My husband and i drove from Richmond VA. too Madison motors in Madison Va ,when we arrived we were greeted by Luke who was very personable and welcoming. my husband had found a 2007 Eddie Bauer ford explore,this vehicle was beautiful inside and out, the drive was smooth and quite.I found this family owned business very affordable,with a great variety of inventory.My husband did have a small problem with the battery drying on the truck the next day,so he called the guys at Madison motors and they promptly called down to our local auto zone and purchased a new battery for my husbands truck all we had to do is go pick up.I personally felt these guys did a great job at standing by there product as well as making their customers feel valued.I must say that i was a bit concerned with my husband dealing with such a small company but after meeting these guys and having such a great experience would definitely recommend this family owned company. I needed a more reliable car. I had a tight budget and after weeks of being without a vehicle, we finally found a decent car in Madison. We drove up, keep in mind I already live 30 minutes from Charlottesville, and looked it over, test drove it, the guy told us the car was in good shape, even got a warrenty for around $30 dollars extra a month. I havent even had the car a year and the back brakes had to be changed, they sold me a car with a patched tire thats given me nothing but trouble, rust on the side, and now it wont pass inspection anywhere. The cars been in the shop 3 times in the last 3 years, and they, nor Toyota, notified me about an active recall on the airbag module. My aunt purchased a car from the same place. Didnt even have it for 5 years and the transmission blew. Also, a recall on her car. Never notified. I am beyond disappointed and will not be recommending going to Madison for any kind of reliable car, and trustworthy service.

Great vehicle, great price and the best sales experience at any used car lot. Ive been looking for a new vehicle since July and only saw a couple vehicles over the last few months that were almost what I wanted, but not quite. Then I found a listing on CarGuru for a Jeep Commander Overland edition at Madison Motors. The vehicle had everything I was looking for and the list price was almost $2,000 UNDER competitors prices for the lesser Limited edition with comparable mileage. I live a little too far away to get there after work before they closed, but my wife called ahead and Luke agreed to stay after 6 to show us the car. Even starting 20 minutes after he was supposed to go home, Luke was friendly, asked our kids names (and remembered them later) and showed us the car. No pressure, no impatience and he answered our questions then we took it for a test drive. Great vehicle, Great price and Great people... we were sold, and so was the Jeep.

I came to Madison Motors after having my previous vehicle totaled in a hit and run. To say the least, I was not especially looking forward to having to go through a car buying experience at that time, but the friendly, knowledgeable staff at Madison Motors made it easy and enjoyable. They carefully listened to my needs and wishes for a new vehicle and helped me to find exactly the car for me at my desired price point. I have been very happy with the car and have had no issues with it, mechanical or otherwise. I will DEFINITELY be using Madison Motors for any and all of my future car buying needs and have already recommended them to all my friends in family for when they are ever in need of a new vehicle. Truly could not be more happy with my experience there!

From my first contact with Davey via email to my daughter signing the paperwork for her Nissan Murano last weekend, this car-buying experience with Madison Motors (specifically with Davey) exceeded all expectations. Davey did some research and pointed out some differences between his vehicle and a competitors Murano we were looking at, and that made a big difference in our decision. Met Davey and his Dad last Saturday to work out the deal and they were both down to earth, honest and just good people in my humble opinion. We quickly came to an agreement on the sales price and my daughter left with a good car about an hour later. All in all it was a very pleasant experience, and meeting and talking with Davey and his Dad was really nice. We will be back!!!

Came to the dealership to inspect a "clean", and "rust-free" for a ridiculous amount. After looking at the pictures I figured the car must be in excellent condition after as stated on the cars description. I wanted to check under the car but they didnt let me use there lift which is understandable, but upon close inspection I found rust along the entire rear fender, and under the car.....with a sloppy paint job painted over the fender to hide it. Not only did they go $1,200 over the MAXIMUM Kelly Blue Book value assuming the car was in the best condition possible, it was badly looked after clearly, and it was hidden away for the driver to experience it later by the time they have their butts covered. Overpriced. Hidden flaws. Liars. Dont go here.

We purchased a used 2001 Lexus RX 300 for our daughter. Upon arriving home a mechanical issue was apparent. We called Madison motors and they came right away and picked up the car to have the problem dealt with. The fixing of this issue uncovered another issue that Dwight and his team corrected. Dwight covered the cost 100%. They even provided us with a loaner vehicle while the Lexus was being repaired. Dwight was courteous and kept his word. They made us top priority. While this was going on they had a death in the family, yet they still made us a top priority. Dwight and his team were easy to work with, and delivered great customer service. We would purchase from them again, and recommend them to family and friends.

My parents recently bought a car from Madison Motors and so recommended them to me. I didnt see anything that I was interested in on their online inventory so I called Dwight and told him what I was looking for. Two days later he called me back and told me he found a car that had everything that I wanted within my price range. I drove down, test drove it, looked at the paperwork and it was everything he said it would be. An hour later I was driving away with a fantastic car! One of the lowest processing fees around with phenomenal, honest customer service. A very transparent, candid car buying experience. Would definitely recommend first going to Madison Motors when looking to buy a car.

I was recently contacted by the owner and after talking about my problems with the head gaskets. I dont think that they knew about this problem when they purchased the vehicle. I knew when I purchased a used vehicle that there is a gamble that you take, that being said it turned out bad for me. That all changed when Dwight stepped up and did something that he didnt have to do on a vehicle with the 30 day warranty expired.This lets me know that there is still some good people out there.If you are in the market for a car or truck I would highly recommend these guys, they will go the extra mile when you need it.
