I have been to this ACE 3 times and every time I got the impression I was a nuisance just being in the store. On my most recent trip I witnessed the bushy bearded staffer give an 80 year old a hard time about buying a pourable version of liquid wrench... The same guy that wouldnt help me locate a specific style of light bulb. There is also a younger guy that is unhelpful and could give an s*** if you got what you were looking for. Go to the ACE on 9th street for better selection and way way nicer staff. I am confused by the current Google rating, it is definitely skewed or dated. BTW... the old man incident prompted me to finally review this place.

I have been in here at least 20 times in the last three months since I purchased my house. They are always helpful, give me good input on what I need, and Im in and out pretty quickly. Sometimes the staff seem a bit tired or worn out and arent super "chipper", but who cares? Im not at my job either, I just want someone who can help me and get me in and out and on my way as soon as possible. I look forward to this being my local place to pick up what I need for my home projects.

Went in store looking for a very common drill bit. When I asked where they were located I was told they did not carry that particular item so I went with the guy to the section where the drill bits were located I found what I needed. Then when I was given the wrong price the employee insisted it was correct when it was not. I then had to show them the price and explain to them why it was equal to another and not the more expensive one. Left store very disappointed

I work for an apartment complex down the street from this location. Our company has accounts at a lot of the Big Box hardware stores, but they just cant compete with the customer service and helpfulness of this ACE location! I have always been pleased with how quickly they can get the job done too! It is a great part of our neighborhood.

These are great people. They go out of their way to help you find what you need. They are in the middle of a great neighborhood with a lot of old houses and finding parts for those old houses can be tough. Whether its a particular screw or bolt or a particular tool thats needed they will help you find it. I highly recommend them.

My boyfriend and I have taken so many trips here and they are SO helpful and friendly. I personally go in there always on an errand for my boyfriend and never know where items are. I ask for help every time and they help me every time. Grateful they are so close by and so wonderful!

Great neighborhood shop. They carry lots of older style plumbing and electrical things for all the older houses around here. The staff is very impressive with their knowledge of plumbing, paint, and electrical. They helped me through my entire kitchen remodel.

I had a good experience here. They were helpful and were able to immediately provide me with the paint brushes, stepping stool and paint tape that I needed. It is smaller than other Ace stores, but I had a good customer service experience.
