DONT take your bikes here. I called and described I had two bike 5-6 years old that needed new tires and a tune up. The person on the line said great, were running a special $40 special for a tune up thats normally $80. Hurry up and get in here by 5:00 tonight or tomorrow to get the deal. I loaded up the bikes, drove for 20 minutes, and wheeled them in to the service desk. The person behind the desk looked at the bikes as he walked over and shook his head. I said they needed a tune up and new tires. He quickly said, well were backed up 2-3 weeks before we can work on them. I quickly said no problem, were willing to wait and Ill leave the bikes with you. The excuse quickly turned to I dont have room, so just take them and go to another shop, they dont need a high end tune up. I then politely asked can I get a voucher for the $40 special, he proceeds to tell me well give you a $54 rate ... WHAT!!!!! Unless you have high end bikes, they dont want your business! Beware.

Ive been shopping at performance bicycle for quite a few years from when I lived in California and here in AZ. The prices have always been good. I havent had a lot of extra service done on my bikes. Most of the time I do that myself. Although, if my next bike purchase is one with disc brakes and more sophisticated shifters, I think Ill have them service it. I know their capable. What I have appreciated most has been the service Ive received in the sales process. The last few times Ive been to this store, its been the manager, Chris. This guy knows his bikes and everything else in the store you need to have a great ride. And what he doesnt know, hell say so and ask one of the other skilled technicians or staff or look it up online. I found him to be extremely knowledgeable and personable. If I had a retail business I would be doing my best to steal him away. Give him a raise Performance? HC

What happened?! Have been a customer since SuperGo -typically enjoy friendly sales staff-today called before arriving to verify service availability, special trip to store to find not only was he wrong(anyone can make a mistake however especially annoying after calling and giving an opportunity to verify) but the largest frustration was a service Dept. That acts like they hate their jobs-no greeting, sour looks, so sad- Lances team in chandler are ALWAYS helpful, chipper- seem like two different companies.

One of the worst customer service experiences ever with Eric in service department. Took my bikes and left after the experience. Seems I may have better luck at Chandler store, unfortunately forcing me 30 minutes away from my home to use a service I already paid for and am not willing to have done here after sour face ruined my day.

Came here to get my sons bike fixed. All the employees, front to back, were very friendly, and all seemed eager to drop what they were doing and help me with something as simple as fixing a flat tire. This place definitely won a new customer today!

Went in to pick up an order and had to actively look for someone to talk to when I walked in the door. I wasnt even acknowledged by an employee who was helping another customer. However, once I found someone the service was great.

Not for the amateur biker. Their service department tech was adamant that they "would not touch" my modest "Huffy" until a kindly older tech stepped up and offered to make the simple handlebars adjustment that was needed.
