Yesterday I called Papas to make an appointment to bring my new lawn mower in to be looked at to see why it wasnt starting. The gentleman told me to bring it that afternoon to look at it. He was very pleasant. When I got there at 12:30 the ladies said he was at lunch and offered to take the lawn mower because they couldnt tell me when hed return from lunch. I told them I had some other errands to run and would be back. I ended up coming the next morning at about 8:15. The girl who came out to help me unload the mower had on a Wes Tec Shirt. We took the lawnmower in and I went in to talk to the person I believe was the mechanic. He wasnt very communicative and was busy. I waited in the lobbey area, where now another girl was. The two girls were not busy and no one else was in the office, so I asked them if they knew how much longer it would be before the mechanic could look at the machine. They were not friendly at all. They did not know how to greet me, the customer, they were not helpful, and I felt as though I was bothering them by asking this question. The girls attitudes just continued and become worse, so I told them to please just get my lawn mower and I would leave. The mechanic now came out and I explained that the girls were rude and displayed no customer service skills. He became defensive and told me to just get out and to take the lawn mower with me. He told the girls to not help me load it even though I had helped the girl with the Wes Tec on her shirt unload it. I told the man that I had read the reviews and they werent good and now I understood why. He said that I was prejudging them and that if I didnt leave he would call the police. At no time did I raise my voice or become hateful. I told him that I hated to see a small business not do well because of poor customer service. He said the one girl hadnt clocked in. I did not know that. She was rude, disrespectful, and behind the counter. She could have easily said that she hadnt clocked in and had the other girl answer my questions. I cannot rate them on their ability to fix the machine. Customer service skills is important. Just to be pleasant, greet people with a friendly hello, ask them to sit down, and let them know that you will be with them in a few minutes. Thats all that needed to happen. There are so many people in this world who do horrible jobs. When you have a job, you are fortunate and when you operate any business you are dealing with the public. They were going to call the police on me for telling them they have poor customer service. I wasnt rude. I wasnt loud. I simply said what I felt about those young ladies. I left in mannerly way. They could have said, "Im sorry you feel that way, but we really try to work hard for our customers." Let me help you put your lawn mower back in your car, especially sense you helped my worker take the lawn mower out of your car. The police? Poor police...they have criminals to worry about and not complaining customers.

I had the person (John) who seems to be the only lawnmower person, to my house once. When I called back, as usual, they always tell you a time and a day to speak to John (?!). I called back. When I explained who I was and where I lived - he told me I lived in MEXICO! He asked what I wanted and I launched into a full explanation of all of the maintenance I desired and the two repairs. After I was finished, he THEN tells me that he is bad at taking notes...could I please leave him an email!! Of course, repeating everything I just told him! I waited a week and heard nothing. I attached my original email, and sent another email to him asking if he would at least have the decency to reply and tell me whether he wanted the job or not. I also made a point of calling Papas and asking if John worked on his own or if he actually worked for them. He works for them. And he totally ignored me. I imagine they do not care about business, repeat business, and I even told him I had someone else that wanted to have him repair their mower. Both were Poulan ride mowers. Obviously, I got someone else to do the work. I think it is terrible to simply IGNORE a customer. If you do not want the work...tell me. If it is so far that you call it MEXICO - then only advertise that you service specific areas. I would not use them if they worked for free!

I wish I could post a video. I took my sons fisher price 4 wheeler in for warranty work and received horrible customer service from the start at the front desk. After a week and no word I called to check in and it had not been looked at. Another week went by so I called again and it still had not been looked at much less paperwork completed for fisher price, parts ordered or any work done on it. I said maybe I needed to pick it up and take it elsewhere and the lady, full of attitude, said they were the ONLY repair center (later I found out this is not true). So I said I would need to call fisher price to file a complaint and she said "go ahead and do that." I called fisher price, who said they would email the business. Finally, three weeks after I dropped it off I receive a call to come pick it up. I was told "the 4 wheeler goes forward, backward and stops, nothing is broken and so nothing was fixed." Well it doesnt go forward (this is where I wish I could insert a video), it doesnt go backward because there is no reverse option on this particular 4 wheeler but it does "stop", well mostly because it doesnt go in the first place. So they got one of the three right!

Had insurance thru Walmart on a bike I had and it was already inconvenient since 20 mile away from my house but I digress I went for a replacement of a bottom bracket and a spoke replacement had to wait 3 hours out there cuz it was supposed to be a fast job, they apparently fixed it and charged me for the spoke 11 bucks which is whatever but I accidentally gave him 10 and soon after he was like you can keep your dollar if you dont want your receipt and I was uh no here the freaking dollar give me my receipt so that was shady already but soon after it made the same noise it did which shouldnt if my bb was fixed so I took it to a closer shop and found out all they did was tighten the bb and messed up the threading due to the bb forced in there making the bike useless unless I buy a threadless bb but that would of been avoided if they replaced it instead of jamming it so the new bike mechanic advised me to call Walmart and soon after I told them what happen I found out any part except Tubes can be replaced so they ruin my bike and made me pay for it but good thing for Walmart they gave me a check for my bike so avoid these guys there a joke.
