I bought an LCD flat screen from this store and then after paying for it was told they did not have it in stock. I was assured that it would be in within a week. I agreed to wait for felt I had received a fair deal and good customer service, I was mistaken. A week later no call, I called them and was promised that a manager would call me. No one ever called me... I called again, spoke to a manager and was promised one more week, AGAIN, it did not happen. I called and spoke to a manager again and so on the story goes,... A MONTH LATER I told them to credit me and I purchased my LCD from Costco. NOT ONCE did this store hold to its promise of calling me back. I had to call them EACH AND EVERYTIME even though they promised to call me. Depending on who I spoke to the time line for my TV was different. Not honest and not good customer service. Do not go there...

I got great service, support, information, education, and the best possible price at the Tacoma Video Only. I did shop around (checked out the usual competitors). I definitely saved money. And I was pretty pleased to support a somewhat local and independent company. I highly recommend. Okay to add more here ... they really do have the best TVs at Video Only. They explained the difference between good HDTVs and cheap "Black Friday" Target special HDTVs. The TV I got (which is a really good UHDTV) was $400 cheaper than Amazon and Best Buy. So when I say I had a great experience, what I mean is that I literally got the best price, and they were super helpful and had lots of time to explain the technology. They didnt try to upsell me on a better quality TV than what I said I could afford. Eric and Allen are great associates. Thanks guys.

A decent place to check out, but unfortunately Video Only does not display model numbers. So if youve done research and then go into the store you cant really compare the prices. Also they dont really publish the features and specs of what they sell. Ive bought 2 TVs from them before and have been satisfied with the quality and price, and with the customer service okay. However the salesman who was helping me today was RUDE and condescending. He did offer a lower price but didnt persuade me and definitely not with this tone. I also work in sales and know you should not treat your customers that way. Lastly, since their commercials say they are all about pricing and YOULL BE SORRY, then Im going with the better price on Amazon and not going to support that rude salesman!

My wife went in to purchase a Christmas gift for me. When she did she said all associates acted as though they didnt want to help her and when they did finally the gave her incorrect information about her purchase. When I went back to return the incorrect SD card she was sold the employee who assisted me was very condescending and rude. When i asked how long it should take to see my return credit he told me not to worry about my $11 return, Ill eventuall see it and that I dont need to worry about them retiring off of my $11. I always hear all these ads for video only... After these two experiences I will never go back to one. I will stick with places that actually treat their customers well such as Costco or Bestbuy

Dont buy from video only until you read all the form and small print. When you purchase a t.v they will tell you there is a 30 day refund policy. What they dont tell you is that to get your refund you must have the box still sealed. If you open it all you can get back is store credit that is only good for one year. The salesman at the store did not bother to tell us that it is only a store credit refund he said yeah refund policy is 30 days circled it and went on with his conversation. I would recommend going to a more reputable store like costco or bestbuy when purchasing a t.v. There are a lot of reviews online that give good reasons why not to go there.

This business should be selling used cars. Their avoid, evade and double talk is of the lowest standard. I was led to believe that the amplifier and woofer were correct for my present system. They assured me that if it wasn’t that I could return it. The amplifier and woofer were not compatible and when I tried to return it I was treated badly and the equipment was difficult to return. They don’t return merchandise, they take it back and give you store credit. How do you tell a business is disreputable? Look at their website. Nowhere on the website does it have a "contact us" button. The last thing this business cares about is it customers!

Didnt actually think wed buy a TV there today- didnt think theyd have competitive prices, but we were very pleasantly surprised! We got exactly what we wanted at a better price than we expected (an LCD TV) and our sales guy (Erik) was super helpful without being pushy. Honestly dont have a single complaint, and actually we saved money (like half!) from Best Buy on the HDMI cable. More knowledgeable than when we talked to sales guy at Best Buy (where we planned on buying the TV). Worth stopping in, for sure. (Not dissing Best Buy, just using as comparison.)

I shopped around, and they really do have the best prices. Im really picky and had something specific in mind. The salesman that helped us (his name was Toby), was so knowledgeable. He helped us pick something that was exactly what I was looking for and for an EXCELLENT price. They can work with you on price. We are a family on a budget, and I felt like they really put the customer first. We bought our bluray player there, our TV, and TV stand. If you want to save yourself some time and money, this is THE BEST place to go for those things. It was awesome.

Absolutely the worst place to buy a TV!!! I would only go there to PRICE MATCH AND BUY SOME WHERE ELSE OR YOULL BE SORRY!! Purchased a TV and they told me that it would be there next day to pick up and that they would call me if anything. I patiently wait the next day until 630pm! So I finally call to see whats up and they tell me it wont be there til the next day and it will be sure thing in the morning. long story short they call me at 130pm! Yes 130pm!! And They said first thing in the morning! Just a horrible place.

horrible place to shop..idiots working there that DO NOT explain policies to you.once you buy a TV and you dont like it, it HAS to be replaced with one of their other ones. I found a much better deal at another store and ma now stuck with a stupid store credit i DONT WANT. I dont need stereo equipment or a camera. They tell you you have 30 day refund no questions, but it cant leave the box??? how do you know if you will like the product if you cant even try it!!! hope they all go out of business and starve. MORONS!

The moment when a promise of customer satisfaction becomes a marvelous reality. Today Video Only of Tacoma, WA held up to their promise of quality & customer satisfaction, and created a loyal customer through the process. The manger and sales associates at this location are very helpful and are indeed striving to provide excellence in their store. I currently sit in front of an astonishing television-- the Sony xbr55x850c to be precise-- in complete awe with 4k content and picture quality. Thank you very much.
