You asked for this..... 1st time going to Stetler for my 2016 Jeep Cherokee. I usually frequent Apple Dealers where I always get spectacular service, accommodations and experience. Sad to say, I cant say the same here at Stetler. Lets begin with the free services, well there arent any. Next, lets start with in personable and not friendly personalities, The service desks, (all of them) were constantly empty every time I went to ask a question. I am grateful for the free water!! It was a very hot Friday. I am thankful I was able to find a coupon on the web. I am very disturbed by this Stetler Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram, 1405 Roosevelt Ave, York, PA 17404 location for not going over the recent recall I had on the 2016 Jeep. This type of concern and or issue would have been mentioned and taken care of at the gate before my keys were even handed over to the tech. After all was said and done, I was given my keys at checkout, the rep lady, walked from behind the desk to exit the area, and pointed to the left side where my truck was. I was not walked out nor was I thanked for my service. My husband and I walked around for 1-2 minutes looking for my truck amongst 10-15 in that row!!!! Overall, I am very disappointed with my recent service. If I am going to pay 70-80 dollars for an oil change I expect top notch service, friendly faces, free water, hot coffee and a clean sitting area and a pretty restroom. Please rest assure, I will make that 20 minute drive to Apple Chrysler in Hanover and if not that one, I was told I can bring my truck to the Apple Honda location across the street from Stetler. This way I know my truck will be washed before exiting the service center!!

Started off being fairly decent dealer-operated service center but has become hit or miss service, lately more miss than hit. Not particularly responsive to concerns & opportunities to make things right: long periods of time to complete repairs, staffing issues, marginal value, etc. $52 to replace a power outlet fuse which still did not work? Really? Its best to use them only if you have to for warranty work. Yesterday, 10/14/16, I had to go to their service department again, in spite of my reluctance to utilize Stetler, as noted in my earlier review above. In this instance, because I had to have a cracked windshield replaced, the State inspection stickers had to be replaced on the new windshield at the place where the current vehicle inspection had been performed: Stetler. I arrived just before noon and was told to please come back around 2 PM since it was lunch time. OK, I get it, everyone deserves a lunch break but two hours? So I returned shortly before 2 PM and waited an hour and fifteen minutes to have two stickers stuck on a windshield. This all seemed an excessive waste of my time. The good things: it only cost $11.02 and the free coffee tasted good. Also, they have upgraded their customer waiting room, which is a good because you are probably going to need it.

Saw these guys at the jeep show in pa and thought hey my lease is up so i like what i see, lets give them a shot. Went and saw bill the sales rep and started no talking numbers and after a few hours, they come back with some that just didnt work. So we work the numbers down on a lift kit and tires and things are looking positive until the money i was going to save there, all of a sudden showed up in a higher tax amount. So after the manager comes in and cant answer the exact question on why this supposed tax went from 600 to 2800 other than it was a mistake on their part. Now being in business myself, we make mistakes and certainly if its my error i cant go back to the customer and say, oh hey sorry, my error you need to pay for my mistake. Now the issue is, they got caught and instead of saying, could we at least meet halfway, I would have signed the paperwork and drove away in a new jeep, but they choose to walk away all together. So that seems pretty fishy to me. I dont want to say stay away because certainly that hurts a salesman like bill and thats not cool, but you have been warned to check and double check their numbers because they are sketchy!

June 30th I arrived at Stetler Dodge Jeep Ram in York, Pa for an oil change. Shortly after taking my car into the garage I was told my inspection had expired also. Although the staff was quite busy with many customers that day, they promised to take care of the inspection and oil change but said I would have to wait several hours. I then requested, and received, transportation to my local gym to use some of the downtime . This courtesy driver service is such a great convenience. Upon return to the garage about 90 minutes later, my services had BOTH been completed! What a pleasant and unexpected experience! The service staff I encountered were exceptionally professional and went out of their way to accommodate me. Rather than a day wasted, I was given an enjoyable experience! Thank you Stetler Dodge

I bought a Jeep Wrangler and when doing the Finacing with Ally the gentleman told me I could refinance with Ally after making on time payments I called Ally and she told that is not true so that was false information . And when I took my Jeep in for Service I told service that my wipers come on all by themselves and of course they couldnt duplicate I did tell when I turned on turn signal they did it also. I also told him that I think it was a electrical issue in the turn signal but of course they wouldnt do anything. I took in again for oil change ask them to check again he said I would have to make a separate appt told him no Im not paying the 95 to tell me they couldnt duplicate it well thats what they told me.

My husband and I quickly learned why Stetler is the best in the area. From the moment I called in to ask about specs on a van and got Joe on the phone he treated us as if we were his only customers. Not only did Joe provide impeccable customer service but he worked with his finance team and manager to give me us deal we could not refuse. They offered a few different options as far as financing and vehicles. When we went to pick up the van it was Joes day off but he still came in and stayed after hours to show us all the bells and whistles. I would recommend Joe and his team to anyone looking for a vehicle. Thank you again Joe and the Stetler team! We will see you again when my husband needs a new Ram!

Had to sit around for almost six hours to complete the transaction. Our keys were basically held captive and werent given back to us until the transaction for the new vehicle was completed. We kept telling the sales crew that we would of had more of a down payment for the new vehicle to lower the monthly payments, but for some reason the three people we told this to apparently didnt hear us. Then we have the vehicle two days and the engine light came on. We were charged ninety dollars to switch the hard top to the soft top. When we took the vehicle to the service department for the engine light it was taken care of promptly.
