Great bike shop! I went in looking for a hybrid commuter bike to ride between my apartment and campus. The gentleman manning the shop took a good half hour of individual attention to give me suggestions, let me test a couple bikes, and get everything I needed. He was polite and informative. There was a great selection at various price ranges. I looked up what the bike I bought would have been online and it was comparable. This is a great deal as it comes assembled and he put the accessories on also. Not to mention supporting a great local business! Thanks Bikes Unlimited!

The store was clean and well kept. It appeared that they had a good selection of bikes. I went to rent a bike and they told me they didnt have one in my size. I am 53. They didnt offer any other kinds of bikes or even seem like they were interested in helping me find somewhere else that could accommodate me or show me any of the ones they were selling. I had my credit card in hand and probably would have bought a bike if they even half way tried to sell me one.

Long story short, go to the other bike shop down the road. I came in to get a new wheel because my axle broke. They 1. didnt have my model wheel in stock 2. charged me $60 dollars for it, and 3. gave me a death stare when I later bargained for a student discount of 10%, saving me a whopping $6. Yes, their parts are professional grade, but everything is overpriced; the cheapest mountain bike is $330. For big spenders only and certainly not college students.

The staff were accommodating and friendly, and when they found out that my expenses were going to run higher than they had initially projected, they were willing to negotiate with me to reduce the price by a reasonable amount.

A great bike shop with staff well versed in every bike from entry level to expert. Good prices and excellent advice. Standing shop rides are well attended year round.
