My experience with Trek Raleigh ranged from so-so to bad. They handled a warranty claim for me back in the fall. They sent the bike back to Trek, but it was like pulling teeth getting the service person to do it. Once the claim was elevated to the GM Pryde, the service did get better. I ended up getting the bike replaced, but had to take the initiative myself to call Trek headquarters and work it out. On the new bike, I decided to do some upgrades, including to Ultegra Di2. I thought about taking the work to my normal LBS (Durham Cycles--fantastic place), but decided it seemed right to give Trek Raleigh the business given they had handled the warranty claim. It took almost three weeks for them to install the Di2. Then, about a month and a half later, the front derailleur dislodged from frame, requiring the bike to be sent back to the Trek headquarters again to be fixed. The derailleur problem was clearly an installation issue (the Trek Raleigh service person admitted that, and I had taken it to another LBS and they had offered the same opinion). Yet, Trek Raleigh still charged me for rebuilding the bike. Normally I wouldnt object to paying for something like this...but since the problem was their doing, I didnt think that was fair. All in all, theres some bright spots with this shop, namely Pryde once my job got his attention. But there were enough issues, and enough better shops in the area, that Im going to take my business elsewhere.

So I initially went in to this store because someone referred me to it. When I went inside the person that approached me was nice but his knowledge lacked greatly. He told me the the lockouts on the bike shock would prevent people from riding it but reality is that its a shock stiffener or softener. I asked him to tell me the difference between ds1 bikes and ds2 but he had no clue. I asked a few more questions and again, he had no idea. Just kept repeating himself about things that werent true like the lock out. Research the stuff you are selling before you try to sell it. Anyhow, I figured since this person has no idea what they were talking about I would grab the business card of the manager "Pryde" and send him an email with my questions. I never got a response from him after 4 days. I want to buy a bike asap while I have the initiative to workout with it. Needless to say, if the manager cant simply reply to my email within a few days, I guess another shop would like my $1000 instead. If I owned a business, all customers questions get answered in a timely fashion because every question is a potential sale. A business is only as good as the manager and if a simple email gets ignored, that speaks volumes of the kind of service I will get. Or lack there of.

I did not have a good experience with this store. I took my Trek 2200 in and left it with them to install finders and adjust and align breaks. On the day it was suppose to be done, I called and they said, "the fender had not come in". Two days later I called, and "the fender had no come in." Two days later I called, "the fender had not come in." I have no idea what the hold up was on the the fender not coming in but what bothers me is the lack of service. I expect that like most companies, when they realize it will not make the deliver date, they would have called me. They did not call me at any point and worse yet they act annoyed, dont seem to know who I am with each call until they look me up on the computer and it returns "awaiting parts". I asked to speak with a manager or owner (owner is Jeff Roberts) and they will not give out any contact info for either. Their website also does not list contact info for either. If I owned a small cycle shop, you could bet my business I would make it very easy for unsatisfied customers to contact me. This shops service rate is pricey, you might get the impression they must be good to charge those kinds of rates. I would advice customers to steer clear of Jeff Roberts Trek shop.

Ive owned Trek bikes for decades now. Ive always had good fortune with them and have always been pleased with the vendors. This time, they went above and beyond my expectations. I showed up at the store five minutes before closing on a Saturday afternoon. My son needed the bike for the next day and they willingly stayed after 45 minutes to fix his bike. They were super pleasant and couldnt have been more helpful. I wasnt an annoying customer to them. I was a fellow biker in need. Good people!

Every bike weve had since our kids were old enough to ride has come from Trek. They staff is so helpful and knowledageable. They work with our needs, our budget and they help to get bikes that are safe fun, and age approbate. they have a great selection of helmets and fit helmets so we know eveyone is safe. Of cousre the adults, even a competitive cyclist in the family gets biks from Trek

So far I have been very pleased with this shop! I bought the first bike for my son at the store a couple years ago, and recently walked out with 4 more bikes for the rest of the family. The service at this shop is outstanding, and I will be continuing to do business for them for years to come.

I would recommend this shop to everyone from a beginner to a hardcore biker. I took my sons BMX bike to get fixed, they had it done sooner than expected and under the estimate. My son was so excited that his bike was done early! They always have time to answer any question. These guys are great!

Just left the store, had been searching everywhere for a part for my Trek 4300 mountain bike, they had the part I needed and their staff was very friendly, Pride was very helpful and nice and helped me with my bike seat. I will definitely be going back to purchase a bike at this location!

Just bought my first road bike from here. The staff was super helpful not only explaining options, but orienting me to the bike I selected. If youre looking for a bike from store with great customer service and great products, this is your place.

My bike is 33 years old. I had not used it for five years, they got it back up and working 100%. The price was fair and the work excellent. They were quick, all was done while I waited. I highly recommend them.
