Ive had two experiences with Marlow. First was in the service department and second one was buying a car from them so this will be in two parts. First experience was poor. Service got my ford taurus in for a diagnosis and had it diagnosed the same day I called about it so kudos to that. Diagnosis was correct and was a vacuum leak which also beat down the new spark plugs I had in there making it so they needed to be changed. They wanted a total of $600 to change a single rubber vacuum line and the 6 plugs which is absolutely outrageous and price gauging as far as Im concerned. Rubber hose was in stock and $15 at car quest and the plugs were $45 for the iridium ones which it called for making the parts $60. Do they need to surcharge them to cover costs? Sure they do. So lets double it too $120 leaving $480 for an hours worth of work which is how long it took me to do it at my house. Outrageous. Get real on your service prices as Ill never have more then a diagnosis from you all after that ridiculous price to fix it. Second was buying a car from them today. Flawless experience. Neal was knowledgeable and courteous and made the buying process very simple. Finance department got me a great rate and left me driving away not worrying about the cost of the car because of that. Terrific experience and if later in time Im ready for another Ill definitely look at there inventory first.

Had a great experience with the salesman, Steve. However, the overall purchasing process was not so good. Directly aftering agreeing to buy the car, I went into the financing center to get a loan. The loan agent did not disclose my interest rate until I asked. He would have had me sign without knowing it if I wouldnt have asked. Also, there was a $399 dollar "processing" fee that was not disclosed and I only noticed aftering reviewing the agreement at a later time. After driving the car from the dealership to my home, the sales manager, Greg, called me to let me know that my car needed further servicing before it was ready so they came and picked up the car and gave me a rental. For the hassle, I asked if he could get me an extra key and an owners manual but he said we didnt agree on that so he wouldnt provide those. It was really a simple request and I figured those things are standard when purchasing a vehicle so they should be covered. Also, they dont cost much to the dealership at all so that rubbed me the wrong way. Greg was a perfectly nice guy but I didnt trust him. Something about the way he spoke to me seemed fabricated and insincere. I would not recommend this dealership because I feel they are not transparent in the way they do business and find sneaky ways to make a quick buck.

Best car buying experience Ive had yet (of approximately 8 in my lifetime). I was working away from home and wanted to buy a newer half ton to replace my older 3/4 tank of a truck. I used a couple of popular car listing sites to find a few trucks that matched my criteria, and most were 2 or more hours away (as was Marlow) from my location. However, unlike all the others, they were willing to talk through a possible deal on the phone, unlike the 5 other dealers I spoke with, and were genuinely interested in making a fair sale, instead of the "take it or leave it" attitude so prevalent in todays car market. Angie, Richard, Neal and Pete were all professional, knowledgeable and courteous. I just wish they were closer to home so I could use them when its time to replace my wifes car. An easy 5 stars.

I purchased a 2012 Nissan Titan from Marlow motors, and found a defect in the tailgate assist. The tailgate assist was completely broken. the plastic piece was shredded. OK. no problem, Ill ask the company I just purchased this from to buy it and Ill install it. ADAM did not return my phone call, which literally the day before he called me asking how the truck was. after that phone call I heard nothing from the company. I had to buy the tailgate assist which was only $30, but I assumed they were a good company. I will not be buying from them again, and I will be telling all my freinds to stay out of Front Royal VA. shady bastards. "if they dont notice, thats not our problem" mentality.

If I could rate it 0 or negative stars I would, this dealer is renowned for "screwing" people in the area. I have personally dealt with the micky-mouse service technicians and their "expertise". This is one of those dealers that WILL find something wrong with your car no matter how new or well kept it is. Friends gf took her caliber in for a free oil change (bought it their new) and the service kid tells her the ball joints are going bad and need replacement for about $800 parts+labor and that its unsafe to drive it, the car doesnt even touch any off road surfaces. They prey on women and their lack of knowledge of their car as well as their fear. Stay away from these shysters

I live in MD. Bought a 2007 Dodge Ram 2500 at Marlow. Multiple people at the dealer told me its Virgina inspected so it will pass MD inspection too. WRONG, a few bad steering components, a u-joint and a little less then $500 later the truck passes. Now according to the dealer DMVs are all electronic just walk in with you inspection certificate and walk out with your tags, ha wrong again. I am now on my third set of temp tags because this dealer has made its sale and is done with the transaction. This place is a Joke. Please research your states requirements before buying out of state, and stay away from Marlow Motors of Front Royal VA

WARNING!!! AWFUL SERVICE DEPARTMENT! DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO THIS DEALERSHIP FOR SERVICE! I have been burned, my room mate has been burned, and now my boyfriend was ROYALLY screwed over when his Jeep was vandalized in their parking lot and they refused to do anything about it! What kind of service or trust in your dealership is that? I completely agree with the other review about them taking advantage of the female customer as we had a similar experience. I now drive one hour to Chantilly to have my Jeep serviced and have NEVER had a problem with their facility. Trust me, its worth the drive!!!

I stopped by to test drive a Durango as I was almost positive that was the vehicle I wanted to purchase. I already test drove 4 different cars. We were greeted by gentleman that told me no less than 7 times (in the 30 minutes we were there) that "these are expensive" I was put off the first time he said it and he just kept repeating himself. I knew he didnt take us seriously when the test drive was over he never even asked to get our info or run numbers. Thank you very much sir. I gladly spent way more on my Tahoe. Way to lose a good sale and any future business.

Horrible customer service from the service department. Herb said they fixed what was wrong, but its still doing the same thing so evidently it wasnt fixed. Needless to say, its thousands of dollars later it isnt fixed..after emailing the service manager, his manager and the president of the company I was called in for another meeting the following week. During the meeting I was told to bring my vehicle in the next day and theyd take another look at it, i was called and told that my vehicle would be fixed at no cost to me..
