Happy Days
Being a bike owner for yrs I have been around a lot of bike shops in the so.NH area to find none of them really have a clue, when times were good and money was rolling in I paid a few to work on my rides and got very disappointed, a few yrs ago I bought a zx9r, used private sale. Knowing of Hudson Kawasaki/Hudson cycle I decided to pop in as there were a few items I needed for my new to me ride. So now a few yrs later, getting to know the folks over there I wouldnt go anywhere else and I refer them to everyone I know. Dave the mechanic very bright doesnt just talk the talk, he walks the talk, and if ever I needed him to work on something of mine I would feel extremely comfortable as he has been there for me with advice and when he says he can do something he does it, no stories its done thanks Dave. Parts counter Rob another one who knows his stuff very friendly and doesnt look at you like you got three heads when you have a question, he knows exactly what your talking about and if he doesnt have the parts he gets them no matter what, I have never once ordered something to find out its the wrong part when it comes in, Rob your awesome. The owner Brian what a great guy very helpful and friendly and not afraid to give advice on the machines, and its solid advice no guessing around. As I mentioned in the beginning I have been to many bike shops and got lied to overcharged and had to fix myself what I had paid them to do. Thank You so much to the folks at Hudson cycle yes even the ladies in the office who sell me my registration to ride the trails they are always pleasant answering the phones finally a reputable company who has made my riding experience a pure pleasure, Shame on me for not going to them sooner, lesson learned Thanks again Hudson cycle your the best around I have tried them all. Your customer for life. Thank You Richy B

Pros and cons: I am giving 2 stars and not 1 only because jeff and mike in service have helped me out with deals and service through my whole ordeal at hudson cycle. Thats my Pro. Cons: Brian is a absolutly terrible person to deal with. My first buying experiance and he was trying to make me buy a 3000$ bike that i did not suit me and i made that clear. I bought a used bike that was the right size and price for me for around 1800$. The first three months of owning the bike was hell... i brought the bike back within the first week for water they left in the gas from winterization (thats what they told me), second week for not shifting right, third week for a bad connection to the ignition coil. and now after being reasured time after time by bryan that the loud clanging noise coming from the top end was normal for my bike. now after brining it to another shop I have to drop 500+$ into a valve and cam chain replacement (they bike started to burn oil). about 4 months into riding this bike the store had a nice street style bike i was interested in for the same price i bought mine and i thought it would be a nice change from the offroad style i had purchased and was not utilizing. Bryan told me he would only give me 800 for the bike that 3 months earlier i bought for 1800 (kbb at 1200 yeah i got ripped off) I will never step foot inside hudson cycle again I was ready to by the bike for around 600$ on my trade on my trade (keep in mind they advertised the 1500$ kbb priced bike at 2000$). They will rip you off the first chance they get keep that in mind they have no interest in returning customers at all. maybe if you spend 10k+ but for all others stay away.

I dealt with Jennifer over the course of a week looking at a motorcycle. This is my first motorcycle, and is the first of any bike Ive ridden on the road. Hudson Cycle does not charge destination fees and other fees that competing dealers charge, which is a welcome surprise and an instant savings of several hundred dollars in some cases! The store front is small and packed with bikes and accessories. All of the staff were very friendly and welcoming, helping me with a helmet and anything else I needed. The owner and I had a friendly chat, my paperwork was ready in minutes, and everything was smooth. Just a few signatures and I was out the door! When I actually received the bike itself it was completely ready to ride. I got the once-over on the bike to explain its features and gotchas, was asked to sign off the the bike was in good condition, etc. They even helped me load the bike onto my trailer. That last detail may seem like a small one, but Ive been with friends picking up bikes and the shop flat out refused to help. The little details count! Hudson is at least 30 minutes out of my way, being in Manchester. Although I have a dealership down the road from me that will perform my post-breakin service, I will return to Hudson! Service like that makes the extra miles worth my while, and creates loyal customers. I literally couldnt be happier about the service I received, which just makes the bike that much more enjoyable!

Hudson Cycle has the worst customer service and quality of work Ive ever done business with. I dismounted and delivered the wheels and tires from my Kawasaki Vulcan, to be mounted and balanced at Hudson Cycle . I placed wire ties through the inner races to retain the bearings and spacers. First, because I didnt buy the tires from Hudson Cycle they charged me double the normal rate ($45 each) to mount and balance the tires. Secondly, when I got the tires back from Hudson Cycle, the wire ties were not replaced after balancing and Hudson Cycle lost the rear spacer. Thirdly, when I went to remount the front wheel the weights fell off the rim, literally! I called Hudson Cycle and talked to Brian, about the missing spacer. He was completely unsympathetic to my issue, said they didnt have the spacer and I was on my own to find a replacement. This is not the first time Ive had horrible service at Hudson cycle, but it will most definitely be the last time I do business with Hudson Cycle.

I had the chance to experience these guys first hand today. Hurricane Sandy is upon us and I go to fire up my generator it wont start. Carb and tank are gunked up from not using it for a year. I called them and they said bring it right over and well look at it. I brought it in at 2:00 where they helped me unload it and called me at 4:00 and told me it was done. Cleaned carb and tank out. This type of service turnaround time is unheard of in this day and age. I would recommend them anytime! Great job guys!
