Found this shop by accident while looking at the NCR trail path. Inventory and knowledge of the shop owner is amazing. I was met with a very warm greeting and felt very comfortable while looking around. No pressure and owners bent over backwards to help with several issues I had with my bike. Sure wish I had found this store a few months ago, It would have saved me a lot of money. Prices are average for a quality bike shop and does not compete with estores. They have the latest "gadgets" and being a gadget freak. I really enjoyed my visit there. Anyone looking for a good bike, good parts inventory reasonably priced and excellent service, Go to the Whistle Stop Bike shop. I will be going back many times. Great Place to shop!!

My husband and I have been in this bike shop a couple of times when we come up from MD to ride the trail. Both times the lady there could not have been more helpful. I bought a new TREK in Bel Air so I would have local support; however, I wish I lived near Whistle Stop because the whole atmosphere there is absolutely the best. Friendly, professional, helpful and just plain good neighbors. They know everything there is to know about bikes. I needed to put air in my new tires and there was no charge; and she checked out the tire after we mounted it correctly (it was on backwards). They also have some wonderful bike deals. Try it, youll like it.

We went there for bike repairs and bought two new bikes. Very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly folks. They new exactly what we needed as older bike riders We took the bikes for a test run before we bought them as this shop is next to the B & O bike trail. I would definitely buy from them again.

Very helpful people. I flatted out on a rental bike while riding the trail. I had run over a thorn. It was just my luck to be near this shop. They put in a new tube in no time at all, even though I think it was past their official closing time!
