Professionalism is what this bike shop is about. Unlike so many other bikes shops, like those named in other reviews here, this bike shop does not cater to the alternative biking/bike racer sub culture that most other shops do. Instead, this is more a family oriented bike shop (locally owned) that doesnt look down its nose at you if you dont race or arent into BMX. Instead they treat you like one of the family. Sure some of the staff are younger, but thats business in the hobby industry. If you dont like dealing with kids, then talk to the manager or even the owner who is pretty much always on site and more than willing to help and educate, no matter what level of cyclist you are. This shop is simply the shop that other bike shops are trying to emulate. Brightly lit, clean, and well stocked (I have yet to see any local shops with the selection of the Crofton Bike Doctor). This is the only shop I trust my bike with and have sent dozens of my friends, family and colleagues to the shop and all have found the same level of professional, courteous service one would expect of a non-cliche bike shop.

I was extremely pleased with the overall service I received this past weekend. I took my bike into the store because I was having issues with my tires. They checked my entire bike immediately and ruled out that any service needed to be performed. They fixed my seat and installed a bottle rack on the spot and did not charge me any service fees. The sales associates were extremely respectful and helpful. They made you feel at home and at no time, did I ever feel like I was a bother to them. I am terrible with names, but I want to say Fred and Jack helped me. Both had excellent customer support skills and extremely friendly and helpful. I cant say enough about them! I took my bike in for service because it was making a weird noise on the back tire. Rick took great pride in fixing my bike like it was his own bike. He even ask another co-worker (Ernest) to listen for the noise the bike was making to get another opinion on where they thought the noise was coming from. The atmosphere at Crofton Bike Doc is family friendly which at other bike shops you may not get at all. Overall he found the problem and it was fix same day. Great customer service. I would buy another bike when the time comes for sure. Thanks.

Just purchased a bike yesterday. The sale was over although they still gave me the sale price. I was measured so many ways to make sure we would be looking at a bike that was a good fit. This was important to me as I have blown out a knee before. We looked at and test drove many bikes till I found the one that was perfect. I picked out rear rack, water holder, and a bell and they installed them for me. And when I purchased the bike I found out that adjustments and tuneups are free for life! I recommend buying from here. Good people, good place.

Havent bought a bmx bike in over 10 years. Wasent sure exactly what way to go for my sons bike. The guy saul me at the door,dropped what he was doing and gave us his full attention. Bought a "sunday". He didnt try and pitch the most expensive thing they had even looked in the back for unassembled bikes for us.(because I couldnt make up my mind) Well worth the hour drive. Very knowledgeable and very pleased with Crofton bike doctor. Thank you.

Incredibly rude to my wife. "John" was completely incompetent and had no idea how to fix our sons bicycle. My wife told John she paid $1000 for the bike and John said she was ripped off! The bike was worth 1500! They had it for three months and did nothing except take a tire off! We took it to Bike Doctor in Lithium and they had it fixed and out the door in minutes, with a smile! I will never deal with Crofton Bike Doctor again!

I love these guys. Always professional, reasonable and great people selling awesome bikes and gear. If you have not been in lately, stop in. I thought I had everything I need because Ive been riding for years. They showed me these great high vis helmets. They actually look great and make you more visable to cars and other riders. Stay safe, have fun riding. My son will be wearing one of these helmets asap.

Nice, helpful folks but stupid expensive. Needed some cable housing quick and got gouged for $4/foot. Retail on amazon for same length of housing AND cable is half that price. Same for service shop - quoted me $20/cable to internally route. I bought my own park tool kit, did it myself and saved $20
