I went in the store Black Friday morning 9:30 am and ordered a door that cost $139, $159 and $189 from Joyce. I paid for measurements and asked that they not come on Wednesday cause I would not be home . Told her I needed to get the door replaced by Friday since they had it in stock. I made an online appointment for Friday at 1:30pm and guess what the guy missed it. I was there. He wasnt. he didnt show up so I left and went home soon as I got home he called. Too late. I called the store again on Monday and asked why didnt anyone call about the time they would come out and take measurements. I got 3 calls Saturday and no one knew why they called me. They measured the door and the frame then told me they had to special order my door cause their measurements were not in stock. 37x 81 OMG the measurements were off. the condo I live in has standard doors all 36x80. they took measurements all around the door frame and they even tried to charge me to remove my doorbell. I got a window from them and they charged me $600. The manager, Lisa called 3 times trying to convince me she was giving me a deal. still $612 ended up being $125. with my military discount. My husband and I went in to the store on Black Friday and chose our door. The lady named Joyce serviced us with an attitude like she didnt know what she was talking about. I specifically told her we needed the door by Friday. they jacked up the price by charging me for everything besides the door. I felt like they were deliberately trying to rip me off because I chose the door alone while my hubby was in another part of store shopping.I am sure if he was there with me choosing the door and told them the standard measurements it would have been no problems. these people are are rip offs and I will never shop there again. they thought they were going to overcharge me as a black female.. I went to Lowes and got my door put up today Thursday,5 Dec 2013 and it didnt cost $600 either.. Did I mention on Saturday 3 people from home depot called me and no one knew why they called me. I thought that was strange. I should have read the signs, also when I went in the store Wednesday they had called and told me I needed to call them before 2pm and I got back from my doctor appt at1:00. The day I specifically ask them not to come out. the man in the back said he didnt work that area but was on the phone there. I picked up the pen on the desk to write something on my paper and he told me not to take his pen, its the only one he had. I PUT THE PEN DOWN AND LOOKED OVER THEIR WERE OTHER PENS IN THE CAN. Go figure!!! He went and got a nice Spanish man that tried to help and was polite. the pen guy came right back and sat at the desk then walked away talking on his phone. he worked there because he took care of me for my window just didnt want to take care of me. Wednesday because I was upset with their measurements. Unprofessional. Very unprofessional jerks. they thought they were going to overcharge me with their fictious raised prices. Not me ever again. I know how to use a measuring tape. what a shame though. I am so disappointed. You cant trust anyone anymore.

Dear Store manager at Home Depot, 66 Mountain Road, Glen Burnie! We are from Germany and visiting the US. Our son was getting married these days and as a german tradition we wanted the newly wed couple saw a loog on a saw horse. As Home depot didnt have the saw horse as we were looking for, the store sales men suggested we build it ourselves. We told them that we dont have the tools and they told us they will build it for us at no charge. Especially the sales person Leo was very helpfull. We agreed to pick it up the next day. Unfortunately we couldnt make it that day and came back the day after. Unfortunately someone had put the saw horse in the trash. The salespeople immediatly were looking to help us. Leo, who had his da off, even came back to the center to build us a knew saw horse and we could pick it up 3 hours later! This was an incredible servise and our whole family is very thankfull to Leo and the rest of the guys who helped us there! Well done guys! Regards Andrea and Jochem Liebermann from Germany

I enjoy shopping at this store. They always cut my wood to fit any measurements with efficient enthusiasm and give me great advice on my projects, and have helped me more than once to purchase new appliances. They installed a new water heater for me last year, absolutely no problems. Returns are a no hassle breeze. I admire that they hire disabled employees. These "slow and stupid" people that a previous review so innapropriately referred to, are very devoted friendly employees who offer a sincere welcome accompanied by a heartfelt smile to every customer who walks thru the door. It is true that this location is one of the smaller stores in the area. But they offer great customer service with a small-town feel and a big olé smile.

went to get a tub surround on second shelf, well dressed man came by said he would get me some help. time pases finally an old man comes says he doesnt work in that dept but will get me some help. time passes by no help. i go up front and then go back to tubs old man shows up again climbs ladder(which he did not want to do) says it is to heavy and we need a forklift and left. this is about one hour so far. he left the ladder there i climbed it and got my tub surround, no wonder some companies have problems with bosess(man in suit) and employees that just dont care. i remember when you could ask any problem and they had someone that knew how to help you not just ignore a customer.

The sales experience was good. The person we talked too thought he knew everything! Had storm doors installed. I was not home. The doors never closed properly. We had to lift and pull to close. About six months later it was coming off at the hinge. Before they installed, I asked them to replace the existing frame. I was willing to pay extra if I had too. I was told the frame was fine and didnt need to be replaced. So now we have to lift and pull. And if your a visitor, you can forget it. Too difficult. I know Loews, and Home Depot, and other stores are all similar, but my Home Depot Days are over. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Il. Never go back. Loews is actually closer.

When I have a problem with repair or installation, for example, of my washer cycle dial(no longer available from the manufacturer) or how to select the best material to construct a 160" long curtain rod to hold 15 lbs. of drapes, I go to Mr. Will Bondini at the Home Depot Mountain Rd. store. He has guided me from department to department pointing out what to buy and how to put it all together time and time again over the years. His knowledge of how to solve my problems and provide the material and advice on carrying it out has never failed. Find him if you have questions about anything that brought you to Home Depot to try to solve.
