So I have been car shopping for 8 months! I wanted a car before I had my daughter in July, she ended up coming in May. Her being in the NICU gave me time to find a safe SUV. Driving to the hospital every single day was eating up our money so I couldnt afford driving anywhere else. I looked online every single day and test drove in Hampton, Norfolk, Virginia Beach, and Portsmouth. I went to Chesapeake too but that was before they had what I was looking for. Everywhere else was a terrible experience! 1st place told me they had the cars I was interested in, once I got there they told me they moved them to their other lot. Then played the "Oh man you already sold them?! Shoot" bs on me and were real pushy on giving me a vehicle I wasnt interested in. They wouldnt let me leave which made me extremely uncomfortable and made me late to the hospital. 2nd place didnt want to negotiate a price and offered to take away the warranty and save the saved 300 bucks. Place I went to after that was even worse! A salesman who was on the phone right behind me cut me off as I opened the door and didnt say"excuse me" or a simple "thank you". I told them what vehicle I was interested in and they didnt let me test drive it. When I asked about financing they handed me a brochure and then told me they had another customer they needed to get to. One weekend I drove to Virginia Beach and they threw me the key is told me to take it for a drive and I noticed the engine light went on. When I asked for the Carfax and mention the engine light they told me they had no clue and they would check it out, as I read through the Carfax I noticed that it mentioned there was an engine problem. The guy lied straight to my face and then tried to convince me it was something minor and to take it for the weekend. He was blasting rave music and wasnt taking any of it seriously. They tried talking to me like I was just some other kid who walked in ready to blow their money. He kept talking his business up and asked me where I went to and as soon as I mentioned a name he would talk down on them which I found very unprofessional. And every time I told him I wanted to thank on it he kept saying car buying should be fun and I need to stop overthinking it. I was ready to leave that place as soon as he started treating me like that. And just when I thought it couldnt get any worse, I went to go check out another SUV and they didnt have it on the lot because it was at the shop. I left my information and the man left the sticky note on his computer monitor and said hed call me when they got it back. I called two weeks later and the lady at the front desk answered. When I told her that I was there a few weeks ago looking for a specific vehicle she put me on hold and then picked up the phone and told me they didnt have it anymore and hung up on me. Just when I was ready to give up, I found Great Bridge Auto Sales and I look through their reviews which were all positive, and contacted them. I immediately got a response from Alexis and it was after hours! I drove out there the next day. Not only did I find the exact vehicle I was looking for, but I found it for the best price Ive ever seen. And thats coming from someone who spent a this whole year shopping online. I walked in and Mark helped me out and went with me on a test drive. For the first time I got a smile and a welcome. They offered me a drink while I waited. Their vehicles are all very well maintained! And when I sat down to get the paperwork rolling with Brian, for once I didnt feel uncomfortable or nervous. They treated me like an adult they are very respectful and they are all happy to help. Not onces did I feel like anyone was pushy or felt like I was being treated like a kid. And the most important thing is I found the vehicle I wanted for the best price out there. I couldnt be happier Im so glad that every where else was a bad experience because it led me to the right place at the right time!

first time we went over we where going to buy 2 cars first 2 cars they said didnt run why show them then .so we shopped around and found 2 other cars kinda risky but we where on a strict budget so made a payment and was going to pay the rest in 3 day i asked if i could take the truck home they said no we started the paper work for the car you can take the truck on Wednesday. So i came back as promised and wrote a promissory note i would have the money . i came back the day i said to find out they sold the truck i was getting so discouraged but they said they work with me so yet again i was looking around they new my price range so another truck i fell in love with they said ok but then the price went up to $7000 i said i could not do that so yet another truck hopes high got drowned. so they told me about a frontier that was $4300 still out of my price and they sold the one i wanted that was in my range so they moved things around and i said i was sure on it because of the mile 249k but they got it in my range so with in 2 days of driving i went to back up to find out my reverse was shot i told them about it all i got was sorry you didnt pay full price for it so there is no warranty but we will call around and see if we can find a cheap place to repair it that was a month ago i will never and i mean ever buy off of great bridge auto they are nothing but money hungry good for nothing car dealer they do not no how to handle buisness and god will put them in there place from stealing from the hard working class all i know is the place needs to burn to the ground

Dain was very disrespectful and perverted. I came there as a new customer looking to buy a manual car. When I told Dain this, he immediately started to make perverted comments such as, oh you should ride the stick not drive the stick. He asked me questions like am I a good girl or bad girl? And other serial comments, just damn right inappropriate and I am speaking 101% truthfully. He was supposed to use my phone to look up my paystubs,but instead he went through my entire phone photos and all until I grabbed it back from him. He also commented, letting me know that Jamaicans were freaks and when I went test driving with him he talked about how he was looking for a house and I mentioned that Im a condo girl, he repeated by saying oh youre a condom girl? Very disrespectful! On top of that they had me running around and sitting around for hours only to find out that they had no cars that I was looking for, which was not stated when I first came in. I was told that they have plenty of manual cars in my price range,but all he kept showing me was high priced automatics that I kept saying I had no interest in. Someone really needs to get this guy in check because that I endure a hell of a lot of serial harassment! That should be unexceptable!
