I live in Leavenworth and was on the way to visit my parents in Spring Hill on Thursday, June 9th. I had wanted to stop in there to check this store out. I found out about the store via Craigslist. I went in there looking for Atari 2600 games with my daughter. I saw that there were quite a lot of games and many different titles. I picked out two then I talked to Shawn, who was very nice and knowledgeable. I had told him that I have been looking for games in stores and I wasnt a fan of online auction sites. We find out that the Olathe store is THE closest store to where I live. I did suggest that if the business was looking for new locations, it should look to Leavenworth. I would be a definite customer in a Leavenworth store. I thanked him for the games and talking with me. This is a place I will come back to shop for games.

Great experience! Walking in there took me back to my childhood with all the vintage games and accessories they carry. Customer service is excellent and the employees can answer any question you have. It was my first time going into the store to get an N64 controller, but I was blown away! I will definitely go back to look at the vintage games, plus they buy your games. They offer warranties on the systems, games and accessories and the owner said he would look at my old N64 game for free. I would definitely check this store out before going to any other gaming store.

Love this store! Every retro format you can think of is here and the guys on staff are always friendly and helpful. Ive bought a ton of NES, SNES, SMS, and Genesis carts from here. Nearly all of them seem to have had contacts cleaned before being put on the shelf. Have only had to open a handful of carts for additional cleaning to get them to work. Prices are always within reason as well... I just hope the business stays open for a few more years.

Very good selection of games for such a small store. However, the prices were pretty absurd for some items, and the store opened an hour late on the day I visited. While on the phone, the associate stated very casually that they opened at 1 rather than noon without reason. If youre looking for a rare retro game, you have a good chance of finding here. Just be prepared for some sticker shock.

Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable of their merchandise. Goes above and beyond to answer questions and offer suggestions of your particular taste. Prices are very reasonable compared to other vintage game stores. Great mom and pop feel. Will definitely be a frequent customer!!

Friendly staff! Excellent selection of modern and retro. After visiting two Vintage Stock locations, Game Cycle in Olathe had a far superior N64 selection. Local establishments like this are hard to come by. I will definitely be supporting them!

The building is nice, neat, and good service. However, the prices for some items are absolutely absurd. Some games there are over $50 ! Although, if youre looking for older, retro games, theyve gotcha covered.

Great little small business. Brought my 16yo son here and he enjoyed looking through their selection. Nice, clean, well stocked and good prices. You can also play a couple of arcade games or pinball.

Awesome store. Found the copy of super Mario sunshine ive been searching years for! Lots of awesome vintage goodies , I even saw a Sega dreamcast there! I cant wait to go back. Thanks gamecycle !

This is the best place where you can find very good classics, everything is at a great price. Their disks are not scratched and run perfect on my console. Couldnt be happier!
