When it was around December 2015, I was yearning for a Playstation 2. I loved the classic games that were on there. When I found out that my Gamestop never even had PS2 in the store, I was recommended to look at Game Over. When I went, I realized that they did have a PS2, but it was quite pricey, so I had to let it go to someone else. I managed to get the PS2 online, and decided to go sell some games I dont play anymore to go into getting a controller and some PS2 games. GameOver has a pretty great trade system, and I felt that I was given the right amount of money for the games I traded in. Gamestop would have gave me about $10 for the games I traded in at Gameover, who gave me $40. If anyone likes vintage consoles, classics, or just looking to buy new games cheaper, this is the place to be. Although some things can be pricey, you have to realize that most of the things they sell are rare, vintage. In about 20 years, a Playstation 4 would probably be considered vintage, and be considered expensive. Anyways, this store is awesome.

I went to this location to return a defective game. The receipt states you have a 14 day defective warranty and you will get the same item if in stock or store credit. The manager did not return my item he made me play the game for over thirty minutes to recreate the error. I explained to him the error occurs in my career mode which obviously is not saved on their Xbox. I asked why this policy is not on the receipt and he said its something they are trying to tell people. He also said for me to film the error on my cell phone and come back. When I asked for a corporate number he said they didnt have a corporate office low and behold I found the number online. My game was not returned. Do not shop at this location the service is poor and they dont honor their return policy. They have cameras in the store so if the owner reads this feel free to watch the footage.

I really like this place. They have a nice store front and the staff for the most part is accommodating and friendly. Their games can be a bit overpriced but anyone who familiar with purchasing retro games knows that just comes with the territory. I guess it comes down to weighing whether to order it online cheaper, pay shipping and wait; or finding a store and paying for the conveyance of walking out of the store with what you want with sales tax/store operating expenses tacked on making it slightly above market value. I recommend this store, just do your homework. Make sure your not paying for game that you can buy new online verse a used copy in store for the same price. Be a smart consumer.

Its a REAL video game store not a corporate mock of one. Service reps were great and had alot of knowledge which is good to know. Also, they dont bother you about cards, preorders, magazines...etc. Anyways, but you have to understand that what they sell does come with a price. I did notice all sport games are around the $5 mark, most common games are about $10-$20, and popular games $25 or more. All those prices are about right because what you buy is right there at your fingertips and no waiting for shipping. I would still consider using amazon and ebay just in case. It is great to see stores like these come back and I thank them for being here. Please visit them and youll see what I mean.

Wide variety of games and systems. However its way too pricey. The price for just the disc for Breath of Fire III was the priced at the value of the game complete... Many of the games are on higher shelves and its impossible to see what titles are up there. If you do decide to fork over big cash because of a hard to find game, there are no Refunds. If the game doesnt work, You can only get instore credit. Buy at your own risk, but honestly youre better off with eBay where the prices are fair, and most of the time you can get a return if it doesnt work. Pros: Wide selection Neat museum Friendly staff Cons: Overpriced No cash Refunds Inaccessible Products

Ordered an AV cable for my N64 and SNES systems on ebay and the damn thing didnt work.... Came to Game Over and I was expecting overpriced cheap cords and what I got was the complete opposite, the AV cable workd on both of my systems flawlessly!! They could have a wider selection of games I couldnt find Super Mario or Super Metroid for my SNES, I was disappointed in the selection of games. Also bought a controller for my SNES that works great as well. Store is very nice and the employees are awesome! They also have a very impressive setup in the back room, every game system ever made lined up from Atari in the 1970s to PS4 Pro in 2017!

Guys dont buy used games, none of the money goes to the devs it all stays with the retailer. So basically when you buy a game your telling it to just stop and die. This is the same for every retailer with used games. The industry really is not healthy because of this, many companies went belly up, so support your hobby, buy it on sale or full price. One more tip, buy at least on brand NEW title game, a new IP, and buy it day one before reviews come out to help support new stuff to be made, I say before reviews because after the month it shows weather the game was a success or failure.

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME with this place its a good idea and they have an ok selection but the prices are way 2 high your better off buying on craigslist or at a flea market the manager is rude and seems like he hates his job. Bottom line they are the retro version of gamestop just as much of a rip off. I do not reccomend it a game that costs 5 dollars anywhere theyll charge $29.99 plus tax go ahead and check for yourself but dnt say i didnt warn you. Worst video game store ive ever experienced.

These guys were awesome! Super helpful (and knowledgeable) as I was trying to pick out games appropriate for my kid, and patiently waited on us the whole time - even allowed us to try out each game we were interested in on one of their consoles, first, before making our final selection. Courteous, enthusiastic, patient, never smug or condescending about my lack of experience with gaming - and they made the sale. It was a rare customer service experience, for which Im grateful.

I recently went into the store with my boyfriend even seeing and hearing bad reviews on the place i was skeptical but unfortunately most of them are true the the manager was in a bad mood the games are insanely over priced & my bf traded a game that they gave him 11 dollars in cash and they had it on the shelf for $59.99 we went into the store excited and happy & left disappointed and feeling bad for some reason its just not a good place 2 go avoid it at all costs.
