Over promise and under deliver. They dont have a clue how to handle customer service . Phone had a broke screen. The first gentlemen I dealt with a few months ago was fantastic. It took a long time for the replacement screen to arrive, but when it did, he called me, everything was taken care of. So why the 1 star review? Well about 1 month after the repair, the screen developed a defect and needed to be serviced under warranty. I dont blame Dr Cell Phone for that. Its the handling of the repair that is leaving me extremely frustrated. 0 communication. I call and they tell me the screen will arrive on "x" date. I get no call, so I call them. "yeah it arrived yesterday". They replace the screen and said itd take 2 hours. 6 days later I still dont have my phone. I ask if I can have my phone back to at least retrieve my sim card. One rep tells me I cant get my phone back but my phone will be fixed next day. 3 days go by. Call again. Rep tells me I can get my phone back, but lies to me and says I can get it that day. I go to get it and my phone is not there. They tell me they dont know when my new screen will arrive "inventory manager only knows that". etc etc. Ive wasted hours of my time to chasing this warranty repair. It is baffling how badly theyve treated me. I will never return once I manage to get my phone back. Stay away, stay far away

I took my phone to have the screen repaired. The quality of the replacement screen is nearly un-functional. After about 30 seconds of consecutive use (which is very frequently) it must hold the moisture or oil of my fingerprints and does funny things; scroll rapidly through the text conversation, highlight words, switch keyboards, hit in completely different locations of the screen from where youre pressing, open siri, highlight apps to delete, etc. It is just unpredictable. I called them to explain the problem. The service however was fantastic. The replaced the screen punctually, no additional charge and told me if the replacement acted the same way, they would replace it again. The new screen worked for a couple days as expected, and then started to do the exact same behavior. It is very frustrating working on a touch screen where the touching feature does not work. It messes up every function of using the phone, constantly. And sadly, to my own fault and not of Dr. Cell, I dropped the phone and cracked the corner to cannot be replaced again. I know the cracked corner was entirely my fault, and the service at Dr. Cell was great, but I am just left with a second un-functional screen (which happened before the crack) so all is fine in my opinion with the repair shop except the quality of replacement parts is clearly below par.

I picked this store based on its high reviews and was left disappointed and feeling like Id totally wasted my money with them. Details dont really matter- I imagine I had a request outside their capabilities (Im gonna assume thats mostly screen and battery replacement). They were supposed to contact a phone number I had left with them. A day goes by and I pop in, its been done and sitting. No contact. Frustrating but not the end of the world, its a relatively minor systems breakdown. Where I was profoundly disappointed and left feeling cheated was in the complete lack of documentation or customer care for my device. They could not tell me who had worked on my device, what they had attempted to do to recover my data, what other steps I could possibly take. For all I know I paid $50 for somebody to pry it open and call it a day. I distinctly and repeatedly asked to be contacted about this after picking up my device and no attempt at communication was made. Given these other glowing reviews I have no idea where things broke down but I wasted my time and money with these guys.

Went in today because I have gotten my screen fixed here before & the guy that helped me was amazing. He told me if I had issues or dropped my phone again within the next month or two to come back & it would be cheaper. As clumsy as I am, I broke the screen again. The lady behind the counter today was extremely rude. I told her I had been there before & thought I had paid less than what she was attempting to charge me this time around. She was slow to respond to my questions & when I asked her name she asked why I needed it & refused to give it to me. I told her I was leaving a poor review. Normally, I never have negative feedback towards customer service, but I seriously think this lady may have been high or confused. The guy that helped me before was awesome & helpful, I recommended the place before today, but after how rude this lady was, I will not recommend. Apparently the guy I described, does not work there. Looks like I shall go to one of the other million places that fixes screens when I am clumsy & break my screen!

This shop dont have a clue how to handle customer service. Phone had a broke screen. I called them and they said they going to request the screen and it will take 3 days. 10 days later no one even give me status about my phone. Every time I call the shop they tell me we will get back to you and call you on your cell and no one does. It’s simple you have the screen or not if not then say you can’t fix it. How difficult is that. Ive wasted hours of my time to call and follow up and till this moment I don’t know what happed and when they going to fix it. I even tried to email them and chat with them because my old phone not working most of the time and the responses is like the following (Let me forward your information and check the status of your device) I will never return once I manage to get my phone back.

I am extremely disappointed in the service I received at Dr. Cell Phone. Ive taken my phone in three times now and it still isnt properly fixed. I had to call the staff multiple times to make sure they were getting it done, and they never were on top of things. I left it with them the first time, and they never got the part in and didnt get it fixed. The second time they gave me my phone back saying it was "tested" and "fixed", but there was still discoloration and a blinking dot at the top left of my screen. Bad service, no manager accountability - I was ripped off for the price paid ($140 total). Not worth going here after all of that and having my phone still not fixed.

Got my Iphone 5s screen fixed here in January. Slowly but surely the screen starts to lift off the base (within 5 months) and the touch screen stops working. I go back to the place and they tell me the adhesive had worn out and they added more but wouldnt replace the screen. Less than 1 week later, the screen is pulling off again. Cheap materials, cheap service. Dont be fooled by all the 5 stars. Most of them are fake. Can you think of another store that has 99% 5 star reviews, not even the best restaurant you know can claim that. Plus they give you 10 dollars off your repair with a 5 star google review. BS. Save your money and your phone. Dont go here!
