Long Tooth

The Bike Guy on the Greenway is located just below the falls Lake/Neuse River dam overlooking the head of the greenway that follows the river into Raleigh. Its a great location to test ride some bikes or trikes. Rob Atkinson is The Bike Guy, and he has a wide variety of bikes and trikes from which to choose at very reasonable prices. He also has a selection great used bikes for those with a budget. Robs customers range from experienced riders and bike experts to parents with new riders looking for their first bike. Rob provides the level of advice and equipment based on what his customers want. The Bike Guy on the Greenway has a staff of helpful and knowledgeable techs who can service your bike and mount accessories available on the spot while you wait. Its a friendly store and a nice place to stop to pick up a cold drink and a snack and sit on the front porch for a breather. I bought a trike because I wanted something different to ride. Its more comfortable than a standard bike and positions the rider in a posture ideal for pedaling efficiency and reduction of wind resistance. Riding a bike or trike at a leisurely pace on the Neuse river greenway in the dappled sunlight is a sweet experience. Visit Rob for something fun to ride.

It was time for a tune up and some maintenance on our road bikes. We had seen The Bike Guy whenever we rode on the Greenway trail, so we decided to give them a try. The service was great, and they even had one of the techs stay a bit late one evening so our bikes would be ready the next morning. More importantly, when we picked them up, they were both spotlessly clean, and my seven-year-old Trek Madone ran like a brand-new machine - the shifting was smooth and precise, and everything worked perfectly. This will be our new go-to shop for service!

What an awesome bike shop!!! My sons bike had an issue with the tire. When I went to pick it up, I was told that the brakes were not working properly and that an employee just could not have that bike leave that shop without the brakes working. He fixed my brakes for free. I really appreciate the level of customer service I received. Thanks :)
