I took my mountain bike (not purchased from them) in to see if they could resolve problems with the gears not shifting properly. This bike has not shifted correctly after the second day of ownership, despite many trips to bike shops trying to resolve the problem. Eli, in the bike shop, asked me a lot of questions trying to isolate the times the bike didnt shift correctly or would just hang or skip gears at random. I left the bike for 2 hours and, when I returned, he asked me to test ride it. The shifting was perfect, smooth and precise. I had the biggest grin on my face riding around. I cant wait to hit the trails in the morning. Eli is awesome. The entire staff at the shop was super nice and loved to talk bikes and answer question. Getting repairs is most often an unpleasant experience, but not this time. Oh, I almost forgot to mention that the charge for repair and parts was extraordinarily reason. Id give them 6 stars if that were an option. MGT

I do not know if they switched employees or if I just went at a different time from the other reviewers, but I found this place to be great. The first time I bought a bike there, they helped by explaining the different types and which one would best suit the type of riding I was hoping to get into. They pointed out the advantages and disadvantages of specific ones that suited my height and my price range (something a different store had trouble with, saying that I absolutely needed a $700+ to ride a few miles to school and work). After a few months, I found that the bike I bought did not work with my neighborhood: bad roads with too thin of tires. I took it back into this store and swapped it with a road bike, no questions asked with no extra fees. Overall, the quality and service was great, and trading in was a breeze. The only qualms I have with them is that their selection is a bit small.

Ive been in this bike shop several times and have always been helped imeadiatly and professionally. They have good prices and their mechanics are top notch. They are a big chain store and that comes with some positves and negatives. The positive being they have good purchasing power so they really do have great deals on good bikes and accessories . The negative being the employees arent also the owner as most smaller bike shops are so you dont get the truly personal super friendly feel you get at a owner/operator shop. I prefer to save my $$$ and shop at performance then go pet my dog for that "over friendly" feeling.

Went in to get my brakes serviced they did it for free with the purchase of the Lubricant, it was awesome this has always been a usual for me this shop truly cares about the cyclists and people just maintaining bikes on their own they dont care about just the money. A guy with some Ray-Bans was just talking to me because I am interested in buying a Fuji again but just not right now I am going to keep the bike I have until I decide to sell it. Either way, the customer service was amazing they knew I was a return client because I went to Tucsons location frequently when I lived there and Ive always felt welcomed.

Ive been in and out of the shop several times for small things. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I took my bike in for a spoke replacement and wheel true last week because I am far too lazy for any kind of real maintenance. The staff was friendly, the estimate on when it would be done was accurate. Theyve recently started a riding club on Saturday mornings. A staff member rides with each group who also advises on maintenance and gives tips on general upkeep. There is no sales pitch and it is a blast.

Walked in- no greeting. Milled around for nearly 30 minutes- no greeting. Looked intently at several items- no greeting. Walked out without a purchase and went to the box store a few miles down the road- Sport Chalet- where the treatment is great although the selection is limited. Oh, and no "thanks for coming in either". All the time I spent in the store, I was within a few feet of store personnel on at least 4 occasions. Too bad...the selection is pretty good, but who needs this type of atmosphere? Avoid.

Ive been here twice now. First time I blew a flat and they replaced it with no labor charge. And they gave me new pedals for free. The second time, my bike seat was stolen outside of my work. I explained my situation to them and not only did they throw together a used seat and post for me to get home, they also gave me a quick safety tuneup to my alignment and brakes at no charge. These guys price time and time again how professional and courteous they are, and I will never go anywhere else for my bike needs!

Excellent customer service, Elijah was a great service technician and helped me get the broken down old bike I brought in back in shape so my son could ride it to school. He explained every detail of what it would take to repair the bike, he gave recommendations on new parts and was extremely helpful during the whole process. I picked the bike up today and was amazed at the quality of their service. Very happy and will do business again with them soon. Thanks again!!

I bought my bike there and took it in for service. Their service warranty isnt what its all cracked up to be. When I bought the bike, I asked for an explanation of the warranty, he acted like I was asking for the impossible. He was only interested in selling me accessories. Ill never go there again or recommend them to anyone. Customer Service is not one of their strong suites.

Bought a Schwinn Voyageur 2 years ago. Overall good shopping experience. Recently went back to get a tune up. Associate Kenny was professional and very nice. Excellent employee. I decided to get some riding shoes and pedals. Manager Joel took several very painful minutes to teach me how to engage and disengage the shoes from the pedals. Their customer service is beyond 5 stars!

This shop has superior customer service. We discovered the shop yesterday. We had a wheel problem. Not only did the shop help us out, but it helped my grandson put his bike back together again after we encountered a problem mounting the wheel properly. We walked out completely satisfied with a bicycle that worked as it was designed. Great job guys. Thank you.

I was passing through PHX on my way to Tucson for a bike camp and discovered that my rear wheel was out of true. Every nearby bike shop I called couldnt get to it for a couple of days. Performance said bring it in and their mechanics could probably look at it while I waited. They did and I was on my way in less than a half hour. Good guys. Great service.
