Only 3 stars. Ive shopped at this store for a decade and a half. Ive always enjoyed the amazing, friendly, knowledgeable customer service at this particular store. For the first time, I ran into an employee with ZERO soft skills. Rude. Bothered by a customer. Couldnt take it upon herself to push the items I purchased by across the counter to make it easy to pick them up. Too involved in the conversation with the next cashier over. Couldnt crack a smile. The final straw was, she actually had to look over her nose to even see me. (I am short so you kinda have to look down, but she couldnt be bothered to drop her chin.) If this is the way of the future for customer service here, I can find other places to shop.

Have been going to this neighborhood Ace for years. 5 stars for them being stocked with everything you need. I used to go with disassembled parts and ideas and have knowledgeable handymen and women to brainstorm repairs and improvements. But they have massively re-staffed in the last few years and is now there are only a few left that appear to have even wielded a hammer. A few old timers are left but their hours and days have been drastically reduced. All are eager to help but few have a clue what you are asking for and often are unaware of the sales items or even basic cash register operations. It is a shame So overall a 2 star.

Their 20% off for Charity is a joke... I made a purchase right after they opened 8/4/2017 and received the 20% off and received a bucket. I took one item back for exchange to smaller size same price. They refunded my purchase for the larger size and at the 20% off and charged me the full price for the other product. When I asked for the 20% because it was just an exchange, they said I would have to bring all the items back and purchase them again to get the 20% for the bucket charity. They lost a customer today that has used them for years.

Great selection and staff! Been going to Orchards Ace literally for decades now.. and the management must pick great people and instill a good customer focused attitude because everybody that Ive ever dealt with there is the best. Great selection of items and experienced staff have always helped me find creative solutions to my home and auto fix it problems. It literally is my favorite store in Loveland, with MotoAdventure Kawasaki running a close second :)

Gun store staff friendly, no pressure, low key, no Rambos or politically bent rude, sneering, judgmental, nasty, unhelpful nut cases like the store around the corner. Mike was straight up on price advice. For my choice of a hot selling 357, the price was best in town as well as neighboring Greeley, Ft. Collins and Denver big boxes. Support local! Ill be back!

absolutely the best store in loveland. and i complain about a lot of stores. QUALITY, QUALITY, QUALITY folks. you know you cant get that anymore. but you can at ace. and rare things that stores used to have but dont anymore. a true modern day general store. and the employees are also great, and the best in loveland.

Always thought "big box" stores would be better value and quality...boy was I wrong. These guys not only know their stuff, theyll help until you feel like you know it well too. Friendly, knowledgeable, hard-working...this just begins to describe Orchards Ace. Will always go here first from now on.

A very handy Ace with friendly and helpful Staff. They actually have stuff that the big-box store did not... i.e. a replacement fused-switch for a furnace. Id rather pay a buck more here rather than have to hike around the deepho or blows and be humiliated when they expect me to check myself out.
