Cooperations, Walmart in particular is a disappointing con to the free market system. Sure they have lower prices then many small family businesses could ever afford to offer their customers. Realistically Walmart has many advantages for consumers other retailers couldnt dream to match. For example I can go to the local Walmart and buy a McDonalds Big Mac, pack of smokes, booze, get my blood pressure meds, cool shirt with a funny picture, shot gun shells, fancy tie, sandals, fish tank, table saw, balloons, chair, coffee mug, gold chain, pretty flowers, note pad, suitcase, diapers, computer and a gallon of ice cream for less money then I spent on the Big Mac. How can that be? You can bet if someone is making billions of dollars every year that theres others living in tents after twenty years of hard work. Agree/disagree? Perhaps Im being too hard on the Wally family? Maybe they need enough money for a yearly mission to Mars. Surely their helping the Chinese out of poverty? Wait, um...how do I purchase a bike for seventeen bucks, "rollback" retail price while the Wallwacky family and elites wipe their asses with "rollback" hundred dollar bills? I hear rumors about nine year olds working long hours daily to earn the means simply to sustain their lives. Hell I found two fingers stuck in the stitching on some fifty cents shoes in the clearance isle. When I complained the manager said, "Dont sweat it, the Chinese grow new fingers." While I was relieved to hear that its still not right. Anyhow I have too much time on my hands these days. Whats worse is that much of it is spent alone, minus TV or one of the other distractions designed to keep peoples minds busy processing nonsense. Life is short, this world is amazing and mostly were taught to renounce curiosity, blend in with the herd, find contentment in our jobs and chase after money believing the illusion that its something more than ink on paper. Each generation is getting buried deeper and deeper into a society built on ideas designed to contain and control the masses. I dont find this necessarily bad. The advantages are numerous. Its simply important for people to be aware of since human history tells us frightening times happen, leaders can be corrupt, unexamined cultures can lose morality and basically our amazing human race is our worst enemy besides toxic microorganisms... I guess. I dislike seeing the same stores, restaurants, etc in every city across America. The local store should be owned by the local store owner folks. Same as the local diner, book store, pub, auto shop, etc. We live in a large country and a store fifteen hundred miles away doesnt have any need for items that sale here. Local menus from the east and west coast should never match. Our differences keeps all the bases covered for those rare times that we unite as one people to defend our "free" liberties, our country and culture. Cooperations, like excessive laws and our over powered federal government, unbalanced media, central bank and the rest of the far reaching propaganda artists that trick us into potential traps empires greedily used for power since civilizations beginnings, theyre making us weaker. Im not an old man and all things progress. I have no missed "good ole days" per say. In fact the past is pretty messed up. To sum up I suppose Im just saying that I didnt vote Walmart king of retail. And if I actually try to make a difference, change some laws, erase mistakes our leaders have combined together over the decades I could. I promise not to tho if you assholes give me a job. So heres my application and I want one weekend day off on my schedule. Thanks.

I come to this Wal-Mart all the time for things on the way home. The last trip I had aggregated me so much. After doing some food shopping for the week we got to the front and of course like all Wal-Marts not enough cashiers. They had 2 regular cashiers and self check out. The self check out was full to the max with a line of 6 people waiting for their turn. We had a full cart of food and items so we chose to wait in a line of 3 people at a actual cashier. The cashier had a issue with a item and started to take a long time and we still hadnt moved. I had what looked like a manager walked up to us and asked if we like we can go to another register that line looks to be moving. Yet the other line had 4 people in line. We figured it would go faster then the line we were in now so we moved. As we moved over the manager then said hey o can save you $50.00 today if you apply for a card and I can take you over to a register and help you apply. We politely declined and said we cant thank you. She still followed us and said it wouldnt take that long to apply. We said no again. As we waited in the new line at the register the cashier was very heavy conversation with the person and took forever to get to the next person. She talked about her diet and then tried to tell the person how their stuff is unhealthy and her new diet she couldnt have these things. As were waiting in line I saw that manager ask other people about opening a credit and then could take them to a new register to help them apply and check them out. There was another group of managers all laughing and talking about how they got 9 credits cards so far. There was about 5 managers all laughing and ignoring the fact there was all the people waiting in line wanting to leave and go home and no a single manager even opened a new line. They all just stood in a circle, some leaned on the candy bin. And once we FINALLY got to the front of now pur second line the cashier could not stop talking about her diet again! When we was bagging our items she put our Capri-sun box in with our bread. Our raw Chicken with our shampoo. After waiting in line for 30 mins watching all the management just stand around I was livid. I know from working in customer service ONE of those managers had a backup till some where. And to boot they had the nerve to ask for a credit card application as I heard them talk about already having 9? And that they would be happy to help if I opened a card.. seriously? Thats things you say in your office or out of range of customers ears. Horrible service.. here is the pictures showing them standing around.

Im 36, and look it. I came in with my 34 year old wife and 3 year old toddler to buy household items and groceries for dinner. $70 later, the extremely rude checker refused to sell "Me, the purchaser" a pack of Negra Modelo (beer) because my wife didnt have her I.D. on her. My wife and child left the premises and I went back to grab some additional produce and a pack of Negra Modelo alone. While checking out at another check stand, another person came over and said I could not buy the beer unless my wife returned to the store to show her Identification. I will never shop at this Wal-Mart again! They claimed it was Wal-Mart policy and Ive been to numerous other locations for groceries, without having this ridiculous claim. I will never exchange my hard earned cash for product here again, and if it is indeed Wal-Mart policy as a whole, you have lost my business forever. What exactly is the statute of limitations of not selling to me because my wife was wearing workout pants without pockets? Hours, Days, Years? Do you need my 3 year olds I.D. too? I can provide a thousand examples that tear situational holes into this policy claim. Moreover, I can shop at one of your numerous, rational, competitors locations.
