I would never come back to this bike shop again. Bad experience!!! My bike was needed some tune-up. I figured, I would take the bike to this shop since they sell the same brand as my bike. High level of confidence did I have...I took it in early Monday morning. The employee told me the bike wont be ready till Thursday. He wrote down my number and he said he would give me a call. Thursday came and I was waiting for a call...no calls. I finally called around 3pm and talked to the owner and she said ITS READY TO ROLL. So I came and rushed to the shop. In my surprise, they replaced my rear brake-pads without consulting me... (I do have new pair brake pads at home you know). I didnt argue about it...I just said "its fine". It was only $15 added on top of the $125 tune-up. I rode the bike the next day Friday afternoon with my buddies. As soon as I was pedaling to go up hill, the back derailleur was shifting hard back and forth on gears, the chain derailed a few times. Finally I told my buddies that I cant continue and ride this piece a @#@$...if I do, it might ruin my chain and all that. I called the shop and the phone was just ringing. I drove to the store and got there 6:30pm. I just missed them. They were closed at 6pm that day. If they would have an answering phone system that would tell the caller their business hours, I would have known that they were closed already and didnt bother to drive there. Saturday morning, I came back to the shop and I waited in front of the shop till it opens. The owner showed up. She just looked at me and didnt say anything. Luckily, there was a young high school kid that works part-time at the shop that took time to speak with me. The kid took the bike inside and hung it on the repair stand. The owner came to him and asked "Whats wrong with that?" The kid was able to fix it. He was very apologetic...but the lady owner. She didnt talk to me at all...not even "Sorry for the inconvenience...our tech didnt do a good job." I figured what for? Its her rights not to speak with me because she already got my money. I didnt go ballistic about it...its not my thing, besides the kid was able to fix the bike anyway. I just went out the door and gone on my way. Happily, I was back on the trail the next day and conquered the 20miles South Mountain trails...thanks to the kid name Cody. Bottom line is I would hire the kid "Cody" to handle the repair but not AZ Cyclery!

Needed an LBS close to home to start a relationship with. I have been here a few times and they are always helpful and friendly. I am just getting into serious riding and they hrlp without being pushy. On advice of an avid cyclist froend and many articles I got a bike fit from Rey. It is a bit pricy but no more so than anywhere else. I was very happy with the time Rey spent with me. Measured everything and boy did we change a lot. So far so good. It was on a Wednesday so when it was over i got Pizza with the guys coming back from the every Wed ride. So a great way to mert other bikers and get tips. In fact everytime I go in I end up meeting someone else from the area. My Strava friend list is filling up. Look me up if you ride in West Valley. I have never been sold on a better bike or expensive accessories even though I hinted i might need a bigger frame. Rey said this was fine and maybe 3000-5000 miles down the road look into the next level. Clearly AZ will be my first stop on that search. In the mean time will be getting a mountain bike soon from them to take advantage of so much dirt in White Tanks and Estrella areas. Give them a shot. Wont make you feel like you know nothing and definitely know enough to help you pros too. See you on the road.

All I can say is AZ Cyclery is a really top notch bike shop. The people that work there are really friendly and even go out of there way to help you. I was just there yesterday buying some bike shoes and the employee that was helping me with my shoes made sure that my shoes were just right for me. Even though they were closed when I got there they were really patient and made sure I got what I was looking for and to me thats great customer service. Will definitely come back for all my bike needs, Also they did a great job on my bike thanks again A+++ shop.

Absolutely awful. I am an avid mountain biker who trusted this shop to true my wheel. I had lost a spoke on a previous ride (on the BCT) and needed the wheel for a ride the following day. I got the wheel back and not kidding, 5 miles into the ride the same spoke they replaced fell off. The wheel was not trued correctly the first time but I bit my tongue and figured it wasnt worth the argument in the shop. I would NOT recommend this place for bike repairs.

Just bought my enduro comp from Az Cyclery! I have never had such amazing customer service like that before. They hooked me up with tubeless, and set the autosag! Also I could not believe the price! Everyone there has such a friendly attitude towards everyone who walks in and that includes me, when I walked in. I am hitting White tanks competitive track after this!!! THANK YOU AZ CYCLERY!!!! I found my new second home!!!!

Rented a top-level, full-suspension 29er mountain bike to rip up and around the White Tank Mountains. Got a steal of a deal (half the price of the other shops offering this level of ride in the area) , and was provided with excellent, friendly service, and detailed knowledge of great Phoenix-area mountain biking trails. Ill definitely be back the next time Im in the area. Sweet!

I observed a potential customer come into the store. They asked questions and were answered by knowledgeable personnel. Their mechanics are top notch and went out of their way to assist other customers on their needs and expectations. They are not pushy nor rude. They give you a time when your bicycle will be repaired and are usually ahead of schedule. Fred Reyes Sr.

If youre in the market for a bike go here, the staff is great! The experience is excellent and informative. The only decision will be which bike do you prefer and they have a huge selection on all riding preferences. I recommend skipping all the big box stores and go enjoy a true experience in purchasing a quality product from well informed staff. Thank you

Ive been going to AZ Cyclery for several years. Theyve always been friendly and helpful and seem to always go the extra mile to help with what ever I need. I bought a Camber 29 there a couple years ago and the after sale service is as good as when they sold me the bike. There are other bike shops around, but this is always my first choice.
