We decided as a small business to try their business checks because of the affordability and speed in which checks can be reordered. WORST mistake we could have ever made for our business. We are a small cafe with a lounge attached exclusively almost all of our transactions with vendors are through checks. We received the new checks from the printing company Staple uses, looked at them all the information looked right, so we started writing checks. Three weeks later we started getting notices from our vendors that the checks were being returned as "Account Not Located" or Invalid Account". We couldnt figure out what was going on went to our bank and realized that one of the numbers in our checking account was missing from the checks. Went to Staples in Albany, Or was helped by a very nice salesperson April, showed her the error, she tried in vain to help me with the printing company they use, at one time they company admitted they made the error, but said since I didnt catch the error, the resulting financial fiasco we are now facing is all our fault. We now have over a 1000$ in returned check fees and late payment fees. There was no I am sorry, or anything from the company they are using just basically tuff on you us...If there was a negative option I would give it to the company they use, I gave a two because as I was sitting there heartbroken and devastated, at least April was there to offer me sympathy. WILL NEVER USE THIS BUSINESS OR ANYONE THEY CONTRACT WITH....The only "EASY" thing about this experience was writing this review....Glenda Michelle Nunes.....Jefferson Oregon

I called Albany Staples to see if they had a certain computer in stock which they had advertised in their "Weekly Ad" - The items in the ad are at a sale price/promo price good only for that week. I went through an automated phone system which I did not mind, but then was on hold for a ridiculous amount of time. The CSR I reached was friendly, but did not seem to know what was in the "Weekly Ad" even though the ad Id received indicated it was for the Albany store. This may not be her fault at all. She kindly checked the store and advised me they did not have the computer in stock, but they were expecting a truck Thursday. She didnt know if that shipment would include this computer. I found the this experience annoying. Why advertise if you dont have the product? At best the reason would be b/c the store is poorly managed, at worst b/c the store is just trying to get butts in the door. This is why I usually shop online. I was calling for a co-worker and the deal was only available in-store. Bah Humbug!

Shopping for some paper and had to use the restroom. It was in worse condition than one found at a gas station. Both stalls out of toilet paper. Paper towels were out but someone had placed a huge roll on the sink. The toilets were disgusting-one of them had a ring around the bowl, you know the one that shows up if you havent cleaned it in 3+ weeks? The base of the toilet had dirty streaks down the side and front. Sink hadnt been cleaned in weeks. The floor was absolutely filthy but they had a wet floor sign up (a sick joke?). The trashes inside the stalls were overflowing, the one I was in had a pair of panties hanging out of it! I called afterwards to speak to a manager about this and about half way through our conversation (I was having a polite, informative conversation) the manager hung up on me. Yikes.

dont know about other Staples but my store sucks Bought a new laptop, Wasnt in stock they said it would be there in 2 business days...a week later I didnt get it so called the store, no one had a clue. waited a few more days and still wasnt here, a few more days they told me it was coming from California, so waited a few more days by then the in store return policy had expired so the computer that finally came had hard drive issues, they said that I could purchase a warranty at $99.and I had one day to decide because that was going to end in 24 hours ! They they said I could call HP repair because the hard drive warranty was good for one year, they said they did all they could do for me...Never again!! HPs tech support is another not so funny story :(

Would give them zero if I could.Made A online purchase of A laptop for one of my kids. I noticed it it was cheap in store and ask if the would price match.$20 They said no problem.I told the cashier I paid half with A gift card and other part with CC. I would take the $20 refund in either GC or on CC. Well they refunded me the whole amount and I can not use the gift card now for 7 days. The cashier made a mistake and manager was no help. Called customer service and they even said the store did the price match wrong.They were very nice about it.Still have to call corporation and see if I can get my GC back sooner. I just want to use my gift card ad be done with Staples.Online and Walmart have better employees,prices and service. Just A big headache

I went here on two separate occasions for a desk chair. Once for me, once for my wife. On both occasions they did not have the chair in stock despite having a display on the sales floor. Relatively annoying considering how much space they have dedicated to that department.

Worst customer service the two heavier set girls in their 20s were extremely rude and Cady. They should Not be working in customer service. Have talked with other people who have had the same experience. I do not recommend shopping here...Rude rude rude....
