Buying this 1997 Ford Ranger was one of the biggest mistakes we have ever made. I should have just followed my instincts, but they made it sound so good and I was told I would have help in getting what was needed to make it right. First, it failed inspection twice and after the first time, Larry did say to bring it back to him and he would have his mechanic fix what was wrong to pass inspection at his expense. He would even pay tolls and gas, which he did not. The second time it failed it was because his mechanic failed to put some parts back on to keep the wheels from falling off, so I had to pay $300+ dollars to fix that. Now, just two months in, the windows will go down, but not back up, the heater stopped working, the roof is leaking somewhere because there are water stains on the lining that were not there and the tool box on the back of the truck will not open even with the key. The truck is overheating and we told him after it failed inspection the first time that we were told the head gasket was bad. He asked if the truck was overheating and we said no, which it was not, but that was because the heat was turned on. This morning when we left the house and turned the heater on it kept blowing out cold air...no heat...so I turned it off instead of freezing more, and that is when I noticed the needle went all the way past the H on the dash. We had to turn the cold heater back on to keep from getting stranded. We should not have made this purchase and I advise anyone going to Main Street Motors to have any vehicle checked out be a mechanic they know first. Dont trust the "warranty" either.

I bought a car from these guys on 02/11/2016. I m very upset because when I purchased this car it was meant to be safe for me and my kids. The car had fresh inspection on it of 02/2017. My main factors in buying from these guys was that they were in business for 50 years and they were down the street from my house. Well when I test drove this car it have a shimmy in the steering wheel, I asked if they could fix that, they said they could. NO problem. The guy said that they had to put new tires on the car. I thought great. SO I purchased the car and had no problems. Well the other day I got a flat. I called AAA. They took out my spare tire, ( I have pictures). My rim is bent and they told me not to drive on this. ( I have a report from AAA). But they still had to change the tire, So they took off the passenger side tire and they tell me that , that rim is also bent. I was so surprised. So I called the owner and he got mean with me and he said I will search for a rim when he has time.I dont think that the car should have been inspected. (He said the car had good tires), But question How am I going to drive safely on good tires, if I have bent rims. (The tires could have blown out) In the mean while, I cant drive my car. Oh I forgot to say that when I bought the car, the car came with a 4 month bumper to bumper warranty. (well Im finding out the just not true). So As of today the owner had still never called me back (Buyer beware!!!!!) So in the end I found out, when I was told I was getting new tires, you swapped the bent rim and put that in the trunk. Then just put another bent rim (unsafe to drive).

I recently bought a vehicle from this dealership and my experience was horrible. I lived 3 hours away and when I called in to inquire about the vehicle I wanted to purchase, Larry wont find 5 minutes to explain anything about the vehicle. He stated he was busy and that everything works on the vehicle and will sell as is. When I finally drove 3 hours to purchase the vehicle, the interior was damaged and had missing parts and some parts not working (rear view mirror). He will not reduce anything from the price after this. I did purchase the vehicle and after driving for 10mins, the radio went off and has not switched on again. A few days after purchase, an inspection revealed that the transmission was damaged and needs thousands of dollars for repairs. If you are wise I will advice you not to purchase from this delearship. They have no regard for customers and they dont respect their deals (3 months 3000 mile warranty). A word to the wise

Made a offer, apparently it wasnt to their liking so their response was in ALL CAPS I quote from the email "46 YEARS IN THE BUSINESS... THIS WAS THE MOST STUPID OFFER I HAVE EVER GOTTEN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1" Yes, thats right, looks like a 12 year old responded in all caps with all those exclamation points. RUN RUN RUN Away! This is how they respond to emails, imagine how they treat you after they get your money! Bought well over 35 cars in the past 15 years, NEVER have I been disrespected by a single dealership.

I wanted to buy a car from Main Street Motors, and when the owner was busy with another customer I told him I would come back another day. We test drove the vehicle and I wanted to clear up some issues with my mechanic. It was in good mechanical condition, but would need tires and a muffler within a year. He insisted I contact his credit provider or leave! What a jerk; he could have made a sale, even if the heavily worn car had low miles for 10 years old and seemed in good condition. Oh boy, I guess he didnt want to sell it!

Get the car checked out by a mechanic? Larry said Saturday was too busy to do that! So we proceeded to test drive the car, which had to be jumped to begin. We then drove the car about a mile and the car died in the midst of an intersection. Larry could not hide more in the office when we came back..ie no sorry for the experience. And thanks to Mark for his attentiveness through this experience. At least I have a story to tell to my many friends in Norristown.

Great experience. Well worth the drive. Found a good looking Hyundai Elantra online and scheduled a time to go test drive it. Its a nice little dealership. They dont have tons of cars at any given time, but every car they have on the lot seems to be in great shape and a good value. Larry and Mark are easy to work with and are very helpful. Larry was willing to work with my budget to help get me in that Hyundai. Would definitely recommend.

I recently bought a used Mazda 3 hatchback here with a warranty and I couldnt be more happy with my purchase. The buying process was incredibly smooth. Larry made sure that all my questions were answered and he did not rush me at any part of the sale. He was honest and he kept his promises. This is great place to find a solid car. Would recommend to anyone.

I purchased a BMW and while the car is nice condition, the warranty was not good AT ALL. GWC covers absolutely nothing and im faced with thousands of dollars in repairs. Larry was helpful and nice, but the company seriously needs to reconsider their warranty provider.
