The US Postal Service should sell cell phones. The customer would have a better buying experience at a unionized, government post office than they would at the Monroeville Verizon location - and Im not exaggerating. My wife and I recently went to this location to purchase a cell phone for her. We showed up around 6:45PM on a Friday evening. By 9:30PM, she had a phone. Thats without shopping around. She told them exactly what she wanted when we were finally waited on, and it still took this long. She got a prepaid iPhone for $60 per month. After buying the phone, the case, the extra charger and the first months bill, I was out over $200 - which is expected. Its just unfortunate that it took our entire Friday night to make it happen. The phone worked fine that night and on Saturday. We did notice that they gave us the wrong additional charger which didnt work, but I wasnt going back anytime soon to get a new one. We were just going to cut our losses and move on. On Sunday, we were out running errands and the phone stopped receiving calls. She couldnt call out on it either. The automated system said that she had to add more money to the phone. Really? I called the Verizon store and they gave me an 800 number to call to get it fixed. Of course, it didnt work. Even worse, everything was automated. I grabbed the broken phone, drove to the Monroeville Verizon store, explained the situation and was told that they would put me into the kiosk but that it was a minimum 60 minute wait (so really 1.5 hrs minimum based on prior experience). I asked for a manager. The hostess lady went back to the back to get a manager. She came back out alone and told me that the manager said that I would have to get logged into the kiosk and wait like everyone else - and again that it was a minimum 60 minute wait. Wow. Honestly, I just want the phone that I just spent a lot of money on to work. I could see waiting if I was going to purchase something - but I just spent hours the previous Friday night here only to get a phone that didnt work. So I did what I think anyone who has an issue with this location should do from now on - seriously - I went outside the building, called the locations phone number and asked to speak with a manager. I talked to the manager and made him deal with me while I was on the phone with him. We werent getting off of the phone until I received more prompt assistance. If a store like this is not going to properly manage labor, then I would encourage customers to go outside the building, call in and make the manager spend his or her time dealing with you. You are the still the customer. I havent experienced this continuous problem at any other location but have multiple times with this one. Get it together over there Verizon - your customers are getting sick of it.

I went into the Monroeville store inquiring about IPhones for myself and my daughter. I had a sales person named Amber that assisted/blatenly LIED in my face! When she said they have to pull my credit, I told her that I was going to be applying for a home loan, and Ive worked very hard to get my credit score where it is, and I DID NOT WANT A HARD INQUIRY on my credit in fear that it would effect my score. She Assured me and REASSURED me that it wouldnt. Its a soft inquiry. Even went as far as to say how shes been an employee for years and has NEVER not ONCE seen a hard inquiry!!! I finished my application for my home loan today and went just to look at my score and THERE IT WAS FROM THESE LIARS!!! Cost me 22 points on my score, and COST ME MY HOME LOAN!! Dont deal with these liars! Theyll obviously do / say anything to make a SALE!!! and add insult to injury, the store manager, Joseph Best, trys to cover for their lying salespeople and acts stupid!! and wont do NOTHING for me, the consumer to rectify !!!! Thanks a LOT! I wont do business with Liars, so luckily I can return ALL THEIR CRAP!

today will be my 6th try to get a new phone everything i go there, there is a new rule. I have a Iphone 5 with a cracked screen. So when the big Iphone 6 deal was we went to see. non in-stock told to trade in online. So my friend gave me a Iphone 4 to trade in so I did and got $200 gift card. when to the store you cant use that to get a phone your update is not ready yet. cant do Edge do to you must have a phone in hand to trade in. they will not trade in my Iphone 5 with cracked screen. So i return with a friends Iphone 3 that is mint to trade in and cant trade it in because its not version phone. So we go home and pull out my wifes old Verizon phone cant use that its not a smart phone. so after paying $100 to have a screen changed in my phone Im hoping to finally get the Iphone 6 plus

I have been to this store twice to "edge up" my Galaxy S4 and my iPhone 5S. Both experiences were very good; I worked with knowledgeable folks across the board who were happy to help me get the device I wanted and also the right amount of data. By the time I left the store the second time, I had more data and better phones for less than my monthly bill had been with less data and older phones. I have been a Verizon customer for many years and I find they have the best customer service, both via phone and also at this brick & mortar location. The second time I went in to edge up a line, the sales folks knew me by name and greeted me very nicely. This afternoon Im headed in to pick up a new smart watch and I expect the customer service will, again, be stellar.

The absolute worst customer service! Was the first one in the store and got good service for phone, but when wanting info on fios (cable, internet) service i waited 45 mins for 2 sales people helping one customer in front of me and i finally gave up and left. Really,2 sales people for one customer, they completely ignored me. Also, i was so upset i called back to talk to a manger and after 5 mins of answering automated questions i was given a real person who asked the same questions and would not give me a manager without me giving my Verizon number and social security number????? I was not a verizon customer so had no number and she said she could not help me......lol.....wont ever go to verizon now!!!!!

This was a horrible experience. The sales rep told me there was a special for $20 I could get the phone and jet pack, when really the phone was free and I didnt need the jet pack. He also tried to put me on a more expensive family plan when I am just 1 person. He tried to add insurance to the free phone. Also told me I was gettjng a seperate camera for $120, when I got the bill the cam was $250. I returned it and the manager assured me she would fix the bill. That was 2 months ago. I have a feeling Im gona have to call every month. Horrible experience
