On Monday March 7, I walked in to Laconia Harley Davidson and purchased a used 2010 Denim Black Road Glide. Well since I live in a different state, had to get tags and insurance, The General sales manager Ed Almstsdt informed me my Motorcycle will be washed cleaned filled gas and delivered to me when I show up on Sunday March 13 2016, well Im here to tell you none of that happened, when I walked into the showroom the motorcycle had recently purchase was still in the same place it was from Monday when when I first purchased it never went through this service department, the most EMBARRASSING thing Ive ever seen was when a Salesman had jumpstart a motorcycle with a jumper pack in a Packed showroom full of customers, if the bike had went to the service department of few days earlier we would not have this problem, the service department put a brand new battery inside of the bike, as I walked around the bike when it came out of the service department I notice that the heel shifter was missing, at this point I became very Upset, I went back inside to dealer and informed the general sales manager what was going on, after this he sent the salesman to take the motorcycle he then filled it up with fuel and somebody replace the heel shifter lever, when the salesman returned with the motorcycle I noticed the bike was very dirty because they never cleaned it or washed it there were fingerprints all over the Denim finish, someone in the service department wiped the bike down with some type of chemical that left stains all over the exhaust in various parts of the bike, after this the service department left the bike outside and proceeded to tell me are you waiting for the denim Black Road Glide it sitting over there, no one from the sales department at that dealership delivered the bike to me, they didnt go over the bike to tell me how to start it how to open certain components and what the bike was equipped with, I live in a small town in Massachusetts I drove an hour and half or a 110 miles, to get to Laconia Harley-Davidson, this was the worst experience of my life at a dealership I gave them $15,000 of my hard earned money and basically they gave me their Asses to kiss, yesterday all they could do was give me a thousand apologies and gave me I hat to try to ease my pain, the damage is already done and theres nothing anybody from the dealership can do to make it up to me, there are 6 different Harley-Davidson dealerships between my address and Laconia Harley-Davidson, I chose Laconia because they had what I wanted, My overall experience with this dealership Im very SOUR and Im UPSET I feel RIPPED OFF and I feel USED, I feel that the service department in the sales department completely dropped the ball on the sale of this motorcycle, if this is the level of service Im going to receive from Harley-Davidson of Laconia I will never ever in my life recommend anybody go back there, if youre reading this review and youre thinking to yourself he sounds like a very disgruntled customer well youre right I am, I drove back to Massachusetts very upset, but the damage has been done in the motorcycle has been paid for, to the people at Laconia Harley-Davidson Im sure you are very good people, but you made my motorcycle buying experience a Nightmare, any opportunity that you had to make it Right, no one there to took the time to deal with a paying customer properly, Im sorry Laconia Harley-Davidson but you will never hear or see from me ever again thank you very much!

This place was never on my radar until my girlfriend and I signed up for the riding academy. As 2 people with no riding experience what so ever it was kind of intimidating, but i cant say enough good things about Rick Bassett and his riding instructors. The patience these people have is beyond my expectations. The class experience was light hearted and fun to calm your nerves, but the riding instructors were focused on individual needs to help each person in trouble areas to progress through the activities. If your looking to learn how to ride a motorcycle, or learn how to ride better, Laconia Harley riding academy would be my personal recommendation. I know this almost sounds like an advertizement, but me and my girlfriend were just so damn pleased with the whole experience. Theyve definitely earned a customer out of me.

I had a great salesman with Steve W. Went back to get the loan ready and the manager Will was trying to swindle me with an outrageous interest rate and was lying on how he got that rate. The manager also started giving me and the wife attitude at that time we left. Very frustrated. I felt that harley needed to know. We called the HQ and the the bank which both stated that the manager was not on the up and up. I then called heritage in Concord and the pulled my loan over with the actual rate and I closed on a bike that next day. Very unfortunate that laconia has such a crappy manager and policies. I will never shop there again.

Got a quote to have my tire replaced and when I showed up with my tire (after taking half a day off of work to get here) I was told that my 90$ tire change might be more as the techs have trouble mounting the brand tire that I brought. I have used shinko tires on my bike for the past 3+ years and no one has ever commented on how hard the tire was to mount. Shame on you harley for not posting your prices! Whos to say the guy at the desk isnt pocketing 40$ and you actually charge 50$ to mount a rear tire? Not cool, your company is now a 1percenter club and its about the $ not the ride.

I spoke with a sales gentleman 3 days before the Big 40 bikes in 4 days. He told me that he would get me into a great bike and pay off my existing loan plus 10%. Well when I should up to the dealership with my current motorcycle the sales guy dumped me off on another sales person. The finance guy was ignorant and derogatory toward me because Im female. Insulted me by offering me 1/8 of what my bike is worth. I traveled an hour one way for nothing. I will buy a bike somewhere else. They are not worth my business. Poor business!!!!

Recall on clutch master cylinder could not be done within two days of Bike Week, bike already taken apart. Service manager Craig consulted with factory representative, and they got a new master cylinder flown in, one day later, and bike all fixed and safe. TERRIFIC customer service. Love this dealership. Fantastic over the counter parts department as well. Steve has "made a new friend" with his widespread knowledge and calm demeanor. I am now a dedicated customer for life. Thank you, all at Laconia Harley Davidson.

I live two minutes from a dealership and went with Laconia even though theyre an hour away! They worked with me, primarily over email, to get a bike together with the parts I wanted for a fair price. I was referred to them by a friend that had great service even though he just bought some shirts. After trying to work with several other dealerships, Laconia is the only one that followed up answered all my questions, and ultimately got my business.
