We ordered a table back in June, and have repeatedly had to call to check on the status of the shipment. They never call us to give us an update on the status. Originally, the rep Travis said it would be 3 weeks tops. It is now August, still no table, they give us a different excuse about as to "why" it was not on the crate for shipment. I have asked could they make an exception, and pay for the table to be shipped separately, they said no, that the shipping costs would be around the amount of the price of the table. This is poor customer service, and now in Sept., they have agreed to giving us a credit back for the mistake. We are still waiting on the credit for the item. All of this trouble for a bar table worth $400. This has been a total waste of time, I can only advise you to only buy an item from this establishment if it is there for you to buy off of the floor. Do not pay for an item that will be shipped in the future.

like the store. liked it even better when the pooch and underpaid salesdog, sadie worked there. it was a touch of old austin and gave the place more of the eclectism it purports to represent. hopefully sadies absence doesnt indicate a future absence of other things that made this a special store with a special atmosphere.

Mike was great. I went in looking for a single chair. I told him what I was trying to match, and he gave me quite a few options. He was not pushy, and was very knowledgeable about their products. The inventory was wonderful, and I will be returning for future purchases.

Primitives has the most unique rustic furniture in Austin. Everything is all made out of real wood and the uposlery can be custom made to order. From my understanding, everything is hand picked rather than coming off of an assembly line. 5 star furniture store for sure!

Cannot comment on the reports below of lengthy leadtimes, but we went into the store and bought 6 chairs which the store wrapped and we loaded in the car and drove home, and we absolutly love the chairs and they are a center piece in our house.

We have found a number of pieces here for our house. We bought an awesome copper table that Im sure well have for decades. Their furniture is well made. If youre looking for something unique, check them out.

We bought a huge rustic armoire from here a few months ago. We received a great deal, and they were able to have it delivered in less than 2 days! I love this furniture store and will shop here again.
