Leslie Wechter IS Louis Shanks! We love working with her. Why? First, she is always focused on getting an answer for us. She has energy that is awesome. She listens and acts. We love that. No wasted time on fluff with Leslie. Secondly, she knows her business, both decorating and products. She thinks furniture. Thats what over twenty years at LS does. Expertise comes to mind. The LS store in Austin where we live is just a great place to be. We are always greeted and made to feel welcome without being hassled. The feel inside LS is just pure comfort. Well designed with just enough grandeur to whisper "this is a great place to buy furniture". One case in point: we purchased a large rug for our family room working with Leslie and Bryan Walters. They showed us tons of fine rugs and helped us get to just a few to try at home. Bryan came with the delivery truck and we worked through them until we knew the right one was on the floor. Very impressed with the customer interest and care. Our most recent purchase was a sleeper chair with small ottoman. Leslie was so efficient in getting to the right one after listening to us describe what we had in mind. Then she whipped through about a million fabric samples and found what she thought we would love and she was right. So, we are glad to give Leslie and LS our vote of confidence. Great place for fine furniture and great customer care.

We purchased 2 leather swivel chairs a few months ago. One was immediately available and we took it home to Plano. We picked up the second one several weeks later and took it home, only to discover it wasnt an exact match (difference manufacturing dates, the normal variations in leather, etc.) Since the chairs were side by side in my office, it was not a good situation. Louis Shanks contacted Jay Phillips, their account manager for Our House Designs, and Jay came to our house in Plano. Once he saw the variation, he and Louis Shanks ordered a new pair of chairs to be matched at the factory. The matched, beautiful set of chairs arrived last Friday and we couldnt be more pleased! Its a long way to drive from Plano, but we are Louis Shanks customers and will continue to buy our furniture there - service and support make all the difference!

Our sales consultant, Leslie, was a total professional and very knowledgable as well. she was able to assess our needs quickly and accurately, and helped us to find exactly the right chairs, couch and barstools for our living room redo. We had a very positive experience shopping at Louis Shanks. We were looking for two recliners, not really knowing exactly what we wanted, but after being greeted soon after entering, the sales rep walked us through the different styles, colors, explaining the different features. He was patient with us and never made us feel that we needed to rush even though we found out the store closed at 6:00 and we didnt leave until close to 7:00! It was a relaxing time and not at all stressful. I do not like shopping for furniture, but this was painless!

I purchased 4 pcs for formal livinng - expensive. Once they were delivered they did not go well. I immediately asked to return them and was willing to pay restocking charges plus moving. The manager refuse to take it back as store policy NO RETURNS. I would never buy anything from them, for the prices they charge, they should have some kind of return policy. Extremly disappointed - have to see sofas every day which I hate but can not spend thousands of dollars again to replace them.

Great experience. Our design consultant, Gary, was patient and helpful, giving us good insights into different options, materials, and manufacturers. Also, the gentleman in the customer pickup area was friendly and skilled, taking care to get the furniture loaded into my small car to make sure it was secure and protected. To top it off, the two ladies in the business office were a pleasure to work with. We will definitely be back for our next furniture purchase.
