Dont come here if you need something other than a cell phone repaired, I guess. Had a broken Nintendo 2DS and saw on their website that they repair them, so I figured I would take it in after reading their great descriptions on their website. Their website makes amazing claims such as that repairs for the 2DS are "fast and affordable" and that the "prices depend on the extent of the damage". This was exceptionally enticing because I was hoping to find someone who would price competitively with the manufacturer since Nintendo wanted a set $65.00 for repairs. They also promise on their website that if they cant repair it, they "provide a cash or trade-in offer" or sell refurbished devices in store. Upon arriving in store, however, I was met with a much worse story. I was told immediately that the deposit just to look at the 2DS to determine the issue was $70.00, and then prices for the actual repairs went up from there (exceptionally more expensive than going to Nintendo themselves). I was then told that the 2DS was probably totaled anyway and that I should buy a brand new one. I was not offered any cash or trade-in offer and there were no refurbished units in store to purchase. So basically, I showed up under the guise of a great deal and good service and received terrible service and probably the worst deal Ive found anywhere so far.
