Where do I start... I walked into the Apple store in Tacoma with my 3 best friends with a task that needed to be done. I had to some how make a video to show at my 5 month old daughters "celebration of life" . I felt bad for the person who was going to get us- we made an appointment and walked in and told them what we needed at the check in desk they said that we probably wouldnt be able to have somebody be able to tutor us on making the video and then we sat at the technical support area and waited. I broke it down to him of what my goal was and that I needed help. As much as he wanted to help me he sent out 2 other gentleman and they said that they were told what I needed and they were willing to actually help me make the video and burn to a CD so I can bring to the church. They spoke to each other and I sat with one of them - Jason. My sweet amazing Jason. He was shaking and really didnt know what to say in the beginning but I was fortunate enough to learn his story and it was his first day back from work from being in the hospital with his 1 month old. They had been concerned for her life through out the hospital stay and too meet me and have to do such a task I would not wish it on anyone. Not only did he help me make a video in remembrance of my daughter but he also changed my life. My support team "my three best friends" had not been leaving my side at any given point one was there until at one point they were all gone and the song we had picked for the video just wasnt working I looked at him and I asked him "do you have a song" he paused and he hesitated and then he said "Amys Song" by Jonathon David Helsor. We found it on I tunes and that was the song! And that is the song that is now my little Georgies song that helps me breath each day because "I open my eyes and saw what I thought was an angel dancing, she was a perfect child, and she looked at me and smiled and sang- Mama can you hear me Daddy can you feel me Im made whole Im at home Im dancing on the streets of gold Dont stop holding on. So thank you Apple Store for hiring an amazing employee and Jason thank you for touching my life.

We experienced the rudest employee ever in the repair department on Wed. 1/20/16.. He had bully behavior and gave no explanation for needing to drop off a laptop for repair with an appointment only. His short and cocky attitude emphasizing the policy of making an appointment to drop off a repair took my husband (huge Apple fan) by complete surprise (even though it was a simple request of needing a new key board and could have been as easy as putting a post-it note on the computer saying "replace keyboard"). This arrogant employee was not friendly, gave no explanation to help us understand (we would have been fine with a friendly explanation), he just acted contemptible about the rule and said we had to wait 3 hours to drop off the computer since we didnt have an appointment. (We had driven an hour to get there; the store was not busy and had employees milling around with nothing to do). The employee acted like a puffed up rooster when my husband questioned him about waiting 3 hours to drop off a computer that simply needed a new keyboard. My husband stormed out of there; it was all he could do to not punch the haughty, power hungry worker in the face. We will never step foot in that store again. We called the Kent Apple Store to find out their policy on repairs in case we needed to make an appointment before driving there ( in case they had Tacoma Apple Stores repair policy). The Kent Apple Store employee was super friendly and said to bring it in anytime to drop it off. If we needed to talk to someone about the repair, to be there before 5:00, otherwise to just drop off at anytime. That is what Apple Customer Service should represent. Never, ever should an Apple employee act haughty or rude. I hope this 30 or so year old employee who worked on Wed 1/20/16 around 4 in the afternoon in the repair area is discovered for acting superior and trying to intimidate customers.

Have my I phone for a month. When I came to fix the problem they was happy to offer me to fix it for few hundred $. As soon as I mentioned to the young lady about warranty she typed something and offered me to ship it to the company repair facility and wait 5 days to repair it. No more option to fix it in store. My next option was either have no phone for 5 days and get my phone shipped to me or take a loner phone and come back to the store and wait another few hours in line. Next, she got me a loner phone, it is different model and few times less memory capability. With a smile she told me about most likely not all info will be able to made to the loaner devise do to the smaller memory size. She offered other option, it was to take my broken phone and take it to another repair shop. Of course if some other shop open my phone it wont be covered by any warranty later on. After that some manager came to me and was trying to make me happy by offering nothing besides what I herd before. It was no way to substitute for exactly same loaner devise and she kept asking what she can do for me. After I told her about 5 times she can leave me alone and let me stay to the store I until I finish all the restoration on the phone she left me alone. So, I few of my friend have issues with recently purchased phones, so I can assume it turned into garbage quality nowdays. And customer service even worse! I almost forgot, wait time for technician to look at your phone normally between 1,5 hours to the 3,5 hours and they wont do much for you.

Ive been to this store a few times to buy something, fix something or walk about as the wife does her elaborate shopping. Now, Im shopping for a MacBook Air in my new area and I decided to read the reviews. After reading those reviews it peaked my interest in this location and write one myself. Every one of my visits have been the same despite the reasons to go in. The customer service was very friendly. Always came up to see if I needed help with a big smile across their face and eagerness to help. When I purchased my iMac they were semi-knowledgeable. Not going to hold that over their overall services. Someone has to start somewhere. Another visit was to fix my iPad Mini. As I walked through the door I was greeted and put on the wait list for the Genius Bar (whatever it is called) I waited for about an hour with my two boys (2 years old and 7 years old) They had a table with iPad for children which helped occupy their crazy minds and short attention spans. Once my time came they solved my situation within 15 mins and had me out their with quality services and smiles. Overall My experiences there have been very welcoming and friendly. Yes sometimes they seem to be in a rush or stressed, but theyre human not the robots everyone expects them to be. P.S. Apple products are above all the competition out there. Theres very few companies that have their own stores, sells their own products and can fix them as well. Most you have to send it in or take it to some computer repair store that will charge you an arm and a leg.
