Robert Jordan: Im sorry you feel the way you do about our desire to backup or product. The kit you are talking about is the 2Spring upgrade. Its easy to criticize a shop that is do as well as we are and we are doing so well because we actually care a lot more about your needs than any other shop in town can afford to do. Your upgrade, along with 17 others that need it, is waiting on the 2Spring kits to arrive from Cannondale. They have promised we will see them by the end of Nov. I will then be contacting Lefty owners that we have on record and doing the 30 min upgrade. Why other shops would tell you something different? Maybe because all but one other shop in the valley is refusing to do the upgrade inhouse and they are sending the Lefty back to Cannondale for a 30 to 60 day turnaround ... for a 30 min job that most shops are afraid to do. So, Im sorry we led you to believe there was nothing we could do. We just assumed you would not want to be almost 2 months without your bike. If you would like us to send your fork, please bring us the bike and we will do so today, if you prefer, over waiting until we can do the repair while you wait. I went into this store at 67th Ave and Thunderbird Rd yesterday specifically to see if they had a sunseeker EZ-3 USX HD( heavy duty recumbent trike) the man said he could get it from a distributor in CA. I asked what was the cost, he said he had to make a phone call then stepped in the back where I could not hear the conversation. He came back out to tell me it was just over $2,000 but he could get it for me for only $1,799. This brings me to the reason for the 1star rating. He did not know that I was an intelligent consumer and had already had it priced at 5 other stores...Southwest Bicycles, Bikers edge, Build a bike( Surprise), Landis cyclery and Sun cyclery all of these stores are in the Phoenix greater area and can get the trike from the distributor in CA. The problem for golden spoke.....they all priced it at $1,600 give or take a few dollars. "Golden Spoke" were intentionally going to rip me off for a couple of hundred dollars, I truly hope this review cost them more than that.

I stopped in March 29, 2017 right before closing. I was greeted, made to feel at home, while I explained what I wanted (I was interrupting closing time but they are genuinely great and I never felt hurried). Im not a bike rider but instead an owner of an African pygmy hedgehog. She has kept me awake in the past for 4+ hours at night. I showed up with her wheel and asked one of the gentlemen if they could wire her wheel for statistics. Several conferred, installed a small unit and off I went. First day of use I called the shop to make sure I was reading the computer right. Minnie had logged 9.1 MILES! 4hrs and 49 minutes of use. If I had this much service for a plastic hedgie wheel, I can only imagine how great their customer service is for bikes! Thanks to all the gentlemen who helped.

They can handle it all - from the basic family bikes on up to the high-end racing bikes. Truly, a one stop shop for everyones biking needs. Thanks for living up to your reputation.
