What a rip off! Please read this and save yourself $200. The repair guy, Justin, came to my job and said that he could fix my Samsung Galaxy S5 screen for $99. He took it to his van and called me about an hour later to tell me that it was fixed. When I received the phone and tested it, it was fine. The touch screen stopped working an hour later. I couldnt touch the screen to reset it so I opened it to remove the battery. THERE WAS STICKY, FOUL SMELLING GLUE OOZING FROM THE BATTERY DEPARTMENT! It was everywhere and I had to wipe it clean even to attempt to reinsert the battery. After trying to reset it several times, I called the number on the website. I was told to bring it into the store on 45 North or they wouldt be able to help me unless I went back to the website, contacted them there, and wait for them to confirm an appointment for the next day!!! So of course I went straight there as soon as I leave work. Justin wasnt there and I was being "helped" by a young girl who was RUDE and clueless. She said it would take 30 minutes for them to clean the glue out that was still oozing from my phone. An hour later, Justin shows up and says that it was my fault for pressing too hard on the phone and that he warned me that fixing the screen alone would not work. Pause. And now I had to pay for a repair upgrade "at cost" minus the $99 he had already charged me. Or I could take the broken phone to Verizon and see if my warranty covered it. Yes you read that correctly! None of this made sense, so he explained it again to my husband and he agreed that it was all a scam. I was forced to pay an additional $104 to get the "repair upgrade" that they swore had nothing to do with the oozing glue dripping from the battery compartment. I am filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau to ensure that nobody else gets ripped off.

REMEMBER - GOOGLE REVIEWS ARE BS AND COMPANIES CAN HAVE THE NEGATIVE ONES TAKEN OUT - SO GO ON YELP TO SEE WHAT THE REAL DEAL FOR THIS TERRIBLE COMPANY IS Damn I should have read the reviews. Was told $50 over the phone by the manager Nola. To be fair, she did tell me to ask for her when I came in. But the guy that first greeted me told me $65 but I was already there. But Nola corrected that. Then the guy told me that if I need my screen repaired only and not a new LCD, that sometimes they mess up the LCD and they may need to replace it, when removing the glass. That should have been red flag #1 right there. Anyways, they replaced the glass, charged me $50. I left and realized it felt weird and went back and decided to get the whole LCD replaced after all. Then I get in my car and the bluetooth isnt working. I go in and tell them, and I even ask to borrow one of their bluetooth devices to show that nothing can be heard no matter where the bluetooth is used, so it obviously is the phone. Then Nola tried to tell me "how do we know you were using the bluetooth before you came in?" Because I told you so. Because you cant assume the customer is lying. Because I complained to you about not getting texts on my watch, meaning I have enough money to buy a watch that accepts text messages, meaning I wouldnt be cheap and have a messed up phone and come and try to blame it on a place that repaired my screen. Anyways, then I told them to give me my original screen back and money and I would be on my way, and they told me they were going to charge me $25 for labor. Are you serious? $25 for labor for what? For messing up my phone? For spending time and labor trying to fix stuff they broke? How is this place still in business. Small claims court here I come....

I recently needed the services of Cell Phone Repair Ambulance. I had never used a cell phone repair service to repair my phone. Therefore I was VERY skeptical. Initially when I contacted them they quoted me two prices, they gave me one if I came to there location and another if I wanted them to come to me. I am more of a convenience kind of person and therefore chose for them to come to me. They advised that I would need to pay first and then they would send someone out within the hour and that it would take him about 45 minutes to fix on location. When he arrived he asked me what color was my phone, and I advised him white. He did not have the glass he needed to repair my phone and asked if he could take it and bring it back. Initially I was skeptical, however I did provide it to him and he assured me that he would have it back within the hour. Once the tech left I did contact the manager to advise him of my concerns, and he also reassured and stated that it was in good hands and that I could contact him with any questions or concerns. I contacted him within the hour and sure enough he stated that the phone was in route! I received my phone and it looks like NEW again! I appreciate the AMAZING customer service received today from Frost and the technician. The mobile service is DEFINITELY worth the extra $25! I will spend $220 over a 24/month installment plan for a new phone any day! I will use them again and I highly recommend the North location!

Paid them to came out and replace my iPhone 5s screen, they told them me that I will still will have marks on my screen and They have replace LCD as well so they have to charge me more total of 125$ (sounds like bait and switch). So I paid. I wanted my screen to be fixed. 15 minutes later find out that my proximity sensor is not working called tech back. He said he will come back next day. Never showed up. So at this point Im already frustrated. Call them, they told me bring phone to the store. Also I noticed a gap on the top of my screen. So at this point I already convinced my repair was not done correctly or the whole part is defective. Another day pass by and see a small crack on the bottom of the screen. I didnt drop my phone I just pulled it out of the pocket. Next day Im at the store. Girl tell on the front desk tell me that tech will look at it. So I wait. Two hours later she tells me that warranty wont cover screen but they will fix proximity sensor and I have to pay again for LCD. I said no. So she brings my phone back and my screen is even more broken since I have a gap on top of the screen, my home button makes a funny noise and my screen is still broken plus I had lost warranty with apple. So think twice before you take your to repair to that company. If you and iPhone better take it to apple.
