I was looking to purchase my first truck, and, after getting pre-approved from my local bank, I went to many dealerships over the course of three weeks. I test drove many trucks (which included renting certain models while on vacation), and was torn between a 2012 Ford F-150 and a 2012 GMC Sierra. I recently purchased the 2012 GMC Sierra from Anderson Buick/GMC in Hunt Valley for at least three (3) reasons. First and foremost, my sales person, Jug Brown, made the experience . . . well, fun. I found him and others at Anderson very genuine and helpful (my experience at a certain dealership in Bel Air was quite different). Second, Mr. Brown was very patient with my three trips to the dealership to look at and test drive new and used inventory as well as my e-mail inquiries concerning the same. Third, I never felt pressured. As I said before, Mr. Brown was very helpful. He also respected the fact that I was looking around to explore my options. Separate and apart from the reasons why I decied to buy from Anderson, I have to say that purchasing my truck was just as pleasureable as shoping for it. Due to my occupation, time is truly money. I was able to negotiate the purchase of my truck and value of my trade-in via e-mail. After reaching an agreement, Mr. Brown and my lender took care of the financing via e-mail and I simply stopped by after work to sign the paper work and pick up the truck - Mr. Brown made it that easy. Also, as it turns out, my local bank is one of many participating lenders that Anderson uses to assist customers finance their pruchase of a vehicle. I dont know how they did it, but Anderson got my local bank to lower the interest rate to a little over 2% - saved me about $1,500.00 over the term of my loan. I will return to Anderson, but it may not be for quite a while (with the exception of oil changes and other maintence) - my due diligence in shopping for trucks has led me to believe that my GMC truck will be around for a long time. Thanks to everybody at Anderson, especially to Jug Brown, for the experience - I love my truck!

I am writing to you concerning my first GM vehicle. I own a small business and was in the market for a new truck. I have been a dedicated Ford customer for 35 years. I recently saw the GMC 2500 and thought I would give it a second look. Anderson had the exact truck I needed and it caught my eye. It was then I met Jim Gilpatrick, a salesman from Anderson. Jim was very knowledgeable and friendly. He answered all of my questions without being too aggressive. Jim coached me from just taking a look to "Maybe now is the time to buy." It was then I met the Sales Manager, Darren Gibson. Darren also took his time and spoke to me about the GMC truck and answered any additional questions. Darren assisted me with my trade, which needed special attention. Darren spent a great deal of time researching what avenues the dealership could take to increase my trade value. Darren’s efforts were successful and he was able to get the trade to what I believed was a fair value. For a manager, Darren took a good deal of his time to ensure all of my questions were answered and understood my situation. It should also be known that during my experience with Anderson I was assisted by Matthew Sprigg. Matthew was also very friendly and knowledgeable. Matthew added the little extra comfort level needed to draw me from remaining a loyal Ford customer. I did end up purchasing a GMC 2500 HD and love it... It performs all of my needs with my small business and looks and runs great. I would like to take the time to say that good workers are hard to find, great workers are few and far between. As a small business owner and a full time police officer I, too, deal a lot with the public. As a police supervisor, I understand that the only time you as business owner hear from the public is when something is wrong. In this case everything went right and I believe Jim, Matthew and Darren are an asset to your company and deserve recognition for doing things right.... Thanks again to everyone involved in my new GMC purchase.

We had been searching for a suburban for quite a while and had driven lots of them at lots of places and having said that I will say Anderson of Hunt Valley was by far the best experience we had. We were especially hesitant because a year earlier we had been pressured into buying a Tahoe which was not what we wanted or needed and the whole experience turned into a disaster. We worked with salesman Jug Brown and one of their finance managers. We were very pleased. We didnt feel any pressure and because we were so hesitant I am sure we were a bit of a headache. To top it all off we came in on a holiday and they were willing to stay late to help us with everything. The financing worked out great and we got the Suburban for a really good deal. And they filled up the tank before we drove it off the lot. We did have some problems with it but the difference between a first and second rate establishment is how they handle the problems and they handled it amazingly. It took us a few visits to get everything resolved but in the end Jerry (one of their service department managers) and their mechanic, Evan were really great to work with! They listened to all of my concerns and were willing to work with me on scheduling. They talked to me about what they were finding and listened to my ideas. Evan even came with me twice so I could show him what I was hearing and feeling and then brought me in the shop to show me what they were doing and what they were finding. Even though our warranty was only 30 day 1000 miles they still worked with us well after our 30 days were up since we brought up the problems with the warranty time. Since we live an hour away they even filled the tank up again to make up for us have to make 3 trips to get it all figured out. It was a long ways out for buying a car for us but it was well worth it in the end and I would definitely buy from then again! They are a great group of people to work with!

I purchased my Yukon XL in 2004 and in the past 7 years I have been pretty diligent with its maintenance. My family and I have used it for daily carpool excursions to major road trips, basically travelling the entire East Coast multiple times. It has been one of the best purchases I ever have made. However, the part that has made me a loyal follower of Anderson GMC besides the car itself is the Service Department, specifically Brandon Brockmeyer. Whenever I have needed any type of service he has always made my experience effortless, he is not only a pleasure to work with but he is efficient, reliable, trustworthy and considerate. But it was not until today did I realize how much GMC Anderson truly cares for its customers. A few days ago, I noticed my battery light, but I told myself that I would schedule an appointment and get it fixed. I should have taken the warning lights as a clue, but I did not. While at a stop sign, my car went dead and nothing worked not even my hazards, I could not even move my car out of traffic. After calling my husband I dialed Anderson GMC and the first words out of my mouth to Brandon were “I need your help”. I told him what was wrong with my car and he said “don’t worry, I’ll be there in 10 minutes”. He showed up with a portable battery and insisted that I drive his car while he drove mine back to the dealership. What an AMAZING man! Lately, I have been thinking about my next car, whether I should down size and buy something different like an Audi or Lexus, but today I decided that I would only purchase a car from Anderson GMC. I have never experienced such assistance in such a caring way. I am a mother of 3 who is constantly in a car, it is basically my second home. I need to know that whatever I drive is dependable and the people servicing my car take pride in their work, GMC Anderson has earned my trust.
