I went with significant interest in their 1985 Toyota Celica GT base automatic with over 50,000 miles. They asked if I was going to pay cash and assumed I would buy that day. They offered for me to test drive the car for a mile and I was interested. The car ran well and everyone was friendly. They were selling the car for $10,000, which I, and multiple car enthusiast friends, felt was a bit hefty. My close friend who regularly attends car shows and auctions told me to offer only $5000. I offered $8000 and when the salesperson wouldnt budge I said I could potentially do the $10,000 in a month or so as I am a recent college grad just starting to work full time. The salesperson was argumentative but it was understandable and I hold nothing against them. I was still interested in the car and the salesperson was being accommodating. I, and my car enthusiast friends, felt that $10,000 was a lot for this car because it is a base model and has an automatic transmission. If this was a manual transmission I would have made arrangements as quickly as possible, as this would have been ideal. The car was also sitting on the lot for a year. Their argument was that this car is a collectors car. This could be true, but if a collector is looking for a 1985 Toyota Celica, it is most likely they would want to purchase a GTS or Supra, or at least a manual transmission. Additionally the car did have a few minor aesthetic problems such as dents and some engine rust. My experience turned truly sour when the manager called me on my 30 minute drive home to insult me in a five minute long call that I ended up hanging up on him over, it could have potentially been a longer phone call if I let him continue to insult me. I had left the dealership in hopes that I could arrange my financials to accommodate the price, but instead I was berated with insults and told that this car is a collectible and "not for a student." I had just graduated and the salesperson asked me the difference between $8000 and $10,000. I said it was a lot to a recent college grad, a lot more to a recent college grad than a business selling cars for $40,000. During the call the manager insulted me for taking the car for a test drive. Saying that it significantly hurt the value for me to drive the car for one mile. Even if this is true, wouldnt it be reasonable for anyone to want to drive a car before they buy it? He said I could have test drove their new cars, but he also argued "what if you got into an accident?" I think that a business with over 200 cars would be more impacted by a $40,000 car getting into an accident on a test drive than a $10,000 car on a 1 mile test drive. He continued to say that I was a phony customer because I chose not to buy the vehicle. He said that now the mileage on the car is different than the mileage on the website and if they had to ship the car this would be a huge issue. It is pretty easy to edit a website. He also made the assumption that I knew the price was $10,000 before I had arrived and said I was a liar for saying I was a potentially legitimate buyer. Nobody told me the price in person. I did know the price, but what if a friend had told me about the car and I didnt see it online? This is a very legitimate possibility and he felt that I was arguing semantics with him, when he argued that someone might ship the car out in a pod and notice the one mile differential on the odometer vs the website. This is the argument of a four year old. After insulting me for multiple minutes, he somehow he had the gall to say to me that if its still available in a month then I can come back. There is absolutely no way I would ever support a business where the manager acts like a petty child who calls me to tell me Im a bad customer when all I wanted to do was test drive a car and tell them that I needed time to pay the additional $2000 in price. Edit: The manager who treated me so poorlys name is Matt. I would like to reiterate that I was still interested in buying the car before this call. The salesperson I talked to was kind and helpful.

I bought an Xterra from here September 2015 and since the first day I have had issues. Don’t get me wrong, the car appeared in great condition, but mechanically they didn’t do all the maintenance items that should have been done before selling the truck. Before I get into the mechanical problems, everyone was nice for the most part but they really don’t care about their customers. Plus i’m not sure their mechanic knows anything about cars. Mechanical issue number one, the drive shaft felt a little wobbly at highway speeds so I brought it back to them within the first month to fix. Well within their "warranty period." They told me the tires were beefy and that is where the shaking is coming from. This was definitely not the issue and I argued with them on this. They wouldnt budge. So I took it to the Nissan dealer where they fixed a bad U-joint. Problem somewhat solved. Still a little shaky so I took it back to Done Deal to see if they would at least try again. They wouldn’t even take a look. I took it to a local mechanic and all he had to do was tighten a loose pinion gear or something. Now the problem is solved. Second, while the mechanic was poking around he noticed the timing belt was the wrong size... Made sense why the engine would squeak once and a while. That problem solved as well, again, something Done Deal should have caught. Or maybe they put the wrong belt on there in the first place. Third, the light came on to replace the catalytic converter a couple days after their month warranty was up. The Xterra is a second vehicle, so didn’t get to drive it much the first month. I had another mechanic clear the code and it took about 2-3 weeks for it to come back on. Making me think they just cleared the code, knowing it was an issue. Fourth, I just had the rear differential fluid changed to be safe, and good thing I did. The fluid that came out looked like mud…The fluid is at least one of the first things a dealer needs to make sure is fresh, and it’s not expensive for them to do. For the Xterra it should be done every 30k miles. There were 110,000 miles on the OD when I purchased… I’m having the front diff and transfer case fluid changed ASAP now. I bet they were never changed either. Too many items to have overlooked to ever go back. I also needed to replace the clutch 6 months in. Whatever, old car, I don’t blame them for this one, but everything else should have been taken care of.

I never write reviews but I needed to for this place as it was the best car buying experience Ive ever had. Ive always gone to big car dealerships when getting my cars. Never thought of going to a dealership if it didnt have a big name on it. But one day I was browsing on the Done deal website and I was interested in one of the cars. I already had my 2015 vehicle so,me getting into a car that was older was not really in my best interest, I gave the dealership a call and they told me to come in, just like any other dealership would. So I did, I absolutely fell in love with the car the moment I saw it, it was super clean and the floor mats looked in great condition, and I loved it even more bc it was cheaper and affordable than my current 2015, granted it had more miles than my current vehicle but it still drove like it had 5 miles on it. But it wasnt the car that made my experience worth while, it was from the moment I walked in until the moment I drove my car away. The staff was incredible. Matt was my sales person, he was persistent and was probably the least pressured salesman Ive ever had in my life, and an all around great person to deal with. He introduced me to Dimitri, the manager of the place, of course when you meet the manager of a car dealership you automatically assume hes going to be a jerk, but Dimitri was the total opposite, he was the man! The finance guy, Eddy made the transaction the easiest and least nerve racking financial experience Ive ever had, bc he explained the numbers very clearly, and answered all my questions that I had for him. From a scale from 1-10 I rate this place an 11. Thank you so much Done Deal!
