This review is not about the Rockaway Target. It is about placing an order from Target in general and how their "Free Shipping" is false advertisement . I originally intended to only order 2 Christmas gifts at Target and then I saw the Advertisement that if I spent $50.00 I could receive free shipping. This obviously made plenty of sense since I can always purchase more Christmas gifts at Target and my total price was already at thirty dollars. When I tried to complete my purchase only 3 of my items qualified for the free shipping and not the one item I really needed. So INSTEAD OF SPENDING $50+ ordering from Target, I will know drive to a Target and only spend $20.00 on the one purchase I really need. Thank you Target for saving me money.

Reasonable prices for average merchandise and clothing. Limited to Target brands, which are becoming a bit upgraded. Only one register open (4 self-checkouts open) with quite a line, while many store workers wandering around aimlessly, a few chatting and a few actually working. Management needs to step up and oversee the operation so this doesnt occur. Usually long lines here, especially on weekends. You generally get what you pay for, if youre willing to wait. A couple steps above Walmart...

If Wal Mart is out of stuff, then Target is your next best bet. They have good deals on stuff and is much closer to the mall than Wally World. The Pizza Hut Express is quite convenient. I wish they would play muzak like the wal mart does...other than that, a great place to shop. Im happy that they put in a CVS Pharmacy inside the store.

The staff is great! But they need to hire more great people - or put in self-checkout, or maybe even always have an express lane open. Almost every time I go, the checkout lines are too long to make a purchase (Ive had to sit on line for 20 min to get 5 items). EDIT: Self-checkout was added. However, they still need express lanes.

Ok store but couldnt find an employee to ask if they had anymore of a sales item. Then I found a bunch of them just standing there talking about going to a bar. Its as if they dont work they just hang out. If I didnt get 10% off I probably wont be shopping there again, but thats just this location other targets are better.

lines are longer than in the past. in the past, it was common to have a cashier waiting. now, i regularly have to wait on a line, adding 5 to 10 minutes to the check out time. i still like Target but it seems they reduced staff in the past month or two and its a tangible difference in waiting to check out.

Great all-in-one retailer. Love stopping here for a few groceries or pet supplies. Target has competitive pricing, especially when you take advantage of coupons on their Cartwheel app. The Rockaway Target can get busy, but the new self-checkout is a great addition. Staff are helpful and friendly.

This Target has really gone downhill. The aisles are really messy. In the toy section, the aisles are almost bare, but the ends (back of the aisle) are cluttered. In the womens clothing section, there are clothes on the floor and scattered among shelves. Its really unpleasant to shop there now.

I shop here for groceries when I know that the regular food stores in my area are very busy. Parking is easier. The food section is a terrific place to get the basics and then some. Target is always expanding and improving their selections.

Ive been to a couple dozen Target locations, and this one is near the top, because it was clean, organized, well staffed with friendly professionals, and had a good number of cashiers which made the checkout experience painless.

Went to get a hatchimal that they restocked yesterday and waited in line for 45 mins and the associate comes out and gives 9 people 2 vouchers when other people wanted some! Worst experience I have ever seen

It is Target, and it is much like other targets. It has groceries and plenty of excellent mid-quality goods available. Better and classier than Walmart, with all the same charm. Open late so very convenient.

A midget climbed into my backpack and we both got in but only paid for one person to get it. They didnt even check my bag to see if I was sneaking someone else in. 10/10 would smuggle a midget in again.

Nice super clean basic needs and a food isle that is OK for quick shopping. They have a Starbucks inside so you do not have to drive around to the other side and wait in long lines to get coffee

Pharmacy closes WAY to early. If you are looking to come here for an all in one experience, pick another Target that has a Pharmacy open later for most people who get out of work after 6:30P.

The best thing I can say about this Target is no matter when I end up here, it isnt crowded. It makes it easy to get in and find what youre looking for and get out. Good enough for me!

Great Target store. Shelves are always full and not messy. Very clean floor and bathrooms. Never seen more than two people line at the register.
