Fantastic place. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. If youre a beginner and have no idea what youre doing or looking for, dont be intimidated- theyre really welcoming and will help you figure out what kind of bike you want to be on. I went several times just to ask questions before actually purchasing my bike. Each time, same awesome level of service, even when I didnt buy anything. They even stayed after closing when I purchased my bike to answer questions... they werent trying to rush me out of there, they seemed genuinely interested in taking the time to help me. They offer classes too, as well as nights where you can bring in your trainer and ride with a group of people. All around great experience. And theyre not price gouging you either.. their prices are definitely better than some of their competitors!

OMG!!! these guys are AWESOME!! I dealt with Jordan; he is the BEST! Very, very nice; knowledgeable, helpful; made sure you had everything you needed before you left the store. Made sure your bike was handling properly and fitted properly. I purchased another bike from a competitor; did NOT get this type service. The other guys in this store were just as nice & professional. Like someone said, they have a big selection of bikes and the store is clean. Oh man, I just cant believe the service I got here. I visited this store a long time ago and they were professional then. I reviewed the Glenwood Store...whatever you do....STAY AWAY FROM THEM and come here. Trust me...you will not be sorry with the Apex store. I just hope they never lose the great service they offer. Keep it up guys!

Great service and selection. My wife is just getting starting with cycling and needed a fitting for a used bicycle that we purchased. They were extremely patient and thorough in explaining the various aspects of comfort and fitting to her. Theyve also been very informative, helpful, and friendly any time I needed advice or suggestions on gear. Some of their prices are a bit high, but in general they offer higher quality selections that what Ive seen in other stores in the area. In addition, if you find something in another store that is priced lower than here, they will match the price! Very highly recommended.. Ill certainly continue doing business with them.

I took my sons bike there for an overhaul which cost me over 200. ew chain, tires and tubes etc. NAfterwhich he took it to college. Two months later when I went to visi the told me the rear tire was flat and had been a few days after he got to school. He didnt use it so I brought it home and filled the tire. It held for a day and went flat so I went back to the store. They said it was a slow leak in the valve stem. They wouldnt even listen to the story and were curt and I would up having to pay for a new tube. I would have thought youd get better service from a local bike shop. I wouldnt recommend them unless you want to spend more money than you should.

Great service and excellent, knowledgeable staff here. Ordered an expensive road bike through them in order to get my size. Only had me put $200 down as a deposit on a couple thousand dollar bike. Was in the store and assembled in a couple days. I had to pick up late due to work, and they were extremely patient with me, even took the time (after the shop had closed) to get it properly fitted to me. It was amazing how patient they were and kind to stay at least 30-45 mins just to help one customer. Never felt rushed or like an inconvenience. HIGHLY recommend.

My father recently purchased a rather expensive road bike from this shop. He took it in for his free tune up and new tires, he had the bike at the shop for well over a week. Upon pick up, he was charged incorrectly, not just once but twice and required three trips back to the store. With that settled, he went on a ride and discovered that they had not performed any of the requested services included in the tune ups although the tires were fine. Needless to say, he will no longer be a customer at this store.

I used to go the CSH in Apex, but they consolidated. Someone suggested trying the Bicycle Chain in Apex. Wow ! I wish i had known about them earlier - These guys are great - exactly what i need - fast, friendly service. I dont have to what a week to shorten my chain or replace my pedals. Very knowledgeable and offer great advice. What I really liked was the fact that they give the guy with a beater bike (i.e. me) the same respect as someone with a Pinarello Prince.Carbon setup.Highly recommend.

We had a borrowed bike we needed serviced in short order. We were taking a ride through a national park and didnt want any surprises. They were busy but professional. When we said wed take it elsewhere we were asked to bring it in and hed see how much work it needed. After a quick but thorough check up he tightened some screws, pumped up the tires and sent us on our way. No charge. Anymore bicycle needs we know where well be shopping. Thanks for a most positive experience!!

So so shop. Expensive, and their mechanical work is a bit so so too. Actually had new brake pads and setup done on a Cannondale, the brakes failed the 1st time out on the bike, and that was after an additional week delay waiting on parts. I broke my wrist....:( I guess I could have gone to the shop and made a big deal out of it, but I didnt) I bought other bikes there for my kids....service was "OK"., Pricing, not so great....just "ok".

I recently needed a recommendation for a new fork for my Crosstrail that would allow me to lock it so I could pedal out of the seat without the front suspension robbing power. John worked with me over the phone patiently to find the right product. It has worked out perfectly for my needs. I dont visit the shop much but these guys really make you feel at home. my experience was really good. My helper name was Steve.Steve was really nice he let us exchange a older model bike for a new one.he ordered a bike what was not in the store and we did not know if we wanted to buy it but they let us try it.Since they were really nice we will all ways go their if i need to exchange a bike or i need a new bike! This is my "go to" bike shop. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I have had my bike in the shop for repairs recently and they have done a great job and got my bike back on the road quickly and for a reasonable price. I used to do all my own repairs but I trust them more than I trust me :-) . Thanks Dan for getting my bike back on the road.

Awesome, awesome folks. They speak with you like they have known you for years. Service is top notch with extremely accurate troubleshooting. They target the exact issue. They have a customer for life as long as I live in N.C. I would refer to other folks as well.
