This is not carmax or a big dealership. Its just a tiny lot that sells used cars. They probably dont check anything, they buy and then they sell. They may know as little as you do about the car youre looking at. They likely get their cars from auctions and people who sell cars at auctions routinely reset the computers so they can get more for their car. Especially hybrids with bad batteries. Hybrids are a joke, ask any mechanic. The batteries dont last but about 10 years so just know that if your looking at a 10 year old hybrid. Do your research and then use that fact to your advantage in negotiations. Try to get it 1k cheaper if the battery hasnt already been replaced (since youre going to be replacing it). If you are willing to check the car yourself (for example check the oil dip stick, if it is dark or stained, or if you can see scratches where someone cleaned it, then the oil wasnt changed often enough. Look in the door jams and under the hood to make sure the lines are straight and the colors match the outside, if not it may have been in a wreck. Have the salesperson start the car while you stand in the back looking for exhaust smoke. Black smoke, it might just need an injector or maybe even just an air filter. Any other color, look at something else unless you can take it to a mechanic b4 you buy. After you start it, give it just a little bit of gas and VERY slowly give it more and more, feel and listen for unusual vibrations in the engine. Also, low miles isnt necessarily good. It might mean the car sat somewhere for 2 years!). If you are not that familiar with cars, yes, probably avoid this place. I checked out my 08 Mini. Saw no damage or signs of neglect. Just a little issue with tires. I drove it directly from the dealership to Orlando Florida. 950 miles. Absolutely no problems. They arent bad people. They buy them as is and sell them as is. You have to do research and check the car. If youre not sure, dont buy it. Take a mechanic with you if possible. They have some great deals, if you can check the car out yourself then I recommend this place. If you dont know enough to check it out yourself, then pay more at a big dealership for a car that is certified.

So I bought a car from this people earlier this year, a Honda Civic hybrid. When I bought the car the battery, hybrid that is, was good to go. Due to some intense snow I was not able to drive the car for the next four days. When I finally got to drive car the check engine came on. I took it the Waldorf Honda and was told the hybrid battery was DYING AND IT WAS GONNA COST ME $3800 TO GET IT FIXED. So I went and got a second opinion, at Greentecauto I was told the same thing. But they added, “This code was registered in the system and would not be caused by only a week of driving. “ When I called up to the shop I was told that Hybrid batteries are like regular batteries and when they die they die. Yea but for a car that doesn’t have an anterior and half of the features draw power from that battery it’s a big deal. When asked if they had a Hybrid Mechanic I was told NO. So I basically they got the check engine light to go off before I bought the car. I was told that I purchased the vehicle as is and they wouldn’t help when any of the expenses. Which is B.S. because it was under false pretenses. I had to take a personal loan out because I cant afford full coverage insurance. It’s hard enough trying to survive off of my VA disability check and now I have another bill that’s 3800? I cannot survive without a vehicle right now. How am I going to make it to VA hospital to make my appointments? With the semester right around the corner, there will be no way I get to class. To add insult to injury this is my last semester.

First of all let me say that The good ratings on here are from relatives or friends of these people. STAY AWAY FROM THESE LIARS!!! They sold us a car for $6,200. that was "Inspected" and after we bought it we discovered that it didnt even have all the brake pads. Also they swapped the tires on us and put cheaper ones on and they were too big for the car and it messed the transfer case up. We tried and tried to call them but they refused to answer their phone and got very upset with us. They refused to fix it and we had to pay a couple thousand to get it fixed. TOTAL SCAMMERS AND LIARS! Then they tryed to hold our tags and make us pay $50 to get them after we had already paid them $30 to send them to our place. they try to suck all the money out of you they can. DO NOT BUY HERE!
