Whatever you do, do not buy a vehicle from Bowditch. We are extremely disappointed in the outcome of the service through them. They think they have done all that they could to make us happy, however, they have not. They are rude and completely unprofessional. When I spoke with a manager today, about the fact that they sold us a piece of junk, the manager said, "We did not stick a gun up to your head and make you purchase this vehicle." That was extremely rude and unprofessional. I spent tons of money on a warranty, and there is STILL issues with the car. Unluckily for me, I purchased the "best warranty I could buy." (WHAT A JOKE). Now, Im stuck in a piece of crap vehicle with a $25k loan, with loads of negative equity. They told me when buying this car that I could "refinance". Well, we brought up our credit score, but now can NOT refinance because of the "negative equity." We had not bought with a big dealership prior to this, and we trusted them. Even one of their own employees stated that they should not have sold us that truck. They act us though they have done so much, by fixing some of the problems....however, those problems are covered UNDER MY WARRANTY THAT I PAID FOR.So they did not go "above and beyond," as they claim they did. I have never felt like such a bother to a company, EVER. I highly doubt, even though I have a warranty, the new issues that were pointed out to me today will get fixed. Ive yet to hear from the actual person in charge over their either. They all just get on the phone with the GM and he relays messages. Not sure who that person is. And, I am sorry to Lauren, that I have to write this review, because she is the only person who cared at all to help us out over there....HOWEVER, There are many other places to buy a vehicle from. Save your self the headache, heartache, and MONEY!

Absolutely Horrible place. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. They are a bunch of liars. I was told via email this: "Im sure that my sales manager can get some what close to that number but hes not going to work a deal until you come in test drive the vehicle and know you like it. I just spoke to him again and he stated that we arent going to lose your business over pricing and is willing to work with you when you come in Saturday." So I came in and they offered me 5-6k over what I was asking for. I wouldnt even be made if they just said right off the bat that they wouldnt be able to meet my price. I even asked them from the start, "can you get any where close to this price if not just let me know now so we dont waste each others time". And then they had the nerve to email me the next day asking me how things were. I asked via email why did you lie to me. Then I get this response, "I do apologize for any miscommunication, I did say that my manager would get some what close to that number. I wont contact you anymore if you wish but we did figure out how the other dealer quoted you such a low price which was including all the rebates that you may or may not qualify for and took out the destination fee. Once you do go in to take advantage of their "low" price they will add back in any rebates that you dont qualify for as well as the destination fee. If you have any further questions feel free to email again."so 5 to 6k is close I guess in their mind. I strongly recommend to not go to this dealer.

When I originally went in to purchase a diagnostics on my vehicle, I was told that I needed to make an appointment for two days later because they wouldnt be able to look at it that day. No biggie. Came back on the day of my appointment, only to find out that my appointment meant nothing, and that it "would be quite a few hours before anyone could look at it." I was then offered a shuttle to take me back to work, to which I accepted. I was told to wait in the lobby and someone would let me know when the shuttle was leaving. 20 Minutes go by, nothing. I ask if the shuttle is leaving soon, only to find out the shuttle left without me. Getting in touch with the service department was next to impossible, and had to call the shuttle over 6 times to get them to come pick me up and take me back to the dealership. The diagnostic I received was 100% incorrect and was blatantly lied to about the condition of my vehicle. This caused me to purchase and replace parts of my car that did not need to be replaced, and has left me with an inoperable vehicle. Trying to get this sorted out now, but the individual that was in charge of my service order has not answered her phone or returned my calls, and the service manager "comes in at random times throughout the day." This has been an extremely frustrating experience and I feel as though they do not care about the customer unless they are getting a significant amount of money out of them.

I recently purchased a 2013 F150 XLT. I heard that Bowditch provided excellent customer service and decided to complete my new vehicle purchase there. Brandon, Dennis, and Carey worked hard to get me the best deal and that is exactly what they did. Initially I expected to be low balled on my trade in, but thats not what happened here. I got what I felt was an excellent value on my trade in based on what I was willing to accept, and to my surprise they even discounted what I felt was a modest amount on the price of the new vehicle that I was going to purchase. In the end I was there for less than the expected amount of time to complete the deal while being offered a beverage of choice. I went to the other Ford dealers in the area and was not very happy in the way I was treated initially, which led me to follow up with Brandon who was exceptionally patient with all of questions and the white knucle test drives I put him through. Ive been buying new vehicles over the past thirty five years and by far this was the best experience I had ever had while shopping for a new vehicle. Other thoughts; the new truck which is a V8 actually gets better than the rated MPG on the highway traveling 68mph which seems to be a sweet spot for 21.4 mpg. However the city mph is a bit lower mainly due to the fact that I have been getting into the V8 when challenged by other drivers. Just cant help myself...

I brought in my 2003 well maintained Grand Marquis just for a recall for a lighting issue to be fixed. All of the lights worked fine before we brought the car in except the issue relating to the recall. I dropped the car off at 9am and they didnt even start working on it until I came back around 2:30. Told me it would be done in an hour and they didnt finish until about 5pm. When they "finished" they told me not to use my high beams because they would cause some fuse to blow and that there was also a fuse missing so now my front left light doesnt work. The tech insisted that someone must have worked on the car and messed up the wires but we have not had any work done on the car in over 2 years but getting new tires and have of course had an inspection during that time AND my son just took and passed his driving test at DMV with this same car that they of course inspected before the test just 2 Saturdays ago. When I called back to the service center after speaking with my husband, the man that I spoke with was VERY rude and kept cutting me off saying it was close to 6 and he couldnt help me. He didnt even listen to all that was wrong with the car before telling me to just come back another day. We were actually considering purchasing a new car from here based on how our experience went because we need another and are expanding our family but we will NEVER purchase from Bowditch Ford.
