I purchased Silestone Countertop from Home Depot during their 10% off sale. In hindsight, I should have just paid the extra money and purchased through Lowes. From the start, I couldnt even PURCHASE the counters without calling national customer service because it had to be purchased through the Kitchen Department. There was consistently one person there, or no one because they were on lunch. I was even told they didnt have time for me, and to try back sometime next week (maybe Thursday). Keep in mind this was SUNDAY. I still purchased from them with the promise my counters would be installed in 3-4 weeks. The template was done within 4 days. That was the only part of my entire purchase that went well. After the template, I had to call the store multiple times to be able to pay for the additional fees. There again was no one in the kitchen department, so another person finally agreed to take my credit card and call the fabricators. I called multiple times to confirm this occurred with no response. I was told a week later my countertop was in fabrication and would be ready "early next week". Over a week after this promise, I called AGAIN and could not reach anyone. I then received a return call today saying they would call the fabricators to schedule with me. The fabricator cannot schedule installation for another 2 weeks, well beyond the promised time frame. As this voids my contract, I am hoping I can just be done with Home Depot and never use them for anything again. I truly believe these issues are limited to the Longmont store, but why drive to another Home Depot to give them your business?

A low-quality, center, wooden support post on my king-sized bed was broken by movers. I decided to fix it myself, and to improve the structural integrity of the bed. I had a general idea of what I wanted to do, but no set plan. Two, count em, TWO gentlemen spent a total of an hour helping me to map out my repair strategy and to gather all of my supplies. We decided to go with metal supports, since the wood didnt hold up. Home Depots corporate offices will no longer allow employees to cut metal, because it can damage their equipment. One of the men said, "Tell you what. If you go buy a cheap hacksaw and bring it back to me, Ill cut the legs for you." Now, THAT, my friends, is excellent customer service! Lovely, gracious gentlemen who went above and beyond to help. My bed is downright BIONIC, now! (I also have strict instructions to go back and watch Doctor Who from the Christopher Eccleston years-Doctor #9. Firing up Netflix in 3...2...1...)

WARNING! Do not buy an extended warranty from Home Depot since they do not honor it! We purchased a Duet washer and dryer in 2014 plus a 150ish dollar 5 year warranty. A part in the back of dryer broke and they will not fix it. They say that the part in the drum is cosmetic and they will not fix it, well without this cover plate that has broken off in place where it belongs, the dryer will destroy the clothes that are being tumbled because the cover was covering sharp pieces of sheet metal in the back of the drum near the steam nozzle. They also said if they send a tech out to look at the dryer and the tech says that the part is only cosmetic that they will send a bill for the technician. Home Depot you have lost a customer for life. I have spent tens of thousands of dollars at your stores over the years but no more, I am done with you.

This was my "go to " store for a very long time. Today Ive decided its my "stay away" store. I purchased a portable swamp cooler yesterday and discovered it had been previously sold, had parts removed, then re taped and put back on the shelf for an unsuspecting customer such as me to buy, take home, unpack and discover all of this. The burden now belongs to me to return and get my money back. Seems to be a recurring issue at this store, as this is not the first occurrence of this for me. My time is valuable to me and Im simply done with Home Depot taking it from me because of their shortcomings. Saying "were sorry" doesnt fix my having to drive 20 miles each way, wait in line and change weekend plans to get my money back. Today I did not even get a "were sorry" statement. Just a request for explanation on why I was returning it.

Purchased a washing machine and asked to have it delivered and installed at a rental in Boulder. Linn Star, the worst delivery company ever, didnt do it because they claimed the water for the supply wasnt shutting off. When a plumber looked at it to replace the valve, he said they simply didnt try hard enough to shut it off. Not only that, they removed the door to fit the washing machine in, and they didnt put it back on correctly, it wouldnt even shut. So I had to fix it myself. Lastly, they took out the drier to get the washing machine in, and when they left they didnt even put it back. Worse service ever. Home depot said it wasnt their problem.

I have been going here for 15 years. I place an order to be delivered and got the run around all day long on when it was going to be delivered. I told them there is a narrow alley, I call all day as no one calls me with a time. They should up 6 1/2 hours late and with a semi that can not fit down the ALLEY.. No one again calls me to tell my what will happen next. I call again and they say oh, we think we can get this delivered to you two days from now. Talk with the manager. What would you like me to do she says- Ah, deliver on time perhaps...... OH MY GOSH!!!!! Stupidity and a waste of my time and life - Hello Budget - Hello Lowes - here I come

Im actually ambivalent with my feelings of this particular store after reading the reviews for it..? You got some good, some bad. Im tired of getting the run around and when employees are standing around dickin around and the second they see a customer they all split or just plain dont wanna deal with "it"....? Sometimes there is not anyone at all for a long while to get assistance. Dont even try the phone system for appts, or quotes, big run around there...thrice or more transfers. What difference will this review make..? not much. By us not going there anymore is not really a big loss for this company.

I had a somewhat terrible experience today when I came in to buy some wood. One of the employees in the back near the saw was helping me cut wood and was extremely rude and impatient with my questions. When he stacked the wood back on my cart he did it in such a way as to where the wood fell down and hit me in the head. After all that I was grabbing some 2x4s and a staple in the wood slashed open my finger! Would have given one star but the lady who checked me out was and nice.

I called this location to see if they carried a buddy heater to compare it to lowest prices was transfered without being told I was, to a lady who seemed very angry and was agressive with her greet. I asked about the heater she cut me off before I could finish and said they didnt carry that so I proceeded to ask if they carried any portable heaters and was cut off before even finishing my question. Would not recommend calling.
