I dropped my bike off for a rear brake job - bike is a custom FXR Boyce Frame, all Performance Machine, S&S motor nothing out of the ordinary. They said nothing on intake that a custom bike was an issue for them etc. They also did not say it would take 5+ weeks to do a break job. Bottom line, took 5 weeks, they never apologized - just made excuses, all my fault since they dont work on customs generally (could have told me that from the start). And I had to call week after week to see where bike was - you dont get a person most of the time just voice mail (for a SERVICE dept??). And on top of that they charged me 3.5 hours just to change a rotor and pads at $89 a hour - thats a max 2-2.5 hour job if that. And that is what took 5 weeks? They could also have told me that it would take over a month to do a break job - then in that case I could have gone somewhere else and saved all this hassle... In the end - my battery was bad also - I told them it was new and that I could return it as it was less than a year old and under warranty - again I had to leave a voice mail (I asked them to call me to discuss, twice, no call back). Finally I show up to just get the bike and it has the same battery that does not turn bike over, and I asked why they had not put in a new battery and they said they had some voice mail from me about the battery being under warranty - so they DID NOT PUT IN A NEW BATTERY - so after 5 weeks of waiting I cannot even ride the bike home I had to trailer it and then figure out on my own what I need for a new battery. Just really poor customer service. I am new to the area so I wanted to try their service out before I bought the UTV and the 2 Four Wheelers I will need here. So needless to say I will NOT be buying anything from Higgins. Just really poor overall - you would think that after all this they would have been a bit apologetic, but no they just blamed me for having a custom bike that was hard to work on etc and excuse after excuse - they had no interest in the fact that I was not happy - did not bother them one bit. I will never recommend nor will I set foot in a Higgins owned business ever again. Told my neighbor this story and he said oh yea that reminds me - I have had a four wheeler there for over a month now I need to call them! You are now warned.

Hands down worst service department Ive ever dealt with. Will never go back. It all began a week ago when the inspector told me the bike would fail for rear tire wear. Fair enough, it was down to the wear markers and I hadnt noticed. I ordered new tires online, brought the tires and wheels to them to have mount and balanced. I was told it would take 2-3 weeks! I went to Cycle Design in Petersham (Awesome guys btw) and they had them mounted and balanced the next day at 10:30am. Fast forward to today. Took the bike down to Higgins to get my sticker. Only a couple miles down the road, so I went out of convenience. They said they were "swamped." One bike in front of me for a sticker. The kid did that sticker in about 5 minutes and disappeared. Never saw him again. I waited for 40 minutes without being acknowledged. Meanwhile 3 more bikes showed up for a sticker. I didnt see anyone in the bays the whole time I waited. The lazy guy behind the service counter wandered out once or twice, and I over heard him ask "Wheres so-and-so, need some stickers done" and went back to sit at the counter. At that point I got fed up, got my money back, and left.

We had Craig as our salesman and he was absolutely awesome. We were looking at purchasing a brand new Victory Magnum and Craig took the time to really make sure we were comfortable with our decision. The buying process was simple and the service department did an impeccable job prepping our new bike. The bike had one minor issue with a faulty parking light, which the service team immediately addressed right then and there. We felt our needs were met and then some. Josh in the parts department was also a great help while reviewing exhaust options and accessories. Jen in finance crunched numbers for days to get us the rate we were looking for in order to make this all happen for us. All around excellent experience. Thank you to all of the staff at Higgins Powersports for your patience with us during our lengthy process of choosing our new addition! Definitely recommend this establishment to friends, family, and anyone looking for great customer service.

“Purchased my 2015 Vision from another dealer that recently closed shop. I was worried since I had a warranty not sure who was going to handle it and a defective rear air shock that is a costly repair. Well I called Higgins and Chris H. himself called me back stating he will do all he can do to help me out and put me in touch with his service department. Zach in service and I went back a few times and they were able to get my bike repaired under warranty and had it all done in a day. Superb customer relations and communications. Side note is I was explaining to Zach last year I went down and Im a little untrusting of my bike Im regaining trust, well the mechanic while it was on the lift gave it a general look and also took it for a ride to make sure all systems were up to par and nothing needed attention at this time....nice touch! ”

Bought a brand new Polaris rush 800 pro S-LE wanted 96 picks in the track and the first monkey put in 168 too many for my riding style, told them I wanted a new track properly studded, brought it back for track replacement and after they finished, I looked at it and they put the wrong size track on it. I paid extra for the limited edition and I want the right track, so they replaced it a second time and when I spoke with my salesman he made it sound like they are doing me a favor by replacing track twice, it wasnt a favor, its the law, I paid for something and I want what I paid for, I figure their incompetence cost them about 4 grand, and now I have a sled that is on its third track and the odometer still says 0 miles. Needless to say, if you want something done right, Higgins Powersports is not the place to go!

Ok, we all look for exceptional service when we have a problem. When we find it, we want to tell everyone. Here it is ! Every aspect of my experience was positive. A special shout out to "Jen" who was a pleasure to deal with, and went the extra mile. Helping with my situation. It is the season, and busy is more like managed chaos. But they made me feel like I was the only customer in the world. I realize that you cant please everybody. But Higgins Powersports has won a new very satisfied customer. Great job by all ! See you again soon. Try them, you wont be disappointed !
