I had an amazing experience at Video Game Headquarters. I had been shopping around for a specific title, when I found one at Big City Gamin in Eugene /w no manual for $50. When I asked them to lower the price, because you could find the same title online sealed for that price, they refused. When I walk into Video Game Headquarters, they have the same game, in pristine condition albeit used, complete with manual, for $15 less. It made the trip out there from Eugene worth it already. But what really sold me on the place was the service of the people behind the counter. When I found a copy of a Playstation RPG I had been looking for for a very long time in their stock, I was very excited to purchase it, but I expressed dissapointment that the jewel case had multiple cracks in it. Without a second of hesitation, the gentleman behind the counter offered to replace the entire jewel case free of charge! Considering that this is a multi disc jewel case for an older generation of game, I was impressed that they had high quality extra cases, and that they were willing to replace the existing case, inserts and all, for no additional charge. For a collector, youll find no better service or selection in the Eugene/Springfield area! I live in Portland now, but I go out of my way to check out the selection this store has whenever Im back around. If youre looking for quality used games, whether they be from old platforms or the newest releases, check Video Game Headquarters before you look anywhere else! Youll support a local business that takes care of its customers. When I was in there last, there were upwards of 15 happy customers browsing the store. On the same day, Big City Gamin had about 3 people in their store at any time. Speaks volumes about how they treat customers at both establishments!

Ive never had a bad experience when I go to Video Game Headquarters. Every time I visit they have a good stock of current and older games to choose from. When looking for a birthday present for my sister, they didnt have the game I wanted so the clerk suggested he take our number and he would call us when they received the next one (instead of most other places where they want you to call them instead). We received the call within days. All the guys that work there are completely awesome. No doubt about it. When browsing around one day I noticed they had a new, still wrapped, copy of Final Fantasy 7. Anyone that knows that game knows you can find it price marked for $70 to $200+ on places like Amazon for a scratched, used copy. They had it for $20. When I asked why it was so cheap, he simply said they were not in the business of screwing people over, and it truly shows. I dont get used games or accessories anywhere else. Unless Im waiting in line on release night, I buy all my games from VGHeadquarters.

Ive been going to Video Game Headquarters for about 6-8 months now, the first time I went I was looking to a Super Nintendo game called "Earthbound". The game runs anywhere between $90 - $200 on ebay, depending on the condition. When I went to VGHQ I asked for the game and they had it behind the counter for $25. I couldnt believe it! The game that I had been searching for for so long was right there for cheaper than I ever thought possible. Since then Ive been going almost weekly to check out there new stuff, and since their NES games are only $4 Its hard for me not to grab one to add to my collection. On top of that, if you want to pre-order a new 360,PS3, or Wii game, you dont have to put any money down! You can if you want to but its always nice to have the option. Overall, Its my favorite video game store, even when comparing against Gamestop or Gamecrazy. Its an awesome store and it would be a huge shame for any local gamer to pass this one up.

Best gaming store in town from card games to video games dvd to bluray they have it all with the best trade in value, and lowest prices! they always have brand new condition products. But enough about that the best thing about the store is what I call the classic team the guys who have been there for a few years, abe the manager treats you like a life long friend, and the staff are just intelligent nice guys to help you out not force you to buy stuff like I have to do at Gamestop and as an employee I can tell you id quit in a heart beat if they asked me to work for them they really are the best place to be in Eugene and Springfield. - love VGHQ - Jeremy.

Bought a game here went home. Game didnt run. Came back, Idiot behind the counter smirks at me and tells me my Xbox did it and they wouldnt send a game in that quality out with a customer. All he offered to do is resurface it. I wasnt asking for a different game I still wanted call of duty I just wanted a disk that wasnt scratched. Ive heard great things about this place. But I will never to back. One morons action impacts the overall business. Get that Dweeb out of a customer service position. Also bought a game for 15 dollars. Turns out it was a demo copy which I played for all of 30 mins till I beat it. Why the hell would you guys sell demos?

AMAZING!!! A humble yet awesomely awesome store! I vowed to never go to gamestop again when they ripped me off so I discovered this store and its been my go-to place ever since! the prices are extremely fair, the selection is great, and they have so many cool collectibles and merch, posters that are hard to find, a cheap and efficient way to fix your old disks, and to top it all off the staff is amazing everybody there makes my day if they read this I want to tell them I appreciate how they make me feel like I matter unlike gamestop. this store is one in a million I recommend this store very very strongly

I shop here for the great selection of games and DVDs. Retro, check. New stuff, check. Handheld and console games, check. The staff is always helpful and friendly. Plus, they do a great job of calling me when a title I am looking for gets traded in and is ready for pick up. Speaking of trade ins, they offer a great value. It is my favorite place to turn in DVDs and games to get store credits for new stuff. Also, they generally have a cool movie or game showing on the big screen. It is the sort of store that leaves me with a good feeling, even if I just swing in to see what is new.

I normally only post when a company does poorly. THIS STORE - IS AMAZING. The staff are incredible. It must be training, and good hire selection for ALL of the staff to be so good. Kudos to the management for finding this awesome team. I work in the youth field, and something that I found amazing was how respectful the staff were to young children who came up to ask questions. They treated youth with respect, and were just as helpful to them as they were adults. Again - Amazing. Prices were best I have seen. The only thing I would ask is - bring me Android gaming gear :)
