Great products, less than helpful service. I prefer to be left along when I shop, but on more than one occasion Ive experienced the employees do not look-up when someone enters or passes by them, nor do they pay attention to the cash register when people are waiting to purchase. Not only with me (well-dressed, coming from work) but Ive noticed the same with other customers. Whoever does the purchasing for the store has excellent taste, but unfortunately they are losing business due to the complete unfriendliness of the employees.

I disagree with the snobby review. I can guarantee you that I dont look rich... Im a mom in t-shirts, short, and flip-flops on most days. I did not find them stuck up and bought a sofa there. It wasnt cheap but no more than big box stores AND its locally owned. I think its a great store. Theyre always friendly and helpful when Ive been in and I was a frequent visitor for years before I ever made a purchase.

The absolute best little furniture store in Austin. Owner Mari Johnson is incredible and Im so thankful for all she does for her customers. What a gem Back Home Living is. If youre in the market for new furniture, look no further. Staff and selection are top notch.

Excellent customer service! Unique items, affordable & a "take it home and try it" hold for those ornate chandeliers that may or may not look awesome at home. Mine did! I only had to call back and say, yes! Ill take it! Thank you ladies, I will be back soon!
