We had a great experience with Matt at Performance Bicycles. He helped to take the time to look up multiple frame sizes for my wife to make sure that we got the correct fit for her Mountain Bike and found the exact color she was looking for. The staff at Performance Bicycles located the correct size and then worked hard to build the bike up from the box while I waited, so that I could surprise my wife with the bike the same day! Matt really took the time to answer all of my questions and helped me to really make a good informed decision. I was so please with the service I will be going back today to purchase another bike. I was pleasantly surprised at the great service and will continue shopping at this location.

Worst customer service. Just walked out. We were in the store for 15 mins and not a single person came to ask us if we needed any assistance with choosing a bike or if we had questions. They were busy doing some service stuff and didnt Iook up until we were walking out the door. Yes you could argue I could have asked for help but after 10 or so minutes of pulling out bikes and such on our own I figured they didnt want to help anyways. Not sure how they think customers are supposed to get the second and throw row bikes down on their own since they werent willing to help. Never going back there!

I have been a customer at this store for around 4 years. They used to be great - they are now consistently TERRIBLE. Customer service is now predictably bad and actually RUDE in most cases. Their repair guys are worst of all. My LAST (and I mean LAST) experience with the repair shop prompted me to take the time to get a google account just so that I could warn others NEVER TO GO TO THIS SHOP. I most recently had to return my bike 3 TIMES for the same issue and each time they kept the bike 3-6 days longer than they said. Problem still not fixed correctly. AVOID THIS SHOP!

I have been to several bike shops around the valley. Rusty is a great guy. I find that bike shops are not your friend unless you are there every day or spend a boat load of money. I know its not the "local bike shop" because it is a national chain but it still is the local shop for me. However they are still very helpful and friendly. I have not really dealt with the service guys, but they have always answered what ever questions I have had without being rude like others claim.

consistently unfriendly...maybe they have too much business. Even with red tag sales, I would not go back. On my first and last visit here, I explained I had been waiting as they took others who came in after me. The told me to wait and continued to take others. On the phone, I asked for the price on a child seat. They responded they were not even open. Suggestion: dont take the call. There are so many lcoal bikes shops with good service, why would people keep coming back here?

I went in needing some tune-up work done, what I got was Gods gift to bicycle shops. The staff was extremely helpful with their ideas, and suggestions for performance issues. They turned my mountain bike into a single speed, tuned it up, and had me done and paid for within an hour. It was brilliant. Kyle, one of the bike mechanics, was outstanding. This place will forever more be my first go to spot for anything bicycle.

The review below from Mr. Jackson was most certainly NOT my experience. Labor, tube and slime: $20 and change. I called a few shops in the area, AFTER I made the purchase and found that I got dinged a bit, even after they GRACIOUSLY took off $2 on the tube. Not a fan. Try Dominics in Tempe: The very best in town.

The staff have been incredibly helpful and friendly. I have a new road bike and Branson has shown unbelievable tenacity in fitting me to the bike. Has not made me feel bad for coming back, more than once I might add, to get the bike adjusted. Wonderful attitude. Great customer service.

The older staff are RUDE! They can learn about customer service from the young staff. When you try to tell a customer to go someplace else for the same service you provide, You sure have grate customer service skills.

Big Shout Out to Mike in the Scottsdale shop. He spent a 1/2 hour yesterday answering all my questions on work stands and MTB shoes. I learned a lot in that 1/2 hour and ended up ordering online. Thanks!

Went to the store this morning to have a flat tire repaired. Done while I waited for $13.90 including labor and tax, and the technician refused a tip. Cant get much better than that.

They tried to charge me 10.99 per wheel on a baby srunner for labor, plus the full retail for the tube. Total cost $63 plus tax and the runner is $100 to buy a brand new one.
