things like this but I was very specific in my questioning to make sure that they had exactly what I needed before making the drive. We recently stopped in here to compare prices on recliner loveseats. I had been looking in another store, earlier in the day, on a piece that stated it was "full grain leather". In this store, American Freight, I found a few loveseats I liked, but it stated that the leather was "bonded". So, I asked the salesman, Marc?, what was the difference. He came back with a quick answer telling me it was exactly the same thing. Just that different manufacturers use different names. Later, I googled it on my phone and discovered he lied. Bonded leather is the dust and waste and scrap from leather glued together. It is basically described as junk. These people are high pressure in here too. When I my intuition started to tell me to move on, another guy approached us like a high pressure car dealer and wanted to give us a "coupon for another 150.00 off the sales price. They dont want to let you leave without a purchase. At this point though, you couldnt give it to me free. These people are bordering on sleazy. Would never recommend this place. Not worth saving a few bucks.

we came in to buy furniture less then 6mths ago we wanted to pay cash for a good couch and a chair, well as of now we have to have it replaced we went back in they told us we can give you a store credit they could not tell us how long it would be so now we are sitting on crappy sinking breaking furniture that we thought was good we paid good money for this and was told it was good furniture it fell a part in 6mths we guess its not what we paid .they also said they are not sure if we even get a store credit we have a warranty but no guarantees so it looks like we are going to take a loss on crappy furniture we will go somewhere that well care where we spend our money and not blow us off as suckers we treat our furniture with respect and that well treat us like we are not suckers that are trying to just a buck for them sorry but we had a bad a bad time there dont think we can recommend anyone buying there .buyers beware ,wish it had been better no guarantees ....

First of all , these 5 star reviews must be fakes. Because If It were possible to give these scam artists any less than 1 star I would. I went into this store FULLY educated about furniture, and the different types of leathers out there. Top Grain Leather & Bonded Leather are 2 TOTALLY different things. They try to pass off their particle board & laminate as REAL wood. Not to mention I live in Cocoa, so I called their store to see if something was in stock before I went down there and they told me YES , So i rented a truck and paid some help to come down with me, and than they want to say "FIRST COME FIRST SERVE! SOMEONE JUST BOUGHT THAT" while another salesperson said that in fact they would have to order it because they dont keep that set in stock.. The more I looked around and was fed lies I knew I couldnt put my money there... I mean yes the prices are CHEAP but so in the furniture...its CHEAP. So you do get what you pay for.

I moved to Florida in January 2016 and I needed to furnish a 2 bedroom apartment so Google directed me to American freight furniture. So I drove over with my wife on a Wednesday afternoon they let us browse with out bothering us we found a bedroom set really nice overstuffed leather sofa and loveseat 2 end tables coffee table mattress and box spring they took money off the price of the total bill to help out with shipping cost them just when the experience could not get any better they had it at my door the next day at noon on Thursday I will go there always dont listen to the negative people you guys ROCK!! I love my new furniture and your fast delivery and the fact your prices cant be beat overall experience was over the top good thanks for a fabulous buying experience..
