These guys are great! Had trouble with a rear tire going out of true...had it fixed once by another shop and it went out again in two weeks. They werent sure what was going on...but Blue Wheel knew exactly what the problem was (they even managed to explain it to me so I could understand it) AND they had it fixed that afternoon (all this on a Saturday!) As a bonus, when I picked up my rear wheel, they had cleaned all the grime and grease from the back sprocket that I had plastered on while commuting in the storm last week. I almost brought the wheel back because I thought they might have given me the wrong one (way too clean to be mine!) Anyway...top notch service. Ill definitely be back.

Excellent service! I brought my bike in for a fitting, they took their time made small adjustments and then told me to ride my bike for a while and come back for further adjustments. When I went back they made more adjustments but didnt charge me anything to do them. I went to another popular bike shop in town before coming to Blue Wheel and the bike fit at this other shop caused several issues and a lot of pain (sold me zero float cleats). Blue Wheel too time to address all my issues and make sure the fit much better for me. Riding my bike is a totally different experience thanks to Blue Wheel.

Best bike shop in the area! Prices are extremely reasonable and they take the time to ensure that youll be satisfied with your purchase with great tech help, friendly service, and a quick turnaround. One of the owners even kept the shop open after hours for me since I was coming from out of town. Just to prove how good of a shop they are, I drove 110 miles just to shop and purchase a bike from Blue Wheel Bicycles. Thanks again and a big Kudos to Scott!

Great local bike shop. Brought in my new bike for a fitting; Mr. Scott dialed me in and my bike ended up in a more upright setting with a smaller reach and slightly higher handlebar position compared to the rather radical setup I used to ride with. The improve on handling/comfort is immediate. Also very moderately priced with other locally owned/chain bike shop!

Competent, honest, timely, fair prices, pleasant to deal with - what more could you ask for from a bike shop? They also have a good selection of accessories (clothes, lights, glasses, etc) that are reasonably priced and good quality. I wish they were open on Sunday, but aside from that this place is ideal.

Might be the coolest bike shop on the east coast. Old building, hardwood floors, laid back. I always see the pro bikers in here. It reminds me of my fathers barbershop. The legends of Cville biking own, operate , and know everything.
