Needed a mattress in a jam and decided against my better judgement to go to RAC because what else are people with less than stellar credit suppose to do? First, the day of application was perfect. Nice guys, no issues. However, the day it was suppose to be delivered I answer to confirm the delivery time and the guy asks me "hey, did you mean to get a used mattress?" "No I didnt, I certainly thought that price was a new mattress. I never even knew used mattresses were an option, that was never stated." He responds "ok well this mattress is pretty used, to be honest....I would not accept it had I even paid for used." I explain to him that I will not accept a used mattress under any circumstances. He advises that new mattresses are more and that I technically "paid" for a used one. I told him I did not care about price, I would not accept a used mattress. I didnt even gain clarity on the price difference, I just wanted my bed delivered. He says, no problem he will get me a new mattress. Delivery was at 3pm which I had actually gotten a friend to come over and wait since I work all day and I called at 4:15 to be told "oh we had to go to another store because we had no new mattresses". Finally at 5:15 the bed is delivered. It just got a little absurd, and I feel like they treat people this way because they can due to the limited options for people with poor credit. I def wont be going back, and will be contacting corporate for the inconvenience.

Sometimes things can get out of hand. I had a problem with RAC over a sectional. I was almost done paying and I miss a date. They were looking for me like know other. RAC came to my home I was not home. When I finally got in touch with them they said that they were knocking at my door and that I was home and did not want to open the door. Which that was a lie because I was not at home. Then they told me they heard me tell my dog to be quiet. How can yo tell a dog to be quiet when there is a knock on the door. My husband and I still laugh at that. The reason why I did give them the sectional because they gave me a great price. The person that gave me the deal was no longer there. The new person that took over was renewing the contract and he mess up the deal. ( He was renewing because I was giving items back), What I did was call RAC corporate to explain the problem. The ending result was that I got a discount and a free month and a apology. They were eating out of my hands. I paid off the sectional in two months, It was not worth it the sectional ended up peeling really bad. I brought a new sectional from Walker. Everytime I walk in RAC I get respect. They consider me the their best customer. The new person we get along great. Good person.

Im extremely glad I didnt read the reviews before I started using this store. The customer service has always been on point. Weve been using this Rent A Center for over two years now and they have always been extremely helpful to us. We got a laptop through them originally then we got a second laptop from them after the first was paid off. Anything weve ever called and asked about Joe has found for us within 2 hours and set up a delivery for the next day. The delivery has always been on time if not early sometimes and the things weve gotten through them have always arrived in perfect order. So far weve gotten two beds, two laptops, a dining room table and an entertainment center. My sister even transferred to this Rent A Center due to the one she was going through being pretty bad. The second laptop we got from them they actually called and asked us if we wanted to try it out for a couple weeks because Joe remembered we were gamers. Needless to say we still have that Alienware laptop. Thank gosh for this rent a center.

Needed a laptop for work and thought rent a center would give me the best option financially to get one and not break the bank. I applied and was told to call back in a few hours. I thought what? Dont you want my business? Shouldnt you call me with the good or bad news? Then they had me pay for the first week and I hadnt even got "approved". So I called and was told oh yes youre good to go. Missed my payment day which was on a monday. I was at their door first thing Tuesday morning and had an extra 7 dollar reinstatement fee added on. Ive decided to just give the laptop back. This location is the worst one Ive ever seen or dealt with. Over all rent a center has been good. This location however will most likely piss you off at some point.

Unhappy camper here. They were very happy to take my money and make promises. They replaced my preferred item with an inferior second option - and promised to deliver my preferred item in two weeks. Ten weeks later, they still had their hand out every week for money - with a continued promise to deliver my preferred item (the money I was paying for the less-expensive item was to go toward the purchase option on the higher-end item when it arrived). So from the end of April through the middle of July I paid the higher price for lower quality and never did I see what I wanted and paid for. Its a racket folks...I can afford to purchase from a mainline retailer but I acquiesced to the convenience factor. Lesson learned. Caveat Emptor.

The people that work there do not know anything about the products that they are selling. I was looking for a leather sectional and called down ahead of time to see if they had any. I was told they had two leather sectionala. I went down there and waited for a while before I was offered any assistance. After reviewing their online catalog I didnt see the two leather sectionals they told me they had. So the sales lady shows me a sectional that is made of "faux leather" and she says this is the leather couch. Im like this says faux leather. She looks at me completly perplexed. In the end I had to explain to this sales associate that "faux leather" is not really leather.

First they tried to be a detectives like everybody is lying....then they send over the wrong stuff and to add injury to insult they had the nerve to send me and my wife used mattress like we would sleep on sum stuff that somebody else body been on it could have had bed bugs the mattress had urine spots and was dirty...the works who delivered the bedroom set was cool tho cant blame them!!!!overall experience I rather go pay cash then to rent a center thumbs down but JOE GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE REP thanks for your help even though I nolonger wanted that dirty stuff

I have gotten a laptop from rent a center and now a tv from them. This is great customer service that they have. I remember my laptop needing to be fixed so I brought it there to be serviced and they said when they find out what was wrong they would let me know so I would know how much it would cost if anything. They called me a week later and said its ready to be picked up. I said well how much is it. You guys never called me. And he said well thats because we did it free of charge. Thanks for being such great customers. Wow...
